Do not buy a membership here. I bought a membership and I have a copy of my receipt. I lost my drivers license but I had my state id with me but they told me no. When i purchased my membership they told me that just give my drivers license number and that would be sufficient but today they had a attitude and said no bring drivers license or pay for today's service. My mom paid $135.00 for a three month service. This is the second time the girl left these bruises on her face. I don't even know what compelled my mom to go a second time. I think she just wanted to give the girl a second chance, but this is unacceptable. She went with my sister in law to the shop after the second incident and confronted the girl. Not only did she admit to the wrong doing (in tears), but also told them that she was not licensed/certified. Absolutely unacceptable. If you care about your eyebrows at all, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here! The first time I came I barely got a "hello" or any kind of greeting. Fine, whatever, I guess I'm not here to make friends. I asked the girl working that day to just clean up my brows, but keep the thickness and the shape of my brows. I got a grunt that I took for understanding and let her get to work. I should have stopped her when I realized that she was threading my brows for a much longer time than needed just for a cleanup. What I got in the end were thinner eyebrows than I wanted - but since my eyebrows grow fast I decided that it wasn't a big enough of a problem for me to complain. Second time around, same girl works on my brows and I repeat the same request as before -- just a cleanup, don't make it too thin. What I got were SUPER THIN eyebrows that were UNEVEN and quite frankly ugly. When I told her I was unhappy because I thought they were too thin, she claimed that "she was just trying to give them shape." No apology. Nothing. Seriously, don't go here. The staff just wants to get you in and out as fast as possible so they can go back to reading their book or surfing the web. Now I'm in the painful process of growing back my brows. I started going to a skilled lady out in San Jose who gave my thinned, uneven eyebrows one look and KNEW that someone had messed me up badly. Two thumbs way, way down. read more

Be VERY ALERT going here I authorized a $2 tip and they helped themselves to a $52 tip on my debit card and the owner refuses to refund my money I have my receipt that says $10 with a $2 tip but my bank statement showed a $10 and $52 charge!! There name for sure doesnt hold up to there work i took my niece there to get her her eyebrows done and she was only suppose to get a cleaning the lady took it upon herself to take off extra. Hair and a big chunk out of her eyebrow at first i couldnt notice it until she went and got a tissue to clean the excess hair off and thats when we Inoticed the lady messed her up now i went to them one time also and the lady didnt do that to my eyebrows but she was very rude and not friendly at all the nane is deceiving dont be fooled and not only after she messed up my niece eyebrows do not go there i wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Came here randomly & the woman did not ask me how I wanted my eyebrows arched when I sat on the chair . She just said hold ( above eyebrow and eyelid ) so I said just a clean up please. I don't think she cared because once she was done she showed me my brows & I wanted to cry. Then she went ahead & put that brow pencil on and asked " do you want to buy" I was like no , quickly payed & left. I had this lady in the Bay Area and she was the BEST, I moved back to Modesto and went to the mall that charged me $15 and she didn't do a good job. Saw a review for this place and I was convinced. They didn't take any hair off my eyebrows, I told her I wanted nice round no arch shaped brows and to not cut my right eyebrow any shorter cause I want to grow the length out to match my left eyebrow and she did it perfect. I'm updating my review to reflect where I think their rating should fall currently. Since writing my first review the awesome lady that was always there moved away. I had since experienced 2 other ladies, but I don't know their names....they both really messed up my eyebrows. One of them took off half of my eyebrows and the other lady just isn't that great and didn't make them even...it was too the extent that it it was probably more noticeable to me than to the general eye, but still annoying. I was about to stop going to the place until Ranjit came along....she is the BEST...probably even better than the lady I originally liked. She is very friendly, professional, and courteous. She pays attention to detail and takes her time. She will even stop part way to make sure that is the shape you want (thick or go thinner). She has since repaired my eyebrows and I love how they look. My advice: CALL BEFOREHAND AND ASK IF RANJIT IS WORKING THAT DAY!! OTHERWISE, YOU RISK LOSING YOUR EYEBROWS AND GETTING A NOT-SO-FRIENDLY THREADER!! This USED TO BE my go to place, the price was on point and my eyebrows weren't bad when they were done. UP UNTIL, they scammed me out my money , swiped my card multiple times saying my card didn't go through when I CLEARLY showed my bank account statement that also had the date time & location but they kept tryna say I have no money and asked to swipe my card AGAIN???????? On top of that they fucked up my eyebrow but I let it slide cus shit happens but now you gon tell me I don't have money when I showed you it went through what ??? I called the manager and she said she will check if it went through twice that night & I sent her proof of everything , gave her some time and texted her twice to get an update & not get a reply back. I go to the location in Tracy. I would leave a review on their page but they don't have one. I want to start by saying I really loved this place the first 2 times I went. I first had Induca (not sure if that is how you spell her name) and then another girl (I don't remember her name but her English was not that good) and they were AMAZING!! My brows looked the best they had ever looked. I asked each one after they finished my brows what their schedule was so I could schedule with them again in the future. Both told me they don't have set schedules and could be working at any one of their many locations. This upset me some. How do you expect to establish a client-customer relationship with someone if you are never at the same location or keep a set schedule? Well, with knowing this info I decided to go on the same days that I came across each of them. The last two times I went I was very displeased! One girl totally ruined my shape and moved the thread so slow that it was painful and I bled. The last time I went was 10/29 and I couldn't even be all that upset at this new girl because she was just trying to fix what the last girl messed up. (I let my brows grow out for 3-4 weeks before going back) I will give them one last chance and if I am not pleased I will NEVER go back and will tell all my family and friends to not go here either. This is the worst place to ever go get your eyebrows done. The lady that was there barely touched my eyebrows and my left eyebrow was completely butchered it was crooked and patches were missing. She said she left them thick because I was growing them out and she suggested I use a pencil to fill them in. I've never wanted to cry so bad in my life. Truly, I know there are those who were pleased with this place. But my experience was being received by a lady who acted like I was a bother just being there. Was told they do not wax but only thread instead. My brows are very blond and was only needing shaping. Since I never had done the threading technique, I asked what that entailed. A rolling of the eyes and then she picked up a spool of thread and said "we use this." My brows do not have the nice shape I'm used to. Will stick with scheduling with my normal gal, even when our schedules aren't matching up exactly. read more

Impromptu visit. First time being threaded instead of waxed - Small place, 3 stations, but the lady that did my eyebrows was very nice, efficient, and knowledgeable. Decided to grow my eyebrows to allow the new person, in my new hometown some flexibility. * Called to make appt, walk-ins only! (eek) *One person working and there was no wait on a Sat afternoon (red flag). * "I told her natural, just a clean up" (mind you I had let my eyebrows grow in) :( Sounds easy enough right, I wasnt asking her to create a shape that was impossible I have a very natural shape, just require maintenance. * When I told her what I wanted, she laughed at me... :( *Result: THIN, over threaded, NO SHAPE and as a topper she had a bad attitude... * Pinched, cut and bruised my upper eyelid... Eh...I've only had one bad experience with them where the girl almost took off all my eyebrow off then decided to fill them in looking like sharpie eyebrows. There was this one lady who was there one time and I didn't get her name but she was so good, very detailed asked you exactly what you wanted and took her time. I feel like most of them hate being there and their job. I always have to say just a clean don't go overboard because they might. (Firm believer in: eyebrows make a big difference) I'm not sure if it's the same owner from the Turlock one but in Turlock they charge $12 and in Modesto they charge $10 for eyebrows only. I just think they should at least act like they like doing their job and take their time since it is our eyebrows,face, etc. read more

My boyfriend just went to get his eyebrows threaded, and he was refused service just because he is a man. He was told by a lady that is working there that they can no longer provide service to men. He has a membership with them, which he has prepaid and even then, they refused service. The lady provided her boss' number and that was about it. Lost money!
