I'm very particular with who does my brows because I've had some bad experiences in the past. But I recently relocated and needed to find someone new. I did a search on GOOGLE and saw Simi had great reviews so I decided to schedule. I love how my brows turned out. There was no pain and she didn't take too much off. In fact, she gave me her opinion and suggested I not go thinner after I asked if I should do more. I left with no redness, stinging, or irritation like I've had at other places. She was gentle and professional. My daughter didn't have an appointment that day, but was with me and had untouched virgin brows needing a light clean-up. I booked an appointment online for SIMI to thread my eyebrows. Went in, was immediately greeted and had a very minimal wait time. The service was overall quite pleasant, with the lady threading one eyebrow and asking if it was okay. However, at the end once my eyebrows were done, I found out that the person that threaded my brows wasn't SIMI which was a little upsetting as I specifically booked an appointment with her after carefully researching where I wanted to get my eyebrows done. The person said she wasn't Simi and that Simi had a day off today -- which is confusing as to why they allowed bookings for her on the day she had off. I wish that they informed me prior to touching my eyebrows as I probably would've rebooked the appointment. My eyebrows came out decent but were thinner than I expected because I did request the person to leave them thick and to just clean up after growing them out for months. I said they were okay when she asked me at the end but looking at them now + getting others opinions, I don't think I've ever gotten them this thin before which I'm really upset about. I feel like this whole situation could've been avoided had I've been properly informed that simi wasn't in today when they checked me in but I do understand that I should've asked the proper questions prior to sitting down. The name cards on the table were next to one another so I just assumed everything was being properly abided by. Definitely learned my lesson, I'll probably go in one more time as Simi's reviews are pretty good. I had a terrible experience here. An older lady did my brows and removed large chunks of hair without asking, leaving them super thin and patchy. I only came in for a simple cleanup, but she completely reshaped them without my permission. She never checked in to see if I was okay with what she was doing. When I saw the result, I was so shocked that I started crying immediately. This was the worst service I've ever encountered. I've never left a bad review before, but this experience compelled me to do so. Afterward, I sat in my car crying, and my husband had to take me back inside to address what happened. It felt like they wouldn't have taken any action if he hadn't intervened. A younger lady tried her best to fix the mess by tinting my brows, but there was only so much she could do. She was the only one who apologized; the older lady never said sorry.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone please stay away. They get super busy and only have 1 person to handle selling their services and providing the service. They need to have better customer service skills. This place is generally my go to eyebrow location, but today I had a negative experience. I went it around 3pm and signed in as usual, then sat down and waited. It took several moments for the lady to come over to me (who watched me come in) and tell me that she couldn't do my eyebrows because she had an appointment for henna. I understand this, but why wait five minutes to tell me? I came back almost an hour later and she still couldn't do them because she was doing henna and suggested I go to the mall kiosk, which I don't generally like to go to. Not only did they leave my eyebrows thinner but the shape in the left one is messed up. It really sucks because I have a hard time growing them out to the thickness I had them before and now I'm basically screwed starting the process again.
