These women know what they're doing! Enter in with beastly eyes brows and leave with flawless, fierce and sharp eyebrows. The woman I had was shy, didn't talk, and was quite aggressive with her threading technique. She definitely jabbed her finger on my eyelid a couple of times too. But honestly? I didn't mind too much because she didn't really hurt me and man, my eyebrows... whatever it takes to get the job done! I'll definitely drop by this place the next time I'm in town! I'd been going here since I was in the tenth grade, back when the owner would do all the work herself. The owner is a wonderful lady, and would consistently do a wonderful job. Now she isn't in shop and the women who work for her are careless. I'm now in my mid twenties and it has taken me a long time to say anything because this place meant a lot to me, but today was the last time I spend my money at this establishment. I provided an exact picture of what I wanted, and no it wasn't a random model, it was literally a picture of myself that I took one of the rare times they got it right. I asked her to just do that same thing (in the picture) again. She barely paid attention to the picture and proceeded to carelessly do whatever she wanted on MY face. Today, I cried at how my eyebrows looked after getting them done. I grew them out for three months because I had to recover from the last time they messed me up. I went in with hopes of them getting it right this time and once again I was let down. Over the recent years I've probably been satisfied with the outcome maybe 2-3 times total. More consideration and care should be taken when you're dealing with the faces people walk throughout life with. And yes that chunk of skin missing is what she did to me today. In conclusion, I literally watched a hard working woman build this business from the ground up, and while I still respect and admire her (as her employees should and should show it by treating the customers properly), I'm officially parting ways. I also forgot to add that after I got my eyebrows done today, I went to see my friend who immediately upon seeing me said I look like a wii character now....so that's great read more

To preface this, before I moved to Denver I had a staples eyebrow lady that knew my eyebrows well (even on the first day she met me though she did fabulous). So with that said I may be a bit biased and have a high standard. This place was a cute little shop in the middle of the outlet. The lady did my eyebrows but didn't really seem to care and I was just another person to push through. My eyebrows were uneven after and 2 different shapes, obviously more noticeable to me since it is my face. This is a tiny little place. I was expecting a line as other reviewers mentioned but it did not move quickly at all. The gal at the front told me 15-20 minutes with approximately be 8 people ahead of me, so I went to grab a bite while waiting. I came back 25 minutes later and there were still 4 people ahead of me. She told me "probably 10 more minutes," but ended up being another 20 minutes. How can they not have a better idea of how long it takes each person when they have such a late volume? Now to the threading. It was a little rough compared to what I'm used to and can maybe attribute it to the long lines and them rushing but the shape overall turned out fine, and they trim with scissors after which not all places do. My biggest issue was the rash and swelling that occurred after my session. I don't know if it was the above mentioned roughness, or what ever they apply after, but my eyelids were first just sore, and the next morning red, dry and cracked, and my the next evening my eyelids were swollen!! I've never had this type of reaction after threading, and am a little nervous to try them again. read more

This place seemed too good to be true initially but I've been here numerous times and it hasn't disappointed whatsoever. It's insanely cheap for eyebrow threading (ten bucks) and almost always quick. The only time I've experienced a wait is on Saturdays, but it depends if there's one or two threaders. I used to go to a salon on Tamarac for threading, but it was full of snobby attitude and high prices. Never going back after finding this gem in Northfield! read more

Quick, cheap and easy- this place is a great go to when you are in need of an eyebrow clean up. My first visit came after I had attempted to try a chic brow salon downtown. I ended up ten minutes late because of the wild parking situation around that upscale salon and so my appointment was moved to the next available opening- almost a week later. I am so glad I found Eyebrow Threading and Design. They were friendly, fast, clean and pleasant. Plus my $10 appointment was a breath of fresh air compared to the $30 appointment I would've had downtown. So I'm assuming if you are reading this, you already know vaguely what threading is. I'm not rating this establishment compared to other options for hair removal (e.g., waxing), but to other threading parlors that I have been to. I've had my eyebrows threaded at four different places. This is the first in Denver. Location: In a little gazebo/kiosk thing in the middle of the Northfield shops. One big room. The cash register, treatment chairs, and waiting chairs are all crowded together. Not a fancy or relaxing atmosphere, but easy to get to, and plenty of parking. Cleanliness: They always are using clean thread, which obviously should be assumed. They do not wear gloves and do not wash their hands in between clients that I saw, but they do use hand sanitizer, and their hands aren't really touching you. Price: Excellent. $10 for brows. Quality: I've had two different employees. The first (who I think is the owner) did an amazing job. The second one was kind and shaped my brows beautifully, but made them way thinner than I wanted. I will give a next shot and try to communicate more clearly that I do not like a really thin brow. I noticed that some of the other "regulars" seemed to finagle it so that they got the other person-- it seems like maybe she's better. It is known. read more

On my Birthday I went in for just tinting $10 service. She then proceeded to tell me that she was going to thread it to clean up my shape before the tinting process. She messed up my eyebrows & threaded them different shapes and proceeded to tell me that my one eyebrow doesn't grow in that spot. I'm sure I know my eyebrows. She did want to fix the other eyebrow to match & charged me for both services when all I wanted was one. I will never go back there again. read more

Love this place. This is the only place I go for eyebrow threading. It's cheap and fast. Eyebrow threading is only 10 dollars! The lady who owns the place is very nice and does a wonderful job on eyebrows. The place is very small so the weekends can get very busy and there may be a short wait. I would suggest going during the week as there are less people and it's less crowded. read more

They completely screwed up my eyebrows the last time I went. It was horrible. Although it was fast and convenient that the staff was able to fit me in without an appointment was fantastic- but that was literally about it! The staff was friendly- I get they have a business to run, but it was horrible that they almost didn't do anything different than what I had walked in with. However, it's so bad that they didn't do much of anything, so I pointed out that I wanted something new and more work and they completely made it thin and low. I wouldn't go back to it. Strangely enough I would return to the Aurora Town Center location where they do their eyebrow threading with a little more patience. I've gone here several times, the first time I ever had my brows done was here. I tried a location in the cherry creek mall and they didn't do a good job at all. They're quick and do a fantastic job at shaping brows that are out of wack and cleaning up from overgrowth. read more

I went on a Sunday afternoon. Wait time was 40 minutes. I'm shopping around for a place where the threading doesn't hurt. There has only been one place where I've gotten my eyebrows done and it didn't hurt, but unfortunately that place is in Las Vegas.... When I got there there was "nothing she could do." This place is cheap for a reason!!! These ladies are terrific! I went at about 10:15 on a Friday morning and there was only one other customer. They did a great job shaping my fairly-sparse brows without plucking me bald. Very quick. Price is right. It did hurt, but so does waxing, and it was over in 5 minutes. read more

This was my second time at this shop, the first time was satisfactory but after the second I decided I would not be returning. The woman who did my eyebrows the first time (who did a good job) was not there and it was a different lady. She was not only rude, she did not understand my very plain English when I asked her to "shape" my brows to my eyelid. I told her I wanted a crisp edge. She told me she did not know how to shape an eyebrow, as a professional mind you, and proceeded to completely round my eyebrows and ruin any shape they could've had. While she was doing this, she also split my eye open with thread.. which did bleed. (And is still scabbed two weeks later) despite all of this, I paid and tipped anyways. However, later that week I decided I couldn't bear it and called in to ask for a refund. I explained the situation and she not only denied my refund, but told me I would have to pay AGAIN If i wanted them cleaned up... she never said sorry for splitting my eyelid which is most likely going to scar. I hate to be a negative Nancy but I would not recommend this place to anyone, I wouldn't want them to go through what I did. Not only were they unprofessional and rude, but eyebrows are on your FACE.
