Let me preface by saying that I've gotten extensions from McBee Lash Bar and they were beautiful and my girl did an amazing job. I decided that I wanted a more natural look this go around so I got just a lift and tint on my natural lashes. everything was fine until she got the dye on my left eyelid and instead of just apologizing and saying it would come off in a day or so, she proceeded to scrub my eyelid so much so that 3 days later I have a scab on my eyelid from her breaking the skin. My lashes look good, but not worth a bloody scab on my eyelid. this place is hit or miss. read more

I have gone to this lash bar for 2 years. Never anything less than exceptional service. I get lots of compliments on my lashes. I contracted Pinkeye and notified Quinny who worked me in same day to have my lashes removed so that my eyes can heal. She wanted to ensure that my eyes were as comfortable as possible. I was pleasantly surprised how intact my natural lashes remain. I will definitely be back in a few days Once my eyes are better for a new set. read more

I am originally from the Northeast and moved to Greenville recently for work. I've been getting lash extensions for 5 years now, every single month (except during COVID) so I have a baseline of what quality lash extensions should look like. I have gone to a few lash places in Greenville that were "okay", so I decided to try McBee Lash bar since they had a decent amount of available appointments on short notice. NOW I KNOW WHY. I left my appoint looking like a drag queen. When Queeny handed me the mirror to see if I liked them, I was in shock at how they were all the same length, and extremely heavy on the quantity of lashes used. She said she can take some of the lashes off but not to worry because they will fall off and lighten up over the next week. She did end up taking a few lashes off, but her work is unsalvageable. I left knowing how awful they looked and immediately called another lash bar to remove them. Unfortunately the other lash bar does not have availability until the end of the week, so I have to go to the office looking like this for the next 5 days. The last place you should go for lash extensions. Glowing reviews and cheap price drew me into this shop. I only wish I took a picture of my "natural looking" lashes after my visit. I literally looked as if someone had put caterpillars on my lashes. POOR communication and cheap looking product. Had to have them removed. Could tell right away that technician had either little or no training. Did not properly tape lids and used no magnification. I am not angry as it was my own mistake. I do not understand good reviews. Nail salon turned to more lucrative lash extensions... should have been a clue. STAY AWAY, you get what you pay for. read more

Not a good experience at all. Had extensions put on after a quick consultatoon and it was suggested that I should get the hybrid full set along with brow wax and tint. I expressed that I wanted just a step up from natural. Fast forward - two days later had to have the full set removed. The salon that removed them said what should have taken 15 minutes took an hour. There was so much goop and glue and way to many lashes to be considered hybrid. I looked ridiculous. And my brows are not tinted evenly. I bookEd this appointment to attend my sons wedding in a few days. Needless to say, the new salon would not put a new set on because of the damage to my natural lashes. So back to square one until my natural lashes have a chance to recover. Consider other options for your lash extensions. read more

This review has nothing to do with the quality of work with this location, as unfortunately, i cannot speak to that. So, I made an appointment at this location with all intentions of arriving to it. I live near Greenville, NC and just typed in "lash extensions near me" on Google. Several locations popped up that I recognized near me along with others I did not recognize. I did not closely look at the states, just the city Greenville. Anyway - I unknowingly booked an appointment in SC instead of NC. I did not realize this until I was on the way to Greenville, NC and entered the directions in my phone and saw the ETA was 5+ hours later. I immediately called the store twice and only received the voicemail. I left a message for them to return my call. I then called multiple other times throughout the night (even leaving an additional voicemail) and still, never got a call back or even an answer. I ended up giving up on calling (because it seemed impossible that someone would ever answer the phone) and just sent a message under the "chat" feature online. At 11:59PM (my appt was for 6PM this same day) I FINALLY heard back. Or course I had a charge of $45 per their policy. I understand policies are in place for a reason, but I had absolutely no way of cancelling 24 hours prior to the start of my appointment due to the fact that I made it for the same day as when I booked it. It isn't like just forgot about my appointment or cancelled for something minor. I totally understand that this was my careless error, but I feel that the situation was handled poorly by whoever I spoke with. I feel that this policy was unfair in my circumstances and offering me a $15 gift card to a business in a different state was just poor taste. I have attached screenshots of my interaction for proof. I have also included the time I received an email confirming my booking, and you can see that I had absolutely no way of cancelling 24 hours prior to the start of my appointment. I hope no regular clients of this location ever have something come up that makes it impossible to get to your appointment or cancel before the 24 hour mark because clearly this business doesn't make any exceptions. read more

if you are out of town or something major comes up in your life don't go with this company. my son and daughter-in-law just had a baby and I was suppose to stay for 2 weeks and help them and after 11 days they were ready to try it themselves... understood. Tried to cancel and they would not let me reschedule or cancel and charged me $40. That was absurd. I will NEVER recommend or try them again!!!! Bad business ethics read more

Worst lash service I have ever received. While the salon is beautiful and the technicians are kind, I had two sets put in one week a part, and both times, all of my lashes fell out almost immediately. Would not recommend and will not be going back. read more
