Von was very nice and professional. I received eyebrow tinting and loved it. It doesn't last very long for $25. Von was very accommodating and willing to use a different tint brand the next time I come. I'll definitely go back. Unless you pay cash, there is a $1 fee for Zelle and Cash App. While I was there, a lady had microblading done. I wasn't impressed with it, but the lady was happy which is all that matters. For me, they were too thick and big. This I woke up to 1/2 an eyebrow being gone. Von said it would last a WEEK. IT HASN'T BEEN 24 HOURS! Very disappointed. read more

Got my lash strips done here a while back they were talking the whole time and the person doing the service would pause during the service to have conversation. Immediately after I left my eye started bugging me and it was irritated I ended up taking them off right after that. I might have been the glue they used or the application I don't know either way I wouldn't got back.They might have improved since then though. read more

Von does an okay job with eyebrows. It's just the customer service is TERRIBLE. She's always on the phone, rough and I don't see any cleansing of station/hands after each client. I originally went for Linda but now she's gone. read more

I wish I would have read the reviews on lashes before wasting my money.. my lashes came off within a half hour I went back and got them done over, I had to go to the store to retrieve more lashes in order to get my lashes done over.. the following morning not 24hrs later I have lashes falling out. Maybe it's because it's done with hairglue and not lash glue, I wear lashes everyday this doesnt happen to me any other time. I pissed I wasted my gas time and money. Maybe some days are just bad days. I was disappointed. Waited all week to make it there. I've been looking for a new eyebrow place and was hoping that this would be it. Walked in and was greeted. I wanted eyebrows and a face wax. I was cut off before I even got to the face wax request. I was asking to leave the eyebrows thick and just to get them cleaned up as they grow. No response from the lady. Then all I heard was music. There was no alcohol or anything put on my face to clean it prior to waxing, ok. No big deal. Then instead of pulling the strips of wax all off at one time, she pulls in sections which is painful. That could be offset by some aloe or baby oil being rubbed into the skin after the waxing, but that didn't take place either. I'm a first time customer here. First impressions are everything and I'm so easy going and flexible that I believe anything can be a fluke. So as I sit here with my face on fire, the lady runs my credit / debit card and the machine is down. Apparently the music I hear earlier was her on hold with the company, maybe. But she was upset and irate and rude to whomever she was son the phone with trying to fix the machine asking them "what's the purpose of having them answer the phone if they am any help and the calling them dumb people." So, IF you knew that the credit machine was down, why not say something to a customer PRIOR to service instead of me having to wait 30 minutes to PAY! Then using another workers mobile pay machine to take my lovey that could have been done 25 minutes ago instead of me waiting. The TIP went back in my wallet and I was offered NOTHING for my inconvenience. It's on with the search of supporting a small business and great tech. The worst part is that my eyebrows bloom nice. read more

I highly recommend them. I been going to them for years since they were at Fairlane to Coral Beach Tan to now having there own shop. I alternate between Von and Linda. Just depends on what days I'm able to go, I hate waiting so which ever sister is available I go to them. They both are good. Sometimes I dye my eyebrows a light brown red color and Von does a great job of coloring my eyebrows. read more

YIKES!!! Flew in from DC and was in desperate need of a mani pedi! Went to YELP and they recommend this place. It's not at all what I expected! 1) They don't do gel... WHAT YEAR IS THIS? WHO DOESN'T DO GEL!?!? 2)They said "we have "polish" I HAVE MORE POLISH AT MY HOUSE THAN THEY HAD IN THAT SHOP! 3)They were very nonchalant, on their phones, and inattentive. I walked out and spotted a place across the parking lot called American Nails. I'm here now and they are wonderful! They have EVERYTHING, and the place is neat and clean and the people are accommodating and conversational. Thank GOD for options!!!! read more

I like the work that was completed, but I have to go somewhere else. When I went last Saturday, she was on the phone for most of the appointment (just like my last visit) and the woman before me looked annoyed when she left because the person (whoever did our eyebrows) had a phone conversation the entire time she was there. Also, I was not greeted upon entering. When a certain someone walked into the salon she (eyebrow artist) got off the phone and greeted her. I was heated! It's annoying enough to get your eyebrows waxed but to have someone that close to your ear having a full conversation is not okay and to not be greeted is just rude. So you receive a 2 star from me because you were on the phone the entire time, was not concerned about the work you were doing, and during a time that was not at all busy, you did not greet someone that was paying you. I understand eyebrows are not expensive; however it's still a business. read more

All though my lashes look pretty ok , the service was so horrible. No one greeted me upon my arrival. Then when I get in the chair to get my lashes done she just begins yanking and pulling on my face without saying a word. I have to hold the lashes in my hand and hold a blow dryer in the other one. And she keeps saying oh man you're making me mess up , as tears run down my face from a blow dryer blowing directly into my eye. Meanwhile my arms are shaking from holding the pack of lashes and holding the blow dryer! She was dining the lashes so fast, and I'm trying to juggle all the tasks I've been given. Then before I can even lift my head up or get my money out to pay , she shouts who's next ? I'm all for supporting women and there businesses, but it is unacceptable to treat paying customers this way. Everyone should be treated with respect especially people who are paying you for a service! read more

While my brows look good the customer service was poor. I was not greeted upon entering or prior to my service. In fact the only time the lady closest to the door spoke to me was when she told me the price and where to sign for my credit card. Customer service skills are very important to me so I will not be returning. read more

I never leave reviews.. I literally had the worst service ever. The lady was really rude and unfriendly and was also on the phone the whole time. My eyebrows were ok but me and my cousin's false eyelashes were done horribly. They made our eyes stick together and they started to fall off a couple hours after getting them done. We also had to blow dry our lashes.. That was a first and last for me. Waste of money, save yours and go else where trust me. If I could give them zero stars I would. read more

I went to get my eyebrows waxed last week. My experience was horrible!!! The manager , Von waxed me. She was playing on the phone while she was waxing my eyebrows. The wax Von put on me was hot!!! She did not trim my eyebrows. I had to point out some hairs that were sticking out, but she cut one eyebrow way too short. So, now one eyebrow is fuller than the other, and she didn't even wipe the clipped hairs off my face!!! She is rude, dangerous, and shouldn't be servicing the public. read more

My coworker recommend this place, so I thought I could tried it out since it was cheap and apparently service is wonderful. When I walked in, the lady mentioned it was going to be a 5 minute wait. I don't know how that is possible when there is a long line?? Well, regardless I waited for a good 30 minutes till I was seen. I asked her could I get eyebrows, upper chin and eye brows done. She said yes and started working right away. Which did not give me the chance to tell her what I wanted. She was waxing and pulling so hard my eyes were getting watery. Before I knew she was done (less than a minute). Didn't bother to show me the results. Then she moved on to my eyebrows.. She made me hold my own lashes, and quickly put them on my left eye (less than a min as well, so I can only imagine how it would look) then pulls out a hair dryer and started blowing them directly at my eye balls (I wear contacts so my eyes gets super dry easily). My eyes were watery non-stop at this point, she didn't seems to care. Then she told me to hold the hair blower along my other hand holding my eye lid already. Then moved on to my other eye. After a quick minute she got up and asked if I was paying cash or credit. I told her credit. We both walked over to the cash register. My bill was $50, left her a tip of $5. (Still don't know the end result). So before I left, I went to the bathroom and check out my eyebrows and eye lashes. In which I almost cried. I went back and I told her the eyebrows did not match, the right was crooky and she kept suggesting to put more lashes so I agreed. Because I'm not a eyebrow/eyelashes specialist! I assume they would know what is best to fix the problem. After the results I was still unhappy, and then she hits me with "you're the one that said to add more lashes"...... Keeping my calm, I didn't response to that.. So I asked her to fix the crooky lashes one last time. Which was not fixed, she didn't seem to care or find that there was a problem in her service. Then I thanked her and left. When I got home, my family and friends had no problem pointing out the flaws of the eyelashes: crooky, one longer than the other, not lined up correctly, and uneven lashes. I don't think this service was deserving of a $55 for 5 min service. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed, which cost me extra but at least they were able to fix the problem and made me feel like a valued customer. She was more concerned about making money, as I had to wait again to get my eyelashes fix while she tend to two more customers. I've had all kinds of bad services before but none that ever left me wanting to write a yelp review. This is my first and hopefully will be my last yelp review ever, and will not be utilizing Eyebrows, etc services again. I highly recommend Luxe salon in Dearborn for any eyebrows or eyelashes services, prices are pretty much the same and they have superior customer service!
