Came here late afternoon for a few drinks with family. The bartender (Latin, heavy accent) was extremely rude. Immediately passive aggressive tones. I asked for Tito's and red bull with a splash of lemonade. He brings back Tito's and red bull with a SIDE shot of lemonade. I brought this to his attention and he gave some excuse about some people doesn't like "his version of a splash". And I in returned said that, "you being the bartender I trust what you decide a splash is". He became very combative. He told me the price ($20+) for ONE cocktail, and I was completely confused. $5 for HALF of red bull. $14 for a shot of Tito's. Quickly escalated to something it didn't need to go to and he got his manager. Never once did he look me in eyes when he was serving me. Never once tried to resolve my concerns about how he made the drink. Just 100% rude! Managers came out and made him make me another drink the way I ordered it. 0 star for the rude ass manager. 0 star for the high ass prices. 1 star for the TWO managers that had to come out for this small ass situation. Ended up at Eye Candy after the Brandon Flowers concert... My group of 6 got lucky and found a vacant table and chairs for all of us. Large open bar area....a fairly good size dance floor area. We weren't there to dance but as it got later... more people were hittin' it up. The music was loud but not too loud that we couldn't talk and have a good time. We didn't have to shout at each other so that was nice. Note: This is not an intimate bar/lounge... it's pretty big and open. The drinks were good ... and we were quickly serviced by the barenders... there weren't any cocktail waitresses.... at least none came to our table. The bar-backs or bus-boys.... they were ON TOP of it.... they were quick to clear our table after each round and did so without bothering us. What can I say.... I love this place. It ain't no meat market or club scene where it's really loud. It's a nice environment with nice chairs and VIP seating. The dance floor is a good size and the DJ's are good too. (When you can have the dance floor packed then you're doing your job.) A small but very nice lounge inside of Mandalay Bay. Drink prices were slightly on the higher side but not too crazy and affordable. The ambiance is really nice with nice lounge chairs and dim lighting. The music is pretty good as well. We didn't dance on the dance floor but I enjoyed just relaxing on the lounge chairs, sipping on drinks and having a good time:) read more

After my friends got married, we all met up here for a pre-dinner drink. It's a pretty cool place. There was no cover, good service, and a dance floor for those that so chose to do so. I really enjoyed that there was enough space for about 20 of us and we all weren't cramped. That was cool. I love the fact that eye candy has open seating area that is not just for table reservations, very convenient for guys to get in without having the hassle of paying cover fee or worry about the dress code. This place is spacious and easy to maneuver through, and it's a really convenient meeting place, with separate places to sit and talk without shouting. There are private booths that are partitioned off with sheer draping which hangs from the ceiling to the floor, which I think is rather chic looking and I noticed that for people legitimately trying to handle business, it was AWESOME. The music, the times that I have been there, has been great and because there are no walls you can see out into the casino and into all areas of the hotel. Had the worst experience here on 3/14/19 at around 1:40am, I was waiting for someone at the bar when I was about to order the drink the bartender asked for my ID then proceeded to question my address on the ID. I told him the address, he threw my at me literally threw it and stated that he wasn't going to serve me because that was not me on the ID. I then turned around and two security guards in suits were walking up, he asked to see my ID I explained to him I'm 27 years old and live in Las Vegas just recently moved here. He stated that he was sorry and would have another bartender serve me. I was so embarrassed to receive this kind of service and on top of it be treated like that by an employee of this establishment. I am beyond disgusted in this grown mans behavior and will not be returning as long as he is still employed in that establishment that is not how you treat people there could have been a different way of going around the situation if that was really the case. Since I was staying in Mandalay Bay, it was only logical that I was going to need to hit up this bar for some cocktails rather than gamble all my money away. We went to eyecandy twice for drinks in the afternoon/happy hour time slot. Do they have happy hour? Uh. Not that I know of. Drinks are $$ but what isn't in Vegas? We ordered standard Tito's and Soda but our bartender did a good job making them strong. I think they were stronger the next day too because he remembered us. It is a good place to sit and talk during that time of the day, watch sports on TV, and just relax and get ready for the evening. They do have bar seating as well as some lounge seats and an ENORMOUS project looking TV. I would have definitely watched the college championship games there if I had known that TV was there. Apparently at night they may have DJs and a dress code and things like that, which I cannot speak about as I moseyed along on other adventures long before that. So check before you go. I'm really diggin' this place. It was a great place to have a fun, chill kind of night. Great music (at least when we went), no cover, small little dance floor, and a variety of people. Eyecandy is a great bar/club to relax at. It is located in the heart of the Mandalay Bay casino. The bar is open air so that anyone can walk in or out...no lines. The DJs here are very good...music mixes are excellent and they play the music videos on each side of the dance floor. There is plenty of lounge seating but the majority of it is reserved. The crowd is usually a mix of middle aged adults from the various conferences that are held at Mandalay Bay. This makes for some people watching entertainment. We hated this place, unfortunately. It was pretty busy, so it must appeal to a certain crowd demographic which we are not part of, so I would recommend checking out the other reviews and deciding where you fall in the mix. Eyecandy made the list of places to check out because we wanted to go clubbing but not pay cover charges or have to get on a list. It met these criteria ably. Entering the Mandalay Bay casino floor, it's squarely in the center and open with very few walls that just line the interior dance floor. This is nice from the standpoint that it's open and you can come and go as you please, but some of our group were weirded out by the openness and lack of 'club' feel. There is some seating which is also a plus as you don't have to pay for/reserve a table. The dance floor seemed small but perhaps that's because too many people were on it. They seemed to be having a good time but we never felt like it was worth venturing out onto the floor, it was so crowded. Even so, we might've been able to tough it out if the drinks had been decent but they were absolutely terrible, and to add insult to injury, insanely expensive. Now, I expect drinks in a club on the Strip to be ridiculously priced, but $50+ for four drinks, one of which was a well drink, and none of which were good or had any alcohol in them, is simply unacceptable. My group had a blast, and centered our night around a table in the middle of the bar - great location for people watching. Negative aspects, it gets crowded so the cocktail service is a little slow, and you need to walk into the casino if you want to use the bathroom. The bar gets plenty of casino revelers, so the foot traffic in and out of the bar is busy, and there is indeed plenty of 'eyecandy'. Not poppin at all. Nothing against rubbing elbows with people who are older but if you are a 20 something year old trying to "turn up" and get "lit" avoid this place at all costs. I only went here because i'm recovering from a broken leg and couldnt bring myself to leave the damn hotel. The music does jump around and is clearly pre-set...its funny watching the dj groove as if he's making the beats live on the spot but clearly by how the videos follow his tight mixes, he's not. I found it odd how the main area where you can sit is completely separate from the dance floor. This place has so much potential to be so much fun but its such a miss. After driving 1.5 hours in LA to the OC in Friday traffic, then sitting in the car for an over 4 hour drive to Vegas, I was tired, but my sister wanted to meet up with her friends at Mandalay. There was no cover and they were playing decent hip hop music and even a little Journey. I couldn't believe that there were a lot of people even though it was already 1A. Went back years later. STILL love this place. We had circled the area for a place that would take our group with more males than females. Unfortunately that was a headache in itself. We came here a little early on a Fri night in Vegas time, around 10 and it was kind of empty, unless you count the random dancing drunk guy. He was totally spazzing out on the dance floor and I got a kick out of how much fun he was having. The girlfriends ran out on the stage and started gettin down with him. I came here strictly for the lounge portion, I have not tried the dining portion of it. Just getting that out there first. I really enjoy this nightclub. It's GREAT for any type of crowd. They play awesome music, and the bar is separated from the dance floor (even though there is one located in the dance floor area, it is separated by a metal bar). I felt that the prices of drinks were pretty typical of a Las Vegas bar. There are waitresses that come around, so thats a perk if you have a group where half of you want to dance and the other just want to hang out. I also love that there is no cover charge OR ever a line to get in. I love that its kind of a hidden gem of Las Vegas, because not a lot of people know about it, but it still brings in a great crowd. No one stares you up and down and everyone is just there to have fun. If you are the type of person that likes KOI lounge and club, or some of the downplayed clubs in Las Vegas, you will enjoy yourself here. If you like the spicy, upbeat, REALLY crowded, out-of-control clubs, you most likely wont enjoy yourself here. I'm surprised to see some bad reviews, because I honestly loved Eye Candy. The setup and decor is great, and there's no crazy bouncers hassling you. There is pretty much a bar, a decent sized dance floor, and couches/seating area all around the perimeter for lounging. Even though the crowd isn't necessarily the best, it's definitely a good time here. After getting sick and tired of being inside Tao, which was RIDICULOUSLY crowded that night, a few of us decided to go back to the hotel, since we were staying at Mandalay Bay. My feet were dying so I changed into flats, leggings, and a mini dress and went out to Eye Candy. We were so happy and surprised that the music was banging here. Every song was a hit and a great song to club to. LIke I mentioned before, the crowd is a bit off here, but what I loved about the crowd at the same time is that everyone was so chill and everyone was there to truly have a great time. No bitches and dicks staring you down. Everyone is just dancing, laughing, and having a fun time. Also, they definitely do not skimp on your drinks here. Although shots of henn & patron cost me $12 each, every single shot was a double shot. I would definitely recommend Eye Candy as a place to either start or end your night.
