Hilarious dealing piano night. It was quiet at first for a Friday night and got busier as it got closed to midnight. We did not drink for the coctail waitress offered to bring us waters.

Stopped by Casbar at the Sahara Hotel during a stay a few weeks ago and really liked it. The vibe was super chill and a perfect spot to grab a couple drinks and unwind. The service was friendly, and I especially loved the fireplace section, which made it feel extra cozy. Definitely a nice, low-key bar to hang out at if you're staying at the hotel.

I went to this bar after someone gave me 2 for 1 coupons. That is why you see two Guinea's bottles in the photo. The atmosphere was relaxing, the piano players were excellent, and the bartenders were cordial and professional. I did not eat any food there but the cocktails were properly made and served.

The Casbar inside of the historic Sahara hotel & casino is newly renovated and super slept on! It does get busy nights and weekends but I don't think this place gets enough recognition! The spirit selection, craft cocktails and the overall atmosphere is elite. It gives off classy, fun and modern. They also have some really nice fireplace lounges which don't require reservations, and they make for great photos. The bartenders and apprentices here are all amazing. I highly recommend checking the Casbar out if you are looking for a new place to drink, that has the perfect mix of luxury and casual.

In the Sahara Hotel. Daily Happy Hour 3pm-5pm + 8pm-9pm with 50% wells, BOGO beers, $5 shots. We visited Casbar right before Balla Italian Soul for happy hour hoping in the Sahara Hotel. I love the lounge design!! Ask for Bartender Han!! He'll elevate your happy hour! He's not there all the time. Plan B: Ask for Ryan who's been there for 10+ years!! Staff made our happy hour fun. We were able to get a well's drink with a twist (tip EXTRA!). We'd love to be back only if Han or Ryan are working this bar. CASBAR Lounge Free Live Music - Saturdays 7pm - 11pm. Open 247. Daily 3pm - 5pm + 8pm - 9pm with 50% Off Wells, Buy-One-Get-One Free Beers, $5 Select Shots. Beer specials $8 for Corona Extra, Modelo Especial. $5 Popcorn. Ask for Han or Randy. They're amazing bartenders!! Balla's Daily Happy Hour 5pm - 6pm + 9pm - 10pm. Drinks and food at the bar. Walk-in only. Free parking. They close at 10pm too though. $10 wine, spritz, dearly choice drink. $5 crackers, $8 meatballs, $10 stuffed mushrooms, $15 pizza, spaghetti, prosciutto figs. Ask for Pedro there!

Amazing cocktail experience. Stopped by on our way through the casino at the end of the night. Service was great, the cocktails were great, and the ambiance is super cool!

    What a steal!

I can't believe I am sharing this, because the deal is just too great while it may last. Went for happy hour cocktails that were half price..that made the choices 7 dollars for a craft cocktail and a buy one get on e beer special that is 7 or 8 dollars depending on if you pick domestic beer or import beer...this is a steal on the strip..... THEN.....add the ambiance with fire features, comfortable and beautiful furniture with music that is not too loud to enjoy such cocktail! Hub got Lemonade mule and I got Tropical Mai Tai....these are not weak drinks. We came back at 8 pm, needless to say.....great place!

Overall: 3.3/5 (dine in) We were really excited to try CASBAR Lounge since it looked like an upscale bar and had a DJ for entertainment when we went Thursday night. We got a table further away from the bar but our waitress was attentive. I got a Butterfly Gimlet ($16) which wasn't tasty or sweet at all. It came with Hendrick's gin instead of Empress Gin so maybe that made a difference. My husband wanted to try the Montecristo cigar Las Vegas edition but they didn't have it. He asked for the Romeo Y Julieta but they didn't have that as well. They only had a Sahara brand one, and he just went with it. When he got the cigar, he used the scissors to cut it because they didn't have a cutter. It took him 5 tries to light the cigar, only to have it taste stale. The waitress was nice enough to just cancel the order on our receipt.

I love this lounge!! It's so chill and perfect for locals since the parking is free at the Sahara. I've never been to the Sahara but I'll be going a lot more from now on. The drinks were strong and moderately priced for being on the strip. Actually really cheap for cocktails on the strip lol The cocktail servers working are super sweet too :)

Great ambiance and good service. Drinks were pretty great. We went during the evening Happy Hour.

We came on Thanksgiving night and we had a great time. The Dj was playing 2000s music so he had was singing along with each song that played. The service was a little to begin with but once we were helped they came around often to make sure we were okay. I ordered an espresso martini which I would give 7.5/10 and my husband had a blueberry mai tai which he said was 8/10. Prices were pretty decent for a lounge and being in Vegas. If we're ever in the area we'd come back.

CASBAR Lounge is located in a casino called Sahara. This was my first time going to Sahara but our friends were able to get seats for the large party during Super Bowl. The prices for drinks by bottle seemed pretty pricey it was $800.00 for a Macallan. Which we ordered and also a ton of beers. The thing was that the servers had no help they were very understaffed for how many people were here. It was packed and we had to wait for a long time for many things which was a little bit sad. They teamed up with a restaurant for that day but it took us almost an hour and a half to get our food. That was just overall too long. This was not the server's fault but mainly the restaurant's fault. If you do get the bottle you should ask them for the square ice cubes because they will just serve it with regular ice. Makes no sense if you are going to charge so much!

Casbar is my kind of bar... Lounge Roaring modern meets vintage decor not to mention fireplaces, wooden paneling in the far left den and seating for days... Couches, Benches and Loungers that would put World Market to shame with the comfort and quality... O.O We strolled over after breakfast... well brunch because it was close to 2:15 by the time we left... Nothing like sleeping in in Vegas on Christmas day. While happy hour isn't required we did want to enjoy all the charm of Casbar and spent a small period of time playing the slots. When the magic hour was upon us... 3pm... We strolled up to half off drinks from 3 to 5 pm and/or 8 to 9 pm (we came back again later... Lol live your best lush life. Open all day and night... Even more deals during game days (often) via buckets and beer specials (buy one get one)... It's easy to see why Casbar will get you far in your Las Vegas and Sahara experience. They offer exceptional service whether at their long rectangular bar or lounging about wherever you'd like... just feel out the aesthetic and let it choose you. You can still hear and enjoy the game even if not in view with their amazing PA system and brilliant reflective services. We caught a lot of the game through the fireplace, which was pretty neat. C. Lounge also has live music at night which was a true treat... very PostModern Jukebox style of some popular covers. The had amazing seasonal drinks me, my sister and mother all enjoyed. The Mistletoe Mule being my absolute favorite with hibiscus ginger beer, lime juice, cranberry puree and handmade vodka by Tito's... not to mention that garnish!!! Santa's Step Stool definitely packs a kick, but I'd also recommend my sister's drink choice the Merry-Time Paloma. The also do $5 shots...as well as a few small bites and eats. You might notice Tangier and other bars or restaurants at the Sahara have similar drinks, but Casbar is definitely topline for all your beverage needs. I can't say enough great things about Casbar! Yes they have table service as well... though I did notice it was fastest at night and after the game(s).

To our surprise Bruno came out again!!! No one ever knows when or if he will be there and we were lucky enough to see him 2 nights in a row, and made friends along the way. It was truly a magical experience, Bruno was the cherry on top but even without him making a suprise performance, Pinky Ring is still such a unique vibe I think everyone who visits Vegas should experience. I have no photos to post, just as intended :) The security was very strict about no photos. We were so impressed how well they caught every person, shining lasers at their camera and spotlighting them then escorting them out. Don't be that person, they will catch you and kick you out and make you delete any photos or videos (even from recently deleted, I asked). Just enjoy the experience with the people around you. No one else has to see photos to believe you, and even if they did they would not fully understand the vibe and experience because they weren't there. The Laundry Room is dead, long live the Laundry Room. The remodel that took place during Jan to May 2026 saw a wide amount of change from Corner Management, the mother company of LR. They got rid of the absolute corner stone of the lead bartender, Anthony, and redecorated the place to look more like the sister bar, Doberman Drawing Room (5 Stars). The remodel was absolutely needed, as the regulars and Dean's List could point out, the place was kind of falling apart. From water warped bar top, uncomfortable chairs, and chipped paint/worned carpet, you would think this place WAS left over from the Prohibition era. What sets this establishment apart from any of the pretend speakeasy on the strip is the atmosphere. At any given time, you could cram 16 people there at a time, even with the reduced drinking time cut from 2 hours to 90 minutes, this place could only cycle thru 50 to 60 people from the reduced nightly opening of 4 hours from 6 hours previously. This make LR special, not some faux speakeasy in Cosmo or Resort World that could jam in 80 people per hour with room to spare. Gone is the rugged identity of the old laundry room for El Cortez, this is spiced up, every square inch of the wall is covered with some art piece, very much different from the Depression era decor. Some art selection are just straight up chaos from the management, the main cherub piece behind the bar is just insanity. The new master of house, Davey, showed skills with his new 14 drink menu, but fell short of what made LR great in the past 14 years. Now, the man had just two months to create his drink list and per himself, had to start from the scratch from when he took over.. So, with that said, let's focus on the drinks. Hemingway Dalguiri, Dust + Ether, and High Noon Static - all great in taste, presentation, and talent, abet we can see the hesitation when making his own drinks, thus slowing down service by quite a bit. My party saw him struggle making 6 drinks at once, 4 of them the same drinks. Recommendation from someone else, maybe record the drink making process and try to eliminate non productive habits and motions via video viewing. Since Davey is a visionary, looking in the past is a deal breaker for him. If you are trying to finish up a previous menu for the Dean's List, the joke is on you, that is a no. Where the hostess (the only person that survived the purge from the remodel) explained to him that exception needs to happen to keep the Dean's List going, the answer was a no since no one at management told him about this. When asked about what will the new requirements will be for the future, it's simple, finish the menu before it's replaced with no chance of catching up. Once a menu is done, it's done. I guess it's easier to keep the drinks under control with less ingrediencies needed behind the bar, but wait a minute... drink number 15, Research and Development, that should give Davey some leeway to non menu drinks right? Turns out, not so much. Sidecar- cognac, orange liqueur, lemon juice. Simple right? He leaves the room to get something from Commonwealth... didn't management installed a new fridge to hold the larger ice cubes, where previous bar keep have to venture out all the time? Turns out, there was no Cognac or any Brandy in the Laundry Room. I can see how things are shaped, strict bottle control is for the benefit of the bar, not for the customer. There is now Vodka, foam, and milk wash but lost Cognac or Brandy, but besides the freedom of choices were also compounded with complete lack of rules. For the last 14 years, the hostess and bar staff on rotation were friendly yet firm about house rules. First given upon entering the secret or window doors, then by the bartender after an aperitif is given (now eliminated). No photo, religion, politic, standing at the bar, name dropping, brawling, telephone calls, PDA, and smoking, plus don't be creepy, be patient, and know your limit. Most of these were not enforced the first 2 times my party of regulars have visited since the remodel. The cardinal sin of allowing one single 4 top to seat 2 people at a time is just wild. But hey, no rules are listed on the new simple menu and none giving at the door or at the seats. So what is this place now? 20 to 23 dollars for a drink plus more for popcorn. All for the experience of being in a noise warfare between Commonwealth and La Mona Rosa's speaker systems, with LR's own music turned up high, and the piano only used one night of the week. I would recommend Doberman Drawing Room as of now for better drinks options, less noise, and vibe. The new menu to replace Fear and Laundry will come out this Fall, will be bring some regulars with me to check on LR again and hopefully give more than 2 stars on the next review.
