I had made a reservation and requested seating near the window so we could really enjoy the rooftop view, and they accommodated my request, which I really appreciated. Everyone was very nice, attentive, and they even sang Happy Birthday to my husband, which made the night feel special. Unfortunately, there were a few things that brought the experience down. It was VERY hot, especially sitting next to the window, and although they had misters, they weren't turned on. That would have made a huge difference. The food was also disappointing for the price and the portions were pretty small. I ordered the Bolognese pasta and honestly didn't enjoy it--it was lacking flavor and was pretty dry. The shrimp appetizer, however, was really good and probably one of the highlights of the meal. We also had the lobster mac and cheese, which was good, but the portion was surprisingly small. The ora king salmon was one of the most unique and flavorful salmon dishes I've ever had, and the sides added a lot of depth to the dish and complemented the fish very well. The escargot was interesting and delicious. However, the bread that came with the escargot was extremely tough and difficult to chew, and we ended up not eating it because of how hard it was. The frites flat iron was amazing as well, but one of my friend's veggies was completely unseasoned and bland. It was definitely prepared incorrectly, because my other friends who ordered the same dish enjoyed the salad with seasoning. The servers were attentive, though they may have been a bit understaffed. Honestly I was so excited for this place, it's super hyped on TikTok but rather a disappointment. We had a reservation and ended up waiting quite a bit and then when we finally were taken to our table it wasn't cleaned so we were walked back to the front. After a few minutes they took us to another table which was much smaller and ended up giving our previous table to another party of 2 which was extremity frustrating. I told the staff that took us and she just didn't say anything... so I was already frustrated by the service. Then when we ordered our food it was okay at best. The baguette was a bit tough and then our burger wasn't even fully cooked. Our server herself was sweet and did her best so good for her. We came to Cheri Rooftop for The Weeknd during 100-degree weather, and we originally had a later reservation but ended up changing it to 8 AM. Honestly, that was the best decision because even that early, we were already sweating. They could definitely use more fans, especially when it's this hot. The steak was a large portion, which I appreciated, but I expected more considering the price. It definitely needed better seasoning and more flavor. I also wish they had more non-alcoholic drink options. The pancakes and crème brûlée French toast were probably my favorites, especially for the price and the location. The L'Ammerican was also pretty good for being such a simple meal. The food did take a little while to come out, but the bathrooms were kept clean and the overall atmosphere was nice. Our server was also super nice and made the experience better. Overall, I think Cheri Rooftop is worth coming to at least once, mainly for the view and atmosphere. I don't think I'd come back unless the weather was much cooler, because in 100-degree heat, it was honestly hard to fully enjoy the experience. The view was really the highlight for me. read more

We were a party of 7 and we dined here on a Friday afternoon/evening. Follow the signs and ask for directions when dining here. It's an open air restaurant so it can get hot despite having umbrellas, misters and blowers. We were fine but one of our friends was partially in the sun so we were switching seats. The server clearly told us once they take our order not to move but we still did. We had to get our friend out of the sun. Service was absolutely great with Ari. We came here to celebrate my birthday brunch, and it was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we walked in, everything felt elegant without being over the top. Chéri rooftop is by far one of the best brunches I've had in a while. The servers were so kind and accommodating. We tried the Eurostar, Incognito (it was so good I had to get two of them!) Cheri Burger, French Toast, Blueberry Bread, Candied Bacon (I've never had bacon this good before, so mouth-watering) and Fresh Fruit, and every bite was worth every calorie! OK, I really loved coming here for their Chéri Rooftop experience. So one of my favorite companies rented out the rooftop for a private party at the conference that I attended. It was wonderful to actually come through the hotel casino to get upstairs to this place. They have elevator service to get you in there, and I love how they have added Security so that only the people for the private event are able to attend. I did have an opportunity to use the restrooms and they were very clean. And I feel like even though we were on a rooftop, the venue was decent and the sound was great. They had several bartenders, and there were so many people that the bartender lines were a little bit slow however it didn't take away from the experience at the rooftop. Unfortunately, I would not dine at Chéri Rooftop again. The food was tasty, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. We specifically came here for the rooftop atmosphere and wanted to sit near the windows so we could enjoy the view and take photos. We asked about window seating and were told no, even though there were empty booths near the windows during our visit. Had we known beforehand that we wouldn't be able to sit anywhere near the window, we honestly would have chosen another restaurant. I completely understand that the restaurant cannot control the Las Vegas heat, and they do have misters outside. However, sitting in the brutal heat at a regular table without even getting the window view or experience we came for was simply not worth it. It was honestly quite miserable. What makes it worse is that this was a birthday dinner for my friend, and I was the one who suggested Chéri. I left feeling like I had made the wrong choice for her birthday, which was really disappointing. The food was good, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to make up for the experience. Been to Vegas a zillion times and never been here! Saw a TikTok which inspired our group to go. Check-in was in the main floor with a nice staircase to the second floor. It was good but just ok. We ordered escargot for appetizers and the blueberry pound cake. The escargot were perfect! 7 beautiful plump escargot in the shells with butter and garlic. Every bite was buttery, and soft with a little crunch to add a nice texture. The French toast was soft and luscious. It was grilled on the outside with a pillowy soft inside. I recently visited Cheri with out of town guests. The food and ambiance were great. However, there was a very uncomfortable situation with a waitress. I forgot my ID, which I take full responsibility for, but was denied being served because the photo of my ID "didn't look like me". I completely understand that a photo of an ID may not be accepted, and I respect a restaurant's right to follow its policies regarding alcohol service. However, what I found frustrating was the inconsistency and poor judgment in how the situation was handled. The waitress initially asked for my cousin's and my IDs but did not ask my husband and her boyfriend who were with us for theirs because, as she explained, they "looked over 30" to her. After I pointed out the inconsistency, she then asked the men to take out their IDs as well. Ironically, one of the men was only 23, while I am actually 30. I completely understand being unable to accept a photo of an ID, but that could have been communicated professionally and respectfully. Instead, I was told that the photo of my own ID "didn't look like me," which was insulting and unnecessarily embarrassing. The fact that she initially chose not to card someone who was actually 23 while refusing to serve someone who is 30 based on her personal judgment only further highlights the poor judgment and inconsistency of the interaction. After this, we specifically requested that she no longer wait on our table. Despite that request, she came back to our table twice afterward to bring us items herself, making the situation even more uncomfortable and awkward. To the restaurant's credit, we were later given a different waiter who was excellent and helped make the rest of our experience much more enjoyable. We were also offered a complimentary round of drinks and dessert, which we genuinely appreciated and thought was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, the initial interaction and the way the situation was handled still left a bad impression. We are locals and professionals who enjoy supporting local restaurants. I ended up having my ID couriered and got my very well deserved drink. read more

Staff was very kind, and our server James was especially friendly. I ordered the Euro Star cocktail, a twist on a gin and tonic. It had a nice tartness from the fruit without being overpowering. Really well balanced, 10/10. For food, I had the croque madame. It's a more elevated version of a ham and cheese sandwich, very filling and topped with melted cheese and a sunny side egg. The cheese was simple but worked well and wasn't too heavy. It came with a side salad with a tart dressing that I didn't love, but everything else was great. 9/10. Been wanting to try this place for some time so I came for restaurant week. It's easy to find from inside of the hotel. You just walk up the staircase and then get on the elevator afterwards. I requested a window seat in my reservation notes and it was granted. Front row view of the water show. Now to the food. We had the firecracker shrimp which was great. The flavor was on point. The entree was the Steak Frites which I asked for medium well but it was a little too red for my liking and it didn't have any flavor. We asked for a1 sauce and was charged $4 but wasn't told prior to getting it. It would've been nice to be informed of the charge. The last course was Vanilla Crème Brulée and it was on point.
