I started coming here regularly but slowly became unhappy with the service, every time something small. So I found a new girl who would come to my home. The times she has gone on vacation I've come back, and every time I regret it. I needed a one week fill. Instead of charging me for a one week fill with foreign lash fee, they charged me for a 6 week fill!! Even the tech told me that wasn't right.. The second time I came back the tech was struggling, it felt like she spent more time ungluing my lashes from the pad then actually doing my lashes. When I got home, I noticed she had CUT a third of my bottom lashes because she didn't cover them with the pad correctly. And the last time, I was told I didn't have an appointment, when I showed the tech my text confirmation she said the tech is on her way she was over 30 minutes late and finished a full set in about 40 minutes. I had showed the tech a picture from THEIR yelp page of what I wanted and my lashes looked nothing like it. Then she said "let me check your profile" because my biggest complaint was the length. She used 14/15s when I get 19/20s.. and she said oh ,ok. So she tried to add longer lashes in, four times she took off the pads thinking she was done but I kept saying they are too short and look nothing like the picture. I finally gave up. She glued lashes on top of lashes so now I have thick clumps of glue along my lash line that are too heavy for my lashes. The longer lashes look messy and out of place. I reached out via email thre days later to get this rectified but I haven't received a response. read more

I'm sharing an experience from 2021, as it really stuck with me. I believe the salon was in a soft opening at the time, and I'm not sure if everyone was fully trained yet. After my appointment, my lashes felt damaged, almost burned. When I later saw my regular technician in Washington, she confirmed there was noticeable damage and advised me to let my lashes recover for a few months. It was an upsetting experience, and I didn't get a lash lift again for quite some time. I hope things have improved since then, but I wanted to share. The stylists and lashes are good quality! The receptionist isn't the best. I feel like everytime I call or come in I need to navigate her attitude. Not sure if she is the same way with everyone. There should be some type of loyalty program for long time customers who come consistently. read more

The service I requested was long lashes like the ones that were previously already in my eyes I was told that they would measure them because I did not know the length the girl that did my lashes did them way too short. They looked extremely ugly when I came back into and asked her to fix them and make them longer girl she did was put 15s on top of The short ones which made my eyes look really crazy. My usual lash lady was booked up so I took a chance by trying this business out for the first time. I want to preface this for full transparency by saying I was 35 or so minutes late to my appointment and the owner or worker there was still so kind enough to still do my lashes and work as fast as she could with the time she had. I really appreciated that and made sure to tip great for her customer service and because my lashes did look amazing; she works very fast. However, sadly they did not not hold up long. Within 5 days of getting my lashes done, they started falling out very quickly! (One or 2 pieces is understandable, but to have clumps and clumps of lashes come off that fast has never happened to me before). They did not get wet or anything, they just fell off randomly. Usually hybrid lashes for me last a good 4 weeks sometimes 5. However, I do want to say that my sister got her lashes done here and they looked really good and lasted way longer than mine so I'm not sure what happened or if me being late correlated to them not lasting long. For that reason alone I most likely think it's worth a shot trying it out one more time. Other than that, the business was very clean and nice on the inside but small. read more

I tried out EyeCandy for the first time on 3/2/2021 The appointment process was super easy!! Jenni was my lash tech she was super sweet the suite was super cute clean and pink (favorite color) . So overall my first visit was 4/5 stars only because I've been getting my lashes down for a couple of years now and i typically don't see myself needing to get a refill until the 3 week mark maybe even towards 4. I Am on week two and i felt like I've lost a little bit more lashes then I usually do. I take good care of my lashes no makeup frequent washing and no rubbing. Worst customer service ever and that also by the owner of the business. She got offended because I told her I didn't like how it came out. As you can see in her response how aggressive she comes out to be. Just because I was honest and told her what I didn't like. She got offended? Does she think that everyone is suppose to like what she does? Everyone is different and as a business, you should be open to feedback but of course not because her pride and ego got hurt. And she also said she took an hour to do my set but she did my full set in 40 mins. I even brought that up to her. And she also said she tried to fix it but I left as I want to take picture and put up review. Why on earth would I ever want to do something like that. You were so rude and your attitude towards me. I just didn't feel comfortable to stay there and let you fix it because you were clearly very mad trying to clean my eyes up. So why would you think I'll be comfortable stating around you after how you were treating me. Nobody deserves to be treated the way you treated me just because I didn't like how my lashes came out. I'm obsessed with EyeCandy Studio! After trying many, many lash artists, it is so hard to find a lash artist that works quickly AND does a fantastic job! Jenny's lashes never disappoint. I first discovered EyeCandy on Yelp, after having a few disappointing sessions with other last artists around the area. I finally decided to give EyeCandy a try, and they impressed me beyond compare! First off, her studio is lovely. Clean, relaxing, the ambiance is nice. My FAVORITE part is that she has a reclining chair rather than a table to lay on for lashes - it is SO much comfier than a massage chair/table and is honestly one of the main reasons I keep coming back LOL! She works so quickly without sacrificing the quality of her work! She can do in 1-1.5 hours what takes some lash artists 2-2.5 hours. Not to mention, her lashes look stunning! I showed her one of her own IG photos as the look I wanted, and she nailed it. I have been a handful of times now, and I also recently just had Sunny (her new associate) complete a 3-week volume refill and she did FABULOUS! Jenni is an AMAZING lash artist!! I'm from Houston but I moved to LA for college and to this day every single time I go home I get Jenni to do my lashes. No one in LA (or in the world tbh) does it like her! She's extremely patient, always gives me a blanket so I can take a nap, and I'm always satisfied with the end product. Once I forgot to show her a picture of what I wanted and it was a little too intense for me, so I texted her and she got me back in the same day and fixed them until I was happy! I found this profile on Instagram and based on limited posts and yelp reviews, I assumed it was a new business, but based on Jenni's quick response and also kindness, I gave her a try. The space is inside of a really nice shopping strip, salon set of suites. The eyelash studio is in the front - super cute and very clean. Jenni has you to sanitize your hands as well. The reclining chair is covered in disposable paper to keep it sanitary. The tape that she uses to open your rue area doesn't stick to your face and isn't unpleasant when she removes it. THE PROS - I was satisfied with my lashes, but think I'll go for more volume next time. THE CONS: within a few days, I was losing lashes. I reached out to Jenni and showed her images and she offered to fill them in. She did tell me based on the beach and humidity, this is what caused them to fall out. I've had other lashes before and believe they used a stronger glue, but when it was time to remove them, I lost a ton of my real lashes. I'll give Jenni another shot! read more

Jenni is the BEST!! I've seen her 3 times already with no issues and they ALWAYS turn out perfect! I get so many compliments and am always told they look natural. They're also very lightweight and lasts a long time (my lashes barely falls out! Sometimes none falls out at all even when I clean them and I'm not THAT gentle with them to be honest lol). I have been a very loyal customer and getting my eyelashes done here by Jenni for a while now. Very disappointed in the service I received today. I came in after exactly 3 weeks for a eyelash refill. I did have some eyelashes still on from when Jenni refilled them 3 weeks ago, however more than usual were missing and my left eye was almost completely bare. (Another reason I will be getting them done elsewhere. They should last longer). Just before starting the appointment, Jenni told me it would no longer be considered a refill since so many eyelashes were missing. I was slightly annoyed but told her it was fine knowing I would not be able to get in anywhere else on such short notice and thinking she would put a lot more time and effort into a "full set". The appointment ended up being a nightmare and is the main reason for this review. She was rushing so much that several eyelashes kept getting stuck together and it was extremely painful multiple times. She only worked on my eyelashes for 45 minutes and then charged me $99. (according to the website a 3 week refill is $55 for 1 hour of work, no specifics on how many eyelashes you must have left on). Whenever I pointed out the price she shows on her website she disregarded it. I also pointed out that my left eye had multiple eyelashes missing in the corner after the "full set". She was already aware she had missed filling several of my eyelashes and did offer to fix it, however at that point I was unwilling to sit back on the chair given how painful the appointment had been. I paid the full $100 and even tipped her still. I understand mistakes can happen, I just wish it would have been handled better. I will not be returning. read more

I am very pleased with the service I received at EyeCandy Studio. Jenni is very sweet and professional and the salon and her studio are very cute and clean . I was originally looking through yelp for a new eyelash tech and stumbled upon her photos of the hyaluron pen and lip enhancements. All the before and afters looked great so I started looking into it and decided I wanted to try it and give my thin lips a little more fullness. I'm so glad I did.
