Hi Guys! I went to see Mali on my birthday a couple of days ago. I, like many of you reviewed local results and artistry. She also had a special of 399.99 which I think is super cool with how inflation and cost of living is super high right now. Very reasonable. Much appreciated. The service I received from Mali was very professional and I know my facial features were very difficult to work with. I have stubborn fat deposit above one of my eyes worse than another which makes life difficult with hooded eyes, etc and dry eye disease with an eye injury in the past to boot that makes one eye bit off with how much it opens. It's a very self conscious thing for me that makes me sad, but we all just try to live our best lives right? With all that discussion, she was very patient and gave some recommendations and helped make this middle age woman feel comfortable to disclose things. That's a true professional. She is out of this world! BEST IN HOUSTON! BEST! Best! .... Best! I booked with Mali because I saw one of her work through a friend. It took me a long time to find someone who is professional and a perfectionist at microblading. I'm glad I went to her. Consultation: she works with you to achieve what shape you want, she aligns it and you talk to her if you want certain areas higher/lower/thicker/thinner/longer/shorter/soft or stronger look. She is very patient and so sweet! (Took me 40 min to know what I wanted) Numbing: (15-20 min) i didn't feel any pain. I only felt sliding on my brows. Her numbing cream is wonderful. I was so close to taking a nap during the whole process. Microblading (takes about 1 hour or less) I chose to do a light brown because I tend to color my hair blonde and different colors. I got beautiful 3D hair strokes after I was immediately excited and loved it! Aftercare: she gave me a small vitamin serum use it twice a day. Takes a 2 weeks to a month to really see how the final results look like. And it's best to do a touch up 1 time or a few times to make it perfect/darker/or old tattoo correction. Mali is from Thailand and she is so sweet and so patient and soooooo gentle. I recommend everyone who is looking for microblading in a no rush time and wants someone to perfect their unique shape should go to her. Reasonable price from all the competitions out there. It honestly did not hurt at all bc she used a numbing cream and it burned a little towards the end, but it was completely tolerable. Omg cannot thank Mali enough for making my brows look so wonderful! I've always been embarrassed bc my brows hair was so light and sparse. I came to Mali kind of skeptical and nervous because I've never gotten a tattoo before and it's going to be permanent. I was afraid my brows was going to look like it was drawn in by a sharpie. Mali took her time to design the shape that I want and made me feel at ease. She will recommend which shape and color looks best. It has only been two days and my brows are looking fabulous. Tips: -cost $289 -Ladies, don't worry it doesn't hurt at all since she puts on the numbing cream initially and throughout the procedure. Even after, I still feel nothing. I guess everyone is different. -I recommend finding a picture of the brow shape that you like and show it to Mali. -total time is ~2.5hr: 1hr for consultation, 20 min for numbing cream, 1 hr for procedure. So use the restroom and eat prior to coming. :) Mali recommend no coffee or aspirin the day of procedure bc it could thin your blood and you're more likely to bleed. - post-care: I'm using Aquaphor and applying twice daily with a Qtip. Try to avoid getting the brows wet. When I shower, I cover it with seran wrap. Then I dab it with cotton balls to dry it if it gets wet. Avoid exercising or anything that will cause you to sweat. Avoid exposing it to the sun. Clean it daily with the cotton ball. -your brows will be extremely dark a few days after but it'll lighten up when it's healed. You'll have to come back in a month to get touch up for $50. Overall, please give Mali a try. She's amazing!! $289 is worth the money. Now I can wake up everyday with my brows on fleek and not having to worry about my fiancé judging me. Lol. read more
