Just got my eyes examined by Dr. Chen and walked away with perfect vision :) Dr. Chen was recommended to me by a friend who has been long time patient of hers. My experience with Dr. Chen was great, she was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Very patient in explaining everything and the results from couple of the tests I did in her office. The office is very clean and you can tell Dr. Chen invested a lot and want what's best for her patients. Been to other eye doctor places and the equipments are old and out dated...but not at this place. Definitely will recommend this office to others and will be back when I am due for another eye exam. read more

Dr Chen is my favorite eye doctor! They are professional and caring, they are very experienced and knowledgeable. I went in for a routine checkup and the doctor told me my cornea was in bad shape and prescribed me some drops. If I didn't come in, I would have had no idea and my eyes would've gotten worse. Rather than just giving me a new prescription for contacts and sending me off, they took the time to provide a long-term solution to the problems I was having. I've been seeing both Drs. Lily and Ted Chen for the past 3 years for eye exams and contact lenses fitting. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Their new optometry shop is so modern, clean, and chic. And I love the name. They really do care about their patients. Finally an office that truly cares and offers the best solutions for picking out the best lens and contacts right for your eye condition and needs. I was seen was by Dr Lily Chen and it started by her asking the right questions to offer sound solutions. I have really dry eyes and am an all day contact wearer so she told me things I can do right at home that would help as well as samples of new lenses to try and I can happily say I can start to notice a big improvement! By the time evening rolls around when it normally starts to feel super dry, it's now way less irritable! Not only that, I ordered eye glasses and learned of blue light filtering that helps me see better and control harmful blue light emitted while looking at my iPhone & monitor all day. They also offer 1.74 index lens which is so much thinner than the ones Costco offers and I have a high RX. She listens to your eye issues and takes it with a concerning mindset and offers great resolutions. She is very patient and I didn't feel rushed at all like it can be in other practices. They have new technology that is forefront and even took time to explain the health of my eye during a retinol scan. I even left with nice goodies to try! Will definitely be back! read more

Due to vision issues and moving to various cities, I have been to MANY eye doctors ever since I was a child. I now have kids who have vision issues requiring them to have their eyes checked twice in a year. Dr. Chen is extremely professional, patient, and caring. She takes the time to call you back herself when you have questions, and you can easily ask a question that will be promptly resolved by either Dr. Chen or her staff. She is also really good with younger kids. My daughter who just started wearing glasses wanted a pair in red. We picked out a purple one on display that looked really good on her, but it was not red, which Dr. Chen overheard my daughter saying to me. Dr. Chen then took the time to look it up online to see whether it came in red, which it did, and showed it to my daughter. Having an eye doctor who genuinely cares to make sure you and your family are well taken care of when it comes to your eyes is important! Dr. Chen is definitely that doctor who wants to make sure everyone is seeing well and happy with their prescription lenses/glasses. She has a nice selection of glasses to choose from. Making an appointment with her staff is easy and getting in the same day to have them make adjustments to your glasses is helpful. Dr. Chen will take excellent care of your entire family! My experience with Dr. Chen was great. I felt like the exam was thorough and she made sure to explain each step along the way to me. I also had photos taken of the back of my eye and unlike other places I've been to, she really to took the time to explain what she was looking at. If I could give no stars I would. I thought about posting this for a while. I eventually decided to upload it to give information about my experience. I ordered my glasses in December and eventually picked up my glasses in March after several attempts to correct the problems with the glasses. I ordered a pair of rimless glasses and have a pretty strong prescription. When I pick my glasses, the doctor assured me that lens would not be an issue. The first time I went to pick up the glasses, there was an issue with the prescription. The other several times are where I am extremely not happy with the service. This place could not get the screws in correctly and the lens were not properly attached. Because the lens were improperly fitted to the rimless, the lens were moving. The one specific time, they asked me to move my appointment so that the Doctor could see me when I was there to pick up my glasses. I had to rearrange my schedule to go and had to wait at least 20 mins and the doctor was not able to see me. I finally picked up my glasses and the doctor represented the lens are properly attached when screws were not completely fastened. She insisted that the way that lens were attached is the right way and there is no issues with it. At this point, I decided that no matter how many times my glasses go in for a service, they cannot fix them. I picked my glasses up and took them to another place that confirmed that screws are not completely fastened and lens are not properly attached. They recommended taking the glasses to the place I ordered them and have them properly put the screws in. This experience was so bad and unpleasant. I was so disappointed with the overall service and misrepresentation. read more

I already had my prescription so I didn't get an exam with the Dr. I was promptly greeted when I entered the office by a very experienced staff member (unfortunately, I do not remember her name) who assisted me with choosing my frames. I was extremely satisfied with the results of Dr. Chen's service. With my previous optometrist, I had come off a prescription for some bifocals that after a few tries still couldn't come up with a good combination between the best distance prescription and a reading lens that balanced book and computer use. The next time I needed an update, I tried Dr. Chen and she hit the prescription right on the money for both distance and reading. She explained initial testing thoroughly and succinctly. We finished that and then I was promptly seen by the doctor. Dr. Chen was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I took my 9 years old son here for an eye test per his pediatrician instructions. My son asked Dr. Chen so many questions but Dr. Chen took the time and patiently explained/answered to ALL my son's questions in addition to addressing my concerns.
