Visited the Eyemart location at 6550 Holly Avenue in Albuquerque for a lens change in existing frames. Service was - without question - superb from my warm greeting to ideal completion of my request. The service representative with whom I dealt was knowledgeable, efficient and refreshingly courteous. The lab completed my order in record time and I am completely pleased with the replacement lenses. They even cleaned up the frames without additional charge and provided me with a complementary sunglasses case. The entire staff at this location definitely provided me with a totally enjoyable experience at a most reasonable price and are each fully deserving of a five-star customer service rating. Apparently, some of the folks writing reviews about the Eyemart Express on Holly Avenue in Albuquerque are basing statements on their experiences with the doctor and not on the young folks in the front who work with fitting customers for glasses. I am an older person and always have a terrible time getting my eyeglasses to fit correctly. I always need to make several trips back to the store to have something changed. The three associates with whom I had interaction -- Adair, Isabella, and Steven -- were all infinitely patient with me and my issues. We came in and was greeted by a super friendly lady at the eyeglasses section. Apparently the eyeglasses section and optometrist section are two different companies.. We went over to the optometrist side and showed up early for our appointment and they took us in which we really appreciated. I gave them 1 star because the tech was SUPER rude and impatient. I would give him 0 stars if I could. It was just an unpleasant experience because he kept sighing in frustration and we felt like we were wasting his time. The doctor on the other hand was nice and more patient than the rude tech. That made us feel a little better, but still can't forget the way the tech treated us. When we left, we were again greeted with the nice ladies at the eyeglasses section. I recommend this place for getting glasses but as far as getting your eyes tested by the rude tech, I suggest going somewhere else. read more

They are charging me an extra $50 to have my prescription rechecked. This is unbelievable. There is something slightly off with the prescription I received and instead of being a stand up company and fixing the issue the have the gull to charge me extra. Stay away from this place at all cost. This place if run by scum. They have lost a customer for life because they couldn't do what is right. read more

Staff very friendly and helpful. I wish this damn mask mandate will be over soon. It's hard to try on glasses in front of the staff because obviously the mask must stay on. I have always taken my kids to the Carlisle Eyemart location. They are extremely helpful, humorous and patient. The weld had broken off at the location of where the frame meets the arm, and my daughter couldn't find the lenses she wanted at the Carlisle location, so she was going to go to the Holly location. My daughter was going to have her yearly exam in September, but in the meantime really needed glasses, so I gave her 200 cash plus my debit card to get glasses until September. You kind of expect that this customer service we have gotten at the Carlisle location would be a standard baseline amongst the stores. What is so unfortunate is all the stellar reviews for this Holly location and they did not live up to it with my family. She was pretty happy that the Holly store was empty, which means NO CUSTOMERS. She was called up by Briana. This customer service rep took it upon herself to give my daughter the most difficult, condescending, unhelpful, racist attitude we have ever been given. This is while the manager was apparently on lunch, and her male coworker was openly laughing at my daughter. Briana would not open the web page/customer history to get my daughters prescription but told my daughter that she had to call the carlisle location and have them fax the script over. My daughter spoke with Claudia at the Carlisle location, and she told my daughter that she was going to fax it to the holly location and additionally, she sent a picture of the script to my daughters phone. JUST IN CASE. Well Briana (the non customer service rep) told my daughter, the fax was blank (?), that she was not going to take the script from the snapshot, and once again told my daughter that SHE had to call the Carlisle location and have them email the script to her (Briana). So although there were ZERO customers and 3 employees at this location, she was telling my daughter, the customer, to call the Carlisle location and jump through hoops. This is while my daughter had a horrible headache from her glasses being broken. When she called me, she was so upset and on the verge of tears. I told her she needed to speak with the manager at the Holly store. But, in the meantime, my daughter called the carlisle location and once again speaks with Claudia whom had taken the last two calls from her and recounted her latest experience with Briana. Including the most recent update which was, she was not going to be giving my daughter the area manager's name nor the store manager's name. That's when my daughter found out that the Claudia was in fact the Retail Manager. She told my daughter to come to the Carlisle location and she would help her with frames & lenses and would have no problem giving her the area manager's name. Plus, there would not be an additional male employee at the Carlisle location openly laughing at my daughter while listening to the horrendous behavior of a coworker. I am seething and disgusted. I don't even want to engage the manager, Maria(?) because she obviously condones this racist disgusting behavior. read more

I wish I could give more stars!!!! The entire staff was so helpful and kind! I was helped with my two separate purchases by Miranda. She was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my 3 glasses and sunglasses were perfect. She had a manager double check my pupillary distance after I mentioned that I had issues in the past with it being measured correctly. She also took additional measurements of my pupils to make sure that I could see clearly. She went in depth over the benefits of the lenses I chose and was not pushing me to get more than I wanted/needed. I have never had such kind and quality service. I will most certainly return in the future and recommend this location, and the entire staff but Miranda is a shining example of what customer service can and should be. This regards the issue of customer service only. I don't know what is wrong with these people. I get the feeling I'm bothering them. No smiles, no greeting other than "can we help you?" What happened to "hello" and with a smile yet? They act as though they hate their jobs. Each agent speaks the fewest words possible. They have their faces turned down toward their laps - probably playing with their cell phones. And then no "goodbye" or "thanks for coming in" when you leave. I've been at this location probably five times in the last couple of months. I just spent $ 1,500 on three pairs of glasses. I expect more. read more

This is the best experience I have EVER had with a Eye doctor office!! From the moment I called in and talked with Ms.Sunshine on the phone I knew she would be able to help me. My mothers were in a terrible car wreck, breaking her glasses in the process. Sunshine was quickly able to find a new frame and and reframe the lenses with in minutes.
