She responded by saying "a lot of the workers are in high school, and we start closing before 9:00 so we can get out of here." I kindly but with a bit of frustration explained that's not how business hours work, and that I felt it was poor customer service. She looked at me like I had three heads, said "OK thank you" and closed the window. The woman sitting eating her ice cream looked at me and shook her head. I shook my head in agreement and walked to Stewart's where the girl working served me with no attitude and a smile.

I have the privilege of knowing Anastasia personally, and I can say without hesitation that her baked goods are the best I've ever had... It's no wonder she graduated at the top of her class from Paul Smiths College. Especially noteworthy are the lemon pound cake, fruit tartlets, and cinnamon buns. She is also an insanely talented cake decorator and pulls out all the stops to make sure her customers are happy. While her bakery will be temporary closed while she is starting her family, I have no doubt her business will continue to thrive when she returns.

The sandwiches however really are the star of the show here as Chuck pointed out. The bread was so fresh it was still warm. And the turkey piled about 3 inches thick.
