One of our e-bikes had low battery charge and even though someone was able to bike out to where we were to delivery another battery, the replacement was also low and wouldn't be enough for the time we rented. We also lost time waiting for the other battery. However, kudos to the staff and owner because they made it right for us when we returned the bikes. Spot has good staff and a great location. Refreshing the bikes with newer models would bump it to 5 stars.

When I told him about my gears being locked up and breaks feeling spongy, he offered to fix them right then and there! When he got out his equipment and started working, he talked me through the whole process. He explained what each step was and what I could do for regular maintenance to keep my bike in good shape. After his work, my ride home was a totally improved experience! Gears shifted smoothly, pedals were gliding, and the breaks were solid. I'll pass his info on to anyone who needs it.

While I understand employees were busy assisting other customers, a simple greeting or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. During our time there, customers who arrived after us appeared to receive assistance first, particularly those interested in electric bikes. We continued to wait patiently and did not make an issue of it. Eventually, as an employee walked by, I politely asked a very simple question, whether the store offered delivery services. Rather than briefly answering or directing us to someone who could help, he responded, "I'm busy with another customer right now," without making eye contact. The interaction made us feel like an inconvenience The question would have helped us determine whether we were ready to move forward with purchasing. A little acknowledgment and basic customer service would have made a significant difference. Based on this experience, we will be taking our business elsewhere and would not return.

New rack and basket strong enough to handle a 1/2 case of cold ones. So happy!

My family came down to Newport Beach for Memorial Day and we thought the rental house would have bikes and beach toys for them to use. It didn't. Luckily I saw one of EZ Beach Rental's flyers and gave them a call. They dropped off a couple bicycles, some beach chairs, an umbrella, and some sand toys for my nephews. They turned a boring weekend into a fun family adventure. Their staff was knowledgable, courteous, and helpful. The delivery was punctual and the pricing fair. If I ever need to rent bikes again in Newport, I know who'll be my first call. read more

Wow what great painless service we just had from EZ beach rentals~! We needed 9 beach cruisers for our large group renting a beach house in Newport for Spring Break. Jed dropped them off right on time at our beach house making it so easy without having to walk a long way to a bike rental shop. When one came down with a flat tire in the middle of a boardwalk ride - with a quick call they were there with a replacement bike in just a few minutes.
