This Jack's is split into two almost separate spots, with women's being on one side and men's being on the other. This one definitely had a smaller selection of Rainbow flipflops than what I was used to at the other Jack's location. Which was totally fine. My sister wanted a pair so it was very limited of which ones they had. Thus, I found some for her, but yeah, that was a bit disappointing. BUT I did get a really cute sweatshirt for half off. They always have good deals for sure! It was only $25 for it. We also got baby boy a t-shirt he will have to grow into haha. But of course he needed one! We came back the next day to get my husband something, too. He wanted a t-shirt, too. We also got a towel for $5 since we spent over $100 which was pretty cool. Definitely will be bringing that to the beach next year. The girl that checked us out was nice, but I didn't really see any other staff walking around to help people out even though it was pretty busy.

(The Echo Beach) And Russell Surfboards is one of the pillars (along with the Froghouse) in surfing culture. I just can't recommend supporting this shop enough. When you go inside, you instantly realize this is a surf shop. They survived all this time by selling surfboards, not clothing like Jacks. When clothing brands like Billabong, Quiksilver, etc started renting out "surf shops," it ruined the authentic soulfulness of a surf shop. JP did such a great job caring the torch and Russell would be proud to see the way he kept the spirit of the shop alive. If you like the idea of supporting a small roots company, buy a surfboard from Russell.

It was way smaller than your fist for $10. My son bounced the ball in the store to show me and the sales lady who was at the register in the front of the store yelled at my son to stop bouncing the ball. My son put the ball back and decided to purchase a water football instead. When I approached the register to pay the sales lady asked me if he put the ball back? I replied: "yes, he put the ball back." In the middle of the transaction she left the register and dashed to the back of the store where some of the kids toys were. After the purchase we walked out and the sales lady ran outside and asked my son again if he put the ball back. Seriously!! I told my son she is asking you because she doesn't believe you. Who does that to a young boy? She displayed such an accusatory behavior that was so uncalled for, inappropriate and unprofessional. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
