This is a really good Driving School! Mrs. Christina is so sweet and funny, she teaches you EVERYTHING you need to know. She explains everything in detail so it's really easy to understand what she's saying. My experience so far has been great, I'm usually not a morning person but as soon as I got to class I wouldn't be tired because she teaches in a fun way where you could laugh. She has really good advice and she can answer almost any question. Over all this driving school is probably the best, I love it! My older sisters, cousins and aunts came here a long time ago. She is a very experienced teacher, glad I had the opportunity for her to teach me! read more

Terrible way to run a business. The lady in charge had no respect for anyone's time. She was late getting to every class and late letting the kids out of class. She also did not provide me with a receipt for my cash payments like I requested. How can you take cash from people and provide them with a receipt or written record of their payment. Very odd way to run a business. To top it off, my daughter was dropped off an hour and a half after the time her driving lesson was supposed to be over . What the hell???? I was pissed! read more

First of all, the Fairfield location is not air conditioned, and the poor kids have to sit there in the sweltering heat of summer while watching really old movies. The good thing is my daughter did pass the course. My complaint is that they entice you to pay a $20 "Deposit" to get the special rate on the driving portion. They give you a certain time frame to schedule the driving, but no matter when you call, they are already booked up and you have to pay the regular rate anyway. Then when I asked if my $20 would be applied to the fee, I was told no. So basically you throw $20 at them for no reason. The three people I spoke today (7/7/10) to were all very rude, one even threatening to make me pay full price for the sessions. This operation is very unprofessional and frankly it is a miracle that the kids manage to pass anything. Take my advice and go ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

Ms Tran was a fantastic instructor. when my daughter took the mock permit test the beginning of the first day, she missed 21 questions. After she graduated and took the real DMV permit test she only missed 1!!!! My daughter wanted to do the online course, but was so glad to take the classroom course instead. read more

This place of business is very unproffesional not only did they cancel my daughters driving class the night before she started but the website offers classes that are nonexistant and they are unwillingly to help get her another class in a timely fashion. So..... The instructor calls about 15mins before he is scheduled to pick up my daughter to say he is having car issues and will call back in 10-15mins (our appt was at 4pm). I call the school to said the lady was she aware of this she says yes and that he should be there soon. I called the instructor back because he did not call back in that timeframe. He said that he was at the shop getting the car fixed, the bolts came off the tires from a student drive but he was about to leave there soon, I said ok. My daughter called the school around 4:45 and the lady said that she was 2mins away, so I waited until 5:15 to called them to see where he was the said that he should be pulling up he said that he was 2mins away, I told her that I'm not sure what 2mkns is to them, but normally 2mins is 2mins not 30mins, so I asked her to cancel the appointment, she asked if I wanted to reschedule, I told her not right now, 15mins later the instructor comes knocking at my door. Never again, these people did not apologize for having us waiting or wasting our time. read more

My oldest son did his driving through EZ driving school. There three kids in the car and I padi full price put he only got like an hour behind the wheel! I sent my second son to Formula ! in Vacaville, Ca. They were amazing!!! One on one instruction. He gives an evaluation after each lesson so you know what to keep working on!! Ms. Tran was an excellent teacher, making sure to start slow and go over everything. She made sure that my daughter felt safe about proceeding before moving on to another lesson. I would really want to thank EZ Driving School for teaching me to drive! I would really say that the driver instructors really brought my self confidence in driving up to the maximum! Mrs. Christina is honestly one of the best driving instructors, she reminded me so much of my middle school teacher and had so much in common with my mom, she made me feel like i was the best driver in the world! The behind the wheel instructors are knowledgable and pleasant. However, time management is poor. Had an appt for 10 a.m. Initially. They called back to reschedule the time to 12 noon. Now it is 12:45 and we still haven't heard from anyone. Not sure if they will show today or not. No one answers the phone at the company. read more

Nothing wrong with this school that I see. Instructor was firm but friendly enough. I was fine with other students driving me home and such. Sure, its not exactly super professional, but how professional do you want it? Suit and tie? I guess if you want a super go-exactly-by-the-book driving school then don't go here, but the environment was fine to me. Most of the reviews here are from disgruntled parents, so I thought I would stir the pot a little by adding a review by an actual student who took both driver's education and behind-the-wheel lessons with EZ driving school. First, the bad: Punctuality. As mentioned by another review, Ms. Christina had a tendency to be late. During the classes, the students always arrived before she did, and my final behind-the-wheel lesson scheduled to begin at 5:30 ended up beginning at 7:00. Now that's out of the way, onto the good. There's a whole lot more of it: Ms. Christina has been teaching driver's ed for 25 years. She was thorough and answered every question my class asked. She told us of personal experiences that really drove home the importance of defensive driving. She provided the class with stacks upon stacks of mock permit tests to do every day. Every single one we went over and every single answer was explained. I got -16 out of 44 or so questions on the initial practice test. A week later, I passed my permit test with a -3. I was given access to the online course free of charge so that I could review during the one week wait to take my permit test. Scheduling and rescheduling behind-the-wheel appointments is easy as pie. They also call the night before the appointment to make sure you don't forget, and they called me to make sure I remembered to take my permit test. Because I took driver's education with them, my behind-the-wheel lessons were a discounted $95 each (regularly $125). My teachers were Ms. Christina herself and her daughter, Ms. Corrina. Ms. Corrina talked a lot. As in, during both my lessons with her, I can't remember a single gap of silence. The constant talking wasn't annoying, though. Rather, it was calming. She was nothing but encouraging, and a lot more relaxed than I was. By the end of my first lesson, Ms. Corrina had transformed a nervous wreck into a moderately confident and competent driver. Ms. Christina was great, too. She helped make my lane changes smoother, taught me mirror distances, took me on country roads twice and the freeway five times, and went over everything that had been covered in the first two lessons a final time. She also taught me for an extra hour. EZ Driving school is not perfect, but for a business with the purpose of teaching teens the rules of the road and how to properly drive, they do exactly that. My daughter took her second road driving class with EZ driving. She was excited after the lesson. She said the teacher (C. Tran) was encouraging and nice. She learnt a lot from her and is looking forward to take her last road lesson before the exam. I am also very impressed with the written report after the lesson. Not only it tells the parents what the student had learnt and gies us areas that the student can improve on. Great Job !! Yes, the teacher was slightly late and the class was longer than we paid for, but the lesson is well worth all the waits. Highly recommended. read more

I also had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with them. I did my drivers education and then their servers failed. I waited for 3 weeks as I had finished EVERYTHING, and when their servers failed they didn"t contact me even once that what happened. So I had to do it all over again. Then when I did it all and finished the final examination they said for some reason the videos your supposed to watch don't say I watched them when I was, and even put the phone to the speaker to show her. I was so tired of the BS that I didn't even deal with driver's ed for a year. This was in Febuary 2010. I turned 17 and was like dude I really need to get my license and so I took it somewhere online IT WAS SO EASY AND FAST!!! For 20$ i finished the online course in 3hrs. Got my certificate of completion in 3 days!! Now im gonna take my permit test and do my drivers training at Sweet Sisters. THEY ARE AWESOME, and have 2010 mustangs!! read more

EZ Driving is an outstanding driving school to participate in. I've had multiple friends and family members take behind the wheel lessons from EZ driving, and all have said that the instructors and peers all have a great connection to learn proper and safe driving techniques. The customer service is very cooperative and flexible to your schedule. Also, the instructors Ms.Christina and Ms. Corrina were very helpful and informative when teaching the rules of the road and learning tips and tricks to help pass your drivers license. The bad reviews for this school are not true, it is ran extremely professionally and to have the owner herself be the behind the wheel teacher adds to the positive experience of being able to drive safely. After your behind the wheel lessons, you'll feel at ease and relaxed to drive safely and be a defensive driver. Overall, amazing service, great instructors, and informative lessons! My daughter is currently attending this school to prep for her learners permit. Today is her last day of class. As far as the school itself goes, it's great. She is getting what she needs to be successful on her test. The classroom teacher, Christina, is very sweet and knowledgeable. She has been here for a very long time. The PROBLEM that I have here is the fact that Christina is late EVERY SINGLE DAY. I'm not talking one or two minutes late; try 10, 20, or ~ like today ~ 30 minutes late. The class starts at 8:30 am. If 20+ parents can get themselves and their children here by 8:30 every day of class, why can't Christina get herself here on time? This is her job and her reputation. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If I were late to work every day like she is, I wouldn't have a job. If I owned a business and my paying clients could not depend on me to be there when I agreed to be there, I would probably go out of business fairly quickly. Most people will not complain; after all, we're only dealing with her for four days. But come on, Christina! Set your alarm to go off 30 minutes earlier. Put your clothes out the night before. Oh, and stop pulling into the parking lot - in front of your students and their parents - with your left hand on the wheel and an open notebook in your right hand. Way to teach our kids to be distracted drivers. If you can't get your act together and start getting to class on time (or even a little early), maybe you should change the start time to "8:30 ish". read more

The class was really helpful, but then you get to make your driving lessons and the moron the makes the appointments is an incompetent "ASSHOLE"that doesn't know how to work with people. Two months passed and he could not get my teen to do the driving lesson. When he finally did, I get to the appointment and this want to be instructor Asshole pulls up with another guy in the car, when I asked "why is there two men in the car", he was really rude he said he had this other student he had to drop off at his house and if had a problem with that maybe I should just reschedule. Not only on my $$ or when my appointment started, zero starshe said if I had I problem with that I could schedule with someone else I told him I was just concerned with dropping off my daughter with someone I just met but two men I didn't even know, he just automatically cancelled the appointment and told me he was not going to help me at all; HE WAS SO RUDE AND LOOKED LIKE A RAPIST, not kidding! let me start out by saying that i NEVER right reviews. however, i just felt the overwhelming need to share my positive comments and experience with E-Z Driving with all my fellow yelpers. i'm an 18 year old who waited 2 years past the time for teenagers to apply for a driver's license. why? because i was scared of driving. i feared for not only my safety but those on the road as well. i knew how dangerous and destructive a vehicle could be. as i got older, the more pronounced my responsibilities became and i realized: I NEEDED TO GET MY LICENSE ASAP. so, i put my big girl pants on, earned my permit, and called E-Z to schedule my behind the wheel lessons. now let me remind you - i was still terrified at the prospect of driving. when i called E-Z, the owner, who was super sweet i have to add, picked up the phone. we went over prices, appointment times, and who'd my instructor would be. the owner informed me that my driving instructor would be Corrina Tran and that Ms. Tran would ease any of my worries. boy, did Corrina Tran not disappoint. this instructor was by far, one of the best teachers i've ever had. she was professional, easy to get along with, and just a downright sweetheart. when you google the definition of a teacher, this definition pops up, "a teacher is a person who helps others to acquire knowledge, competences or values." well, Corrina Tran did just that and then some. she not only eased all my fears of driving but taught me how to drive better, be safer and taught me about life itself within the span of three lessons. my words may sound corny and redundant but i cannot put into words how great of a teacher Ms. Corrina Tran truly is. although i can't speak on behalf of all E-Z Driving instructors, i doubt any of their instructors are anything less than great. i HIGHLY recommend Corrina Tran and E-Z Driving to any parents who are looking for driving schools within the area and i HIGHLY recommend anyone who has anxiety relating to driving to call E-Z for lessons. also, i passed my behind the wheel with only one mistake! again, i cannot begin to describe how grateful i am to have had Ms. Corrina Tran as my instructor nor can i begin to describe how positive my experience was with E-Z Driving! 11/10 stars if it was possible! read more
