Two months later my timing chain broke (engine problem very costly) and was left broken down in the middle of the road. I took it to a certified mechanic and he stated that my car had absolutely no oil. This issue wouldn't have happened if my car had oil My car has no oil leaks or anything that would make the oil disappear in two months.... So they either didn't care to change the oil or they just simply forgot to change it... I've never had any prior issues with places that changed my oil because they actually change it. But as I was about to leave and cross the very large desert, grandma got into my head again and said "did you check your oil?" She wouldn't get out of my head! I really needed to get on the road for the long haul ahead of me and I wasn't that familiar with this particular car to get into adding my own so I stopped by A-1 and they were so wonderful. They had just opened and saw me anyway and had me quickly and safely back on the road even though I was that annoying person who should have planned ahead and had an appointment while I was in the town. They were super nice too. Moral of the story: Listen to your grandmother the first time, go to A-1 for auto repair.

Took a 2022 Ford Expedition in for a coolant system flush and refill with factory 56/44 antifreeze; owner provided. First time used their 50/50 antifreeze after service writer specified owners 56/44. Second time only put 2 gal in a 4 gal coolant system. Suspect the 2 gal was done the first time. Third try, put in 4 gal ish. After running vehicle 15 min on the road going home coolant reservoir tank took approx .75 gal more to fill the system. Was also told and in writing the vehicle cabin air filter was " critical" and needed changing. Filter was new and installed for only one week before being told it needed changing. Indications from others that Mesquite Ford commonly recommends repairs/parts when not needed. Be aware of your go there.

Our GMC K3500 with a truck camper, developed severe rear brake problems while we were on a trip far from our CA home, camping near Overton, NV. Manic Mechanics sure saved the day for us. They started early in the morning, diagnosed the problem, and although busy with other work, moved our problem to the top of the list. Russ test-drove the truck for about 30 minutes and made two personal trips to get parts, getting us out that same day. I won't go into the technical details here, but suffice it say the problem was corrected as if the truck was new again. Ethical, honest and affordable. The shop is not a fancy showplace, but more of a REAL desert service garage oriented towards getting the job done. All that in about 115°F heat. They are right across from the Overton Airport at 1175 Cooper Street in Overton, but their mailing address is 3475 N Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV 89021.
