Two months later my timing chain broke (engine problem very costly) and was left broken down in the middle of the road. I took it to a certified mechanic and he stated that my car had absolutely no oil. This issue wouldn't have happened if my car had oil My car has no oil leaks or anything that would make the oil disappear in two months.... So they either didn't care to change the oil or they just simply forgot to change it... I've never had any prior issues with places that changed my oil because they actually change it. He did "check the cabin filter which consisted of him jimmying my filter case but maybe I missed something. I did try to tip him multiple times and he didn't accept it and I thought that was odd but okay. Overall it was a strange experience to have so early but I believe I received honest service. I pulled up and was able to get right into the bay for service. About 30 min into waiting, I had noticed four cars leave the bay next to mine and my car was still not finished. I asked as to why it was taking so long and I was told that they did not have the oil filter in stock and had to "rush order" it in. The oil change was then completed, and I went on my way, but it would be really nice to have someone step out and explain that there will be a delay or an estimated time or something along those lines. It took about 45 min, which isn't terrible I guess, but probably at least twice as long as I was expecting, which seems even longer when on a time crunch.
