TLDR: If you need a long-term and honest mechanic, go with Miguel's Mobile Mechanic. Mechanic shops are a dime a dozen nowadays. Any mechanic or business owner can put together a garage with their fancy car lifts, jacks, engine lifting thingys, scanners/testers, wrenches, etc. and be classified as a mechanic shop. I almost didn't want to write this review because I know they'll be flooded with business after this and it'll be harder to reach them. But what made me come back here three times already is that it's a honest family-owned and mobile. If you need a long-term mechanic, Michel's Mobile Mechanic will be your go to. Being a handy and reliable person myself, I already know my limitations, and so the three services I needed was a starter replacement, gasket replacements, and most recently, a new radiator. The nipple of the radiator broke off and was stuck inside the hose, I figured that I could do the whole MacGyver thing and do the barb thing live I've done around the house but if that piece broke, I just wondered what other areas of the radiator might be just as frail or weak. So I opted a replacement which they took care of. I know I should tow the vehicle to the shop but it wasn't just me at the house that I had to take care of. So I'm grateful for Miguel for approving their mechanics coming out to my house. Payment is agreed prior to everything and you can pay on mobile after the job is done. For my gasket changes, I brought my truck into the shop and sat at the lobby. That's a trip in itself, because they're a family business so you get to hear all the loud conversations and yelling like a family normally does. I wish I could remember the technician's name. They arrived within the time frame given. I requested oil change and thought I needed brakes. My technician said they didn't need changing, I had mud on the pads which was causing the squeaking. I so appreciated my technician. My car experienced issues on Thursday (weak acceleration, rough idling, check engine light, and TRAC OFF light). I called and spoke to Karina who provided me with exceptional customer service from the beginning to the end. I was given a time slot between 1pm-4pm. The mechanic named Bryan was on time. He diagnosed my 2014 Toyota Corolla LE with P0304 (Cylinder #4 misfire). He recommended that I replace all four spark plugs and all four ignition coils. Service requested was to repair my issue with the vehicle. All they did was charge me $125 and stated from Eddie mouth can't fix because of liability. Like, "what?" Huh!?!? I spoke with them at 8:17 a.m. to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and look at my vehicle. We agreed on a time between 3:00-4:00 p.m. Around 3:19 p.m., I texted to see if they would call or text when they were on the way. I received no response, which I initially understood since my appointment window was still open. At 4:04 p.m., I texted again to ask if they were still coming, but again received no response. I then tried calling three different times with no answer and was unable to leave a message because the mailbox was full. At 4:20 p.m., they finally called to say the technician was running late and asked if they could come first thing the next morning. If they knew they were running behind, they should have notified me beforehand. My husband left early to make sure he was home between 3-4 p.m. for this appointment, all for nothing. My barely driven 2004 Buick, she wouldn't start,(bad battery) and wouldn't stay started. I called Miguels, they sent their tech (very nice guy) to my home, he diagnosed the problem very quickly (fuel pump bad). Due to the fact that it was a fuel system issue, for safety sake they recommended it be towed to their shop, which I figured would need to be done. They provided towing, and off she went. Before the end of the day, she was fixed and ready to roll! Yeah!
