When I am in San Antonio, this is my go-to nail shop. Love it here. I use to be a fan of VN Nails since they had been doing my manis and pedis since I was 16, but after about a year of being unsatisfied, I gave this place a try; and I am glad I did! Every time we go, I am always greeted right away and they tell me about how long I will have to wait if I am not seen right away. The waits can get long, especially on the weekends. They have many options for the pedicures, from basic to a full out spa. I will say that if you get a basic pedicure, they do not spend as much time as they do with the more expensive options, but I also think that's pretty valid. And it is not a "cheese grater" that they use, as someone else called it, but an oversized foot file (you can easily find one at the Sally's in the same shopping center). Neither me nor my daughters have ever had an issue with our manicures from here, except once they cut my daughter's nails a bit too short, which is hardly anything to get overly hyped about (she's 16). I typically get solar nails with the colored powder, but have gotten my nails painted on a few occasions, and have had no issues with my polish. The services are a little more expensive than other locations, but truthfully, sometimes you get what you pay for. They are very accommodating and will fix any issues that are reasonable (and if you're not rude about it). They also have waxing services that are reasonably priced as well. We walked and were acknowledged right away. It took over 25 min for someone to start the pedicure so don't come here if your in a hurry. The water was too hot so they put it to cold. I started to mix cold water with the hot with my foot and the lady yelled at me saying, no no no... You splash everywhere. I wasn't....calm down. When Michael started the pedicure he was friendly and asked my name. I normally go to the Forum nail and pretty satisfied with their service. After having Michael work on my feet, I'm not sure I'll go back to the Forum. EZ nail has better prices and actually spends time giving me a pedicure....not bad! I think I have to give this spot a chance. I give it 4 stars because it didn't look clean, it was cluttered and they took more than 40 min to get to us. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would !!!!! This place is terrible on every occasion. They don't take pride in their work my paint jobs typically look like crap !!! Services are overpriced for the experience!!! I live 3 mins away from this place and I'd rather drive 20 mins to schertz , pay the same and leave satisfied . They get irritated with you if you want basic services !!! Not friendly AT ALL !! The most relaxing part about the pedicures are the massage chairs !!!! Oh and don't have a complaint......they look at you like.....and ???? I hate looking like the hard to please argumentative person in the shop but JEEZ can I get a decent set, dip , manicure ???? This nail salon was close to home, so I gave them a try. They did a good job. The staff was friendly, but didn't talk a lot - which I don't talk a lot either, so that was good for me. The only reason I can't give 5-stars is because the nails weren't even on both hands. Normally, I don't notice little differences in length, but because I type a lot, if there is a medium to significant difference in length, I can feel it. I can here to get a fill, a thumb fixed and my eyebrows done. They messed up the original shape, over charged for everything. Charged 10 for eyebrow waxing and they didn't even know what they were doing and ruined my brows. I would not recommend anyone coming here, you can better yourself read more

First time going to the nail salon I based it off the Yelp reviews and my expectations regarding Nail Care was met. I went in for a acrylic soak removal and the manager / owner took care of me and I had no wait time since I was just a walkin they took me in within the 5 minutes of me sitting down and I would definitely recommend this place and I would go back for sure. read more

The place is clean and in a good area. I have gone several times for two different things, a pedi and a nail fill. If you just want to get by then this is the place. My toe color always chips a few days later at this location. I have had better jobs done however I would have to pay more. I have gone several times to get a pedi and every time there is a 5-10minute however 4 of the chairs are filled by their own employees sitting and playing on their phone or tablet. Another time, one of the employees yelled at my mom for letting my 5 year old child sit in her lap and watch. She said it was not clean for her to sit there in my moms lap. If its not clean for her to sit there then why should we sit there? She handled that wrong, funny thing was the girl who yelled at us was pregnant. They tried smoothing this over by offering us drinks and a free color change. I have done my fill there once. The girl I had was very friendly to myself and my child. However the job was not that great. They felt jagged and not buffed out even though she buffed them. They were okay for both jobs. I will go back because its close and on the cheaper end of salons. The plus is the frequent customer card they give, but they should bring the amount down for how much you have to spend. I have been there about 10 times and have had myself and my child have things done and I STILL have NOT received anything for it. Sooooooo, I came to this nail salon for a full set. I'm new to the northeast and just googled nail salon's and went to the one with the most starts, which was this place, Ez Nails. It's really nice and clean inside, but my nail tech, Paula or Ama (I don't remember her name, but those 2 names were on the card on her desk.) was BEYOND RUDE! Y'all, I have been getting my nails done for over a decade and never have experienced what I did today. The nail on my middle finger was crooked, so I mentioned it to her and she said it would be fixed when she filed my nails, but when she was done filing it was still crooked. The nail itself was placed wrong and that's why it looked off. If I'm gonna pay, I want them to look nice. They don't have to be 150% perfect, but I want them to be nice, but apparently that was just a liiiiiittle too much to ask. I asked if she could fix it and she got sooooo upset and told me that "she didn't want to do my nails anymore and someone else could do them" AND CUT OFF ALL MY NAILS! Every single one of them.... because I asked if she could fix ONE nail. She said she "didn't like the way I looked" and "she couldn't do all my nails the same". I called the lady in the front over and told her what happened. She was extremely nice and apologized and said someone else would do my nails and there would be no charge the soaking off of my nails. (I wouldn't have paid for it anyway!) I told her I would rather go somewhere else. Then the lady who was doing my nails came back with the bowl and again told me that she didn't want to do my nails. I told her she was RUDE and that she needed to work on her customer service skills. I mean, I don't know about y'all, but going to get my nails done is usually a nice little break from my full time job of being a stay at home mother of 4, but today was a whole different experience. As a cosmetology student, we're taught to make the customer feel comfortable and give them what they're asking for... well at least try. Was it too much to ask to fix one nail? Lol, I think NOT! She's lucky I have Jesus in my heart, cause if not, I would have jumped over the table and smacked her upside her head like I wanted to. This is the worst and I mean worst nail place!!! First it's dirty .. The bathroom was filthy floors were dirty! Then they rushed my elderly mother's pedicure when she really looks forward to the relaxation! my sister who I brought here when she was visiting from NYC.. And I manicure were horrible. They had bubbles in the paint and when asked to fix them they just kept adding nail polish and nail polish which made it worse. My 9 year old could have done a better job. Also I had just taken off a nail set and she painted over a piece that was left on the nail. Instead of cleaning them and buffing it off.. When we asked for our money back they refused.! I have never had such horrible service ! I will be finding a new place !! Only go there if you expect crappy service ! read more

Im new to Texas and this nail salon was right down the street from my house so I figured I'd treat myself. I went in for a Gel mani and spa pedi. I felt it was rude that the staff didn't talk to me the entire time the whole shop was speaking in their language while ignoring me the customer and the chick doing my mani kept forgetting to turn on the gel light I had to keep reminding her and the lady doing my pedi was really rough when she took out my nails I almost cried. As soon as I got home the polish on my big toe came off. I'm sorry but I will not be returning my toes hurt still and it's about 2 weeks since I went. My total was $70! I moved here from Southern California and the same job was only $45-$50 and they did a better job. Don't waste your time or money here. read more

This is the closest nail salon to my house, so i figured i'd give it a go. The estheticians were all very friendly. The lady who was doing my nails did a regular gel manicure. I'm not a fan of fake nails, but i like for my polish to be glossy and last longer than usual. Their gel manicures run $35 which is a little on the higher end for applying 5 layers of a few different polishes. But then again, i get the cost probably evens out. The lady doing my nails was very friendly and she was a good gauge of people. She could tell if you wanted to talk or you just wanted to relax. I fall into the latter category, so she let me be. The plus about this salon is that they offer a frequent buyer card. For ever $1 you spend, you get a point. At 300 points or $300, you get a free mani/pedi. I think that's actually pretty reasonable. Today, I went to EZ Nails for a simple manicure with clear polish. I was directed to sit at a nail station. I noticed that a soiled towel with visible nail clippings and I asked for a clean towel. She reluctantly complied. She then placed nail utensils on the clean towel where I noticed that the metal cuticle utensil was soiled with nail glue and had other residue on it. I politely asked could she clean it before using on my nails. She abruptly got up and said she refused to serve me. The manager who was male approached me as I was about to leave. I attempted to explain what happen and I was informed that they had a right to refuse service to anyone. I re-stated that I was only asking for hygienic and clean utensils for the manicure. I never write reviews, however the seriousness of unsanitary practices that I experienced at EZ Nails and their unwillingness to correct the situation compels me to share with the public this experience. If you elect to patronize their business please be aware of the utensils they use may not be clean and you are at-risk for infectious diseases as a result of their unsanitary practice. I plan to also report them to the Texas regulatory agency that provides oversight for nail salons. read more

I was very happy with this salon until the last couple of times. Seems like management is not caring for their customers like they use to. For example, one time the nail technician doing me nails left and didn't tell me she was leaving; I didn't know of she was finished with me or no. that same day the other tech next to her was very rude because she used his fan to dry my nails. He took the fan away and said to use something else; after she left me there. Then another time they assigned someone to do my pedi and nails and while in the middle of doing my pedi an appointment shows up and there's a mix up with the schedules. This wouldn't be so bad; except the person that finished the job didn't do a very good job; I don't even know if he worked there; he was sitting outside in his vehicle. Needless to say; I went to Sky nails today and it was a totally different atmosphere. Too bad for EZ nails I was really happy there for a while. read more
