My kids found this place before me and loved it so I decided to give it a try! I have now had my nails done here several times and been very impressed. Each time my nails have lasted weeks - at least 3 and look fantastic that whole time! They take great care to give you even results, matching up lengths, style and design on each hand! This was my first visit to this business. I came at the recommendation of a friend. I opted for the Jelly pedicure with shellac snd a manicure with shellac. I was greeted by Tiffany's who got me set up in their massage chair and offered me a drink. They had much to choose from from wine to soda. I opted for water on this hot day. The massage chair was just what I needed after spending 8 hours in a classroom training. I was then given a menu with tons of options and scents. I went with the Jelly pedicure which was a unique experience within itself. At one point they pour a packet of lavender powder into the water and the water becomes a thick jelly substance. It smelled and felt amazing on my feet! Then towards the end they add water and a salt mixture and the jelly becomes water again! It was really cool! Ann wound up doing my basic manicure while I was getting a pedicure which made it nice to be done all at once. The staff was friendly and I enjoyed my services. I was visiting family when my cousin and I decided to get our nails done. This was definitely one of the worst experiences I've had. When we first got there everything seemed fine. My cousin and I both wanted to try the jelly pedicure but the nail technician told us that pearl was better. So we listened to him and both got the pearl pedicure. I also got a gel manicure and my cousin got an acrylic fill with gel polish. My pedicure: the callous removal lasted 20 seconds for both feet.. combined, and that is being generous. I know some people don't like it but I do. The guy also used a nail brush on my toes which he subsequently used to scrub the water cover (I'm not sure what it does) on the spa chair. When I saw this I started to question how sanitary this place really was. My manicure: I already had gel polish on my hand so the guy who did my pedicure started the removal with the acetone and foil. By this time the place was starting to get busy. He told me that my nails needed to soak and to wait and he would be back. I thought he was just going to set up the new customers so I said ok, but he never came back. He started doing someone else's pedicure. I was a little annoyed but I thought maybe he doesn't do manicures so I didn't think anything of it. I sat there for about 20 minutes with my fingers in acetone. I was getting a little impatient because it has never taken me that long to soak off gel polish and I didn't feel like anyone was attending to me. The reception guy came to me and told me it took a long time to soak and I told him it really doesn't and I was concerned about the acetone being on my skin for too long. Another man started doing my hands and I felt like he was in a rush. He was aggressively cutting my cuticles and didn't do a clean job. I stopped paying attention to what he was doing cause I knew it would only upset me. When he was done I inspected my nails and almost every nail looked like there were spots (big and small) with missing top coat. I pointed this out to him and he said he didn't know what happened and redid the top coat. When I finished the guy who started my soak-off was doing someone else's manicure... so why did I wait so long? After I left I inspected my nails more thoroughly and my nails weren't filed evenly, there are several fingers where the polish didn't cover the whole nail, cuticles look sloppy, and I had a few cuts. My cousin said the massage for her pedicure felt like he was just rubbing on her legs and her acrylics were sloppy, didn't look clean, and uneven. Learn from our mistake and go else where. read more

They have updated the salon with new furniture, pedicure chairs, the color selections are amazing, and they have any beverage you could ask for including wine. Vana takes customer service seriously, and I've rarely seen a business go so above and beyond for customers that have a legitimate complaint. I have never written a negative review, but after being a customer here at this "spa" I just have to warn people from coming here. Don't waste your money or your time and also the massage chairs were really weak. Now, I may not look like I understand Vietnamese, but I do and in fact I can speak it fluently. This is to the Vietnamese's nail technian's dismay, everytime when I go I'm like a spy. We called ahead and booked an appointment at a certain time and when we showed up, we ended up waiting 30 minutes before our "relaxing" procedure began. Good thing we were on a vacation and not a time crunch, because in total we spent over two hours here! This is an automatic -1 star. Then, I overheard my friend's technian bragging to my technician about how she tricked my friend into getting the more expensive option. They laughed and thought that they were getting away with it but it is very unethical to treat your customers like that. -1 star. Place has poor ventilation. Reeked of ammonia and the music was inaudible. I wish there was music playing because all I heard was the trash talk from the employee. -1 star. Granted, most of them were gossiping about their own personal drama, but still, I didn't like their negative attitude overall. - 1 star. I could go on and on but I can only rate them as low as one star. We payed and even left a generous tip, because money isn't an issue for us, but we did get ripped off and terrible customer service is worth writing a negative review for. read more

I have gone to this place a few times because my daughter had gotten her nails done and liked them. Today I had a $10 coupon off of $50. I got a pedicure and my daughter got a refill. Our total was $80. She wouldn't let me use my $10 off coupon because one of the services wasn't over $50 and I couldn't combine. My daughters refill was $49 lol! So $1 away lol. Let me just start off by saying that this is my first bad review I've ever done. Initially, I want to point out that the service here is the absolute worst. First time I came here, a week ago, the lady that attended me did my nails super fast. TOO fast. It seemed as if she was rushing. She only put two layers of shellac polish on my nails & it was because the other technician sitting next to her was rushing her. After leaving the salon I noticed that my nails looked very splotchy (this was because of the 2 layers it had). It didn't even look like the color that was on the little shellac book. After 5 days I realized that it began to peel off. I made the decision of going back a week later, which was today. After I told the lady what had happened she looked angry. She made me feel like I had done something wrong and she wasn't too happy to fix my nails. If anyone knows good customer service, they know that if there's an unhappy client we treat them with respect and are attentive with them. I'm not going to come here again. I was much more satisfied with the nail salon I went to in McAllen a month ago. Which, by the way, was $25 for shellac and the technician did an AMAZING job. Don't come to this place. I went in for a pedicure, and they started taking off my nail polish and were going to repaint them without any other service that a pedicure has. I believe they were more concerned about seating the folks that arrived since they greeted them right away. Great nail salon with all the newest techniques. Went there to try it and they discovered the dip method of gel nails. I'm a nail biter and a picker. Acrylic nails are so bad for my thin nail beds and gels are not any better. The dip method seems to be working for me and they have an extremely large pallet of color to choose from. I am appalled by the customer service, I came in for my usual fill...everything's great until I go to pay, each time a different technician comes up with a different price. I say whatever and pay anyways however when they go to run my card the guy that did my nails didn't know how to work the machine or it wasn't working properly so he calls a lady technician to help. He thinks he gets it and continues to swipe my card & calls her over again. This is when they tell me that my card is declined because their machine wasn't giving them a receipt. I then check into my USAA app to see if I am charged and I am. I absolutely love this place! They just got new massage chairs for pedicures and the staff is very friendly! They do a fantastic job! If a nail breaks they will fix if for you. I get the SNS dipping and I love it, it's my real nail but they are growing so fast. I have been able to get my nails done every three weeks, sometimes four, depending. They have a very large color choice and will let you know if it would be extra, but the prices are very reasonable. The employees are very accommodating and will have multiple people help if you have time restraints. There is a tv with interesting shows to watch and nice music playing in the background. I have been going to this place for over two years now and I am still receiving a great experience and quality job. It is very clean and they are flexible in what they are able to produce for your nail design/shape wise. They also provide waxing (for multiple parts of the body) if that is desired and ALWAYS offer a beverage for you to enjoy while you relax. The staff is courteous and kind, always. They accept walk ins and appointments. I can not tell you how many times I have had complements on my nails. I absolutely love coming here and having some "me time" while getting my nails done. They have many pedicure options (with a massage chair) and do an amazing job. They will wrap your feet/calves in a warm towel with lotion and the entire experience is amazing.
