DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE USE THIS SALON!!!!!! I have been here a few times for manicures and pedicures with no problem. BUT when I went in yesterday to get my eyebrows waxed my mind about this place completely changed. I have never had that much pain in my life (let me quickly say I am not new to waxing. I have had various areas of my body waxed monthly for the past 10 years. Eyebrows waxed about monthly so this is NOT my first time.) I understand there is pain with it, but nothing like this. The lady put the wax down so low some of it was on my eyelid. It did not feel like it normally does when I get them waxed. Upon leaving my brows were slightly red which is normally for me and goes away in about an hour. Once arriving back to work I noticed a HORRIBLE bruise on my eye. I contacted the salon and called twice before finally speaking to the owner Pow. He said he wanted to see them and to come in. I went back about 24 hours later to show him. He and several ladies got involved and told me the same exact thing. "its normal it happens to everyone with sensitive skin". Which is not AT ALL true. Bruising after a wax is NEVER supposed to happen. They just kept blowing off my concerns. I don't even know if she was licensed to work there since I never saw it. I eventually stormed out of the salon because I was obviously getting no where. I came here because I am new to the area, well turns out my search needs to continue. Came in for a manicure and pedicure but the only thing I left with is severe disappointment.. I came in with my friend to have a girls day they were quick to seat us because they were empty and just when they were beginning on my friends foot The lady doing her feet walked away and the guy that was working on me knew we came in as a pair I finished before her and he rushed me off to do my manicure I asked if I could change colors before he even put any nail polish on my nails and he rolled his eyes and said OK... I asked what kind of nude color they had and he just threw this color at me I asked if it was more of a sheen than actual nail polish and he said it's the nude look.. I should've never gotten my manicure there he kept badgering me about how short my nails were and turns out he didn't clean his hand from painting my toes so not only does my nail polish look this bad only after one day but it was bad to begin with they are red marks from my red toes in my skin is stained from the red nail polish so now when everyone looks at my toes all you see are red marks.. 45$ down the drain on a shitty job read more

So I went in and asked for a deluxe pedicure because I had a coupon and had already had a horrible experience with rt nails. I like designs on my big toes. That time I wanted pumpkins. The tech gave us color wheels to look at. I asked if they could put festive designs on my big toes.. They looked stumped. I said fall leaves for Autumn. Yes they said... As my daughter and I picked out our choice of colors. They were insistent on shellac. I said no that's ok opi will be fine. After they started painting our nails they said shellac pretty right?? What?? Also $17 extra. I had already said no. But they charged us anyway. For $34 I could have bought 6 bottles at Sally's. Very disappointing. Oh and my fall leaves... I have been to this twice to get a French manicure and my eyebrows done. The eyebrows went fine. When it came to the manicure the first time the lady rushes through it and it was uneven and sloppy looking. I went again to give them another chance and the lady on 4 different fingers cut my cuticles so deep on 3 fingers it bled but the 4th one she cut it so deep that now I have a piece of flesh hanging. She wanting to finish the job but at that point my finger was throbbing and I wanted to leave. Not to mention she didn't even use the sterile instruments she was suppose to cut my cuticles with and I didn't notice till I looked to the left and saw them still in the package. I went to pay and I was charged for the full French manicure... I said so I have to pay for the full treatment even though you cut my cuticles so deep I have skin hanging and they said yes. Went for a pink and white set. The smile lines were uneven. You could see my natural nail. I was cut over half a dozen times by the drill and was told to stop moving when I would be cut by it. The tech made bulb shapes on the tips. When I asked for it to be flat and even I was given lots of attitude and told that they would break if they were even. There are several nails with gaps in between my natural nail and the tip that was applied. This is what leads to fungus! I got nothing but attitude. I was never asked the shape or length I wanted on my nails. I have had my nails done for more than 15 years. I have never ever had such a horrible experience. The tech asked for help from the manger and the manager agreed with the techs methods! **went back to voice my concerns again. The manager took a really good look at my nails this time and saw everything I was upset with. She spoke to the tech who then began to argue and blame me for the bad job. The manager stepped in and sent her away. My nails were soaked off and reapplied by the manager free of charge. Three days later my nails have lifted again and have started turning yellow!!!!! read more

First time here and my last. The salon was busy and I felt rushed the entire time like the guy doing my nails was racing. I never got his name because he never spoke to me. He didn't even ask what kind of pedicure I wanted. So I guess I got the cheap one. Also he messed them up and walked off to the next person I had to ask him to fix it( it had color transfer and I know he saw it because he attempted to fix it before and gave up). When I first walked in and was asked what I wanted I responded with I want a new set and she was asked shellac and I said I wasn't sure yet I wanted to look at the colors, the lady technician asked repeatedly if I wanted shellac as if she was kind of pushing it on me . I picked a shellac color I never had it before so why not .everything was okay there was two children hanging in the store I don't mind that to much just wonder if it's safe. There was only two techs works so I had to wait a little longer no biggie. The tech didn't talk to me at all and kind of hurt my fingers unnecessarily twisting them in weird directions while filing them down. The files and buffers were an old dusty alto id can and she didn't sterilize them after the client before me Anyways I didn't have a chance to look at the nails until I left, the shape was uneven and the tips was flimsy and the color was patchy and thicker in some areas the sides on all of the nails didn't have polish, then I noticed the letter " J" I wanted on my ring fingers was written BACKWARDS !!! Save your money ! I have been here a few times for the shellac pedicure and have had amazing results... I went in for shellac pedicure less than 4 days ago and polish is already peeling off.. the pedicure itself was also poorly done. Unfortunately, tech put a lot of oil on my legs and feet it appeared to be really good job.. next day pedicure spoke for itself... it sucked and my nails were not entirely painted... I'm really disappointed at the less than stellar job... and I'm out of $55 .. it isn't worth coupons on back of HEB coupons.. especially when you figure there were 2 patrons in business..myself and my sister... her pedicure was alright... She was quick, efficient and double checked her work. Pushed the cuticles all the way up, trimmed and filed my nails the way I asked and polish was applied over the entire nail with no spots. I have been going here since BAO opened this salon last year and received wonderful customer service! Since he sold out....this place has gone to hell in a handbasket! The nail techs are rude, and impersonal. When I spend $70 for a nail and pedicure I expect to be treated with respect! Today all the workers there did nothing but talk in Vietnamese and laugh among themselves!. Never once did they engage in conversation with not only me but none of the other women there getting their nails and toes done. I WON'T be back. The lady that waxed my brows was in such a hurry that she did a very poor job. My brows are very light and I commented on that fact before she started thinking that she would pay attention. NOT!! She spent like 10 seconds on each brow and even left wax on my left one. Yes, she gave my the mirror to look in but I couldn't see the bad job until I got home and the redness was gone.. The is the 2nd place I have scratched off my list.
