I came in here to off-load an old handgun I no longer used. Customer service was courteous and on-point. Don't let the exterior dissuade you from stopping by. It definitely doesn't look inviting or official from out there. It seems to blend right in with some of the other more run-down looking South Blvd. parking lots and businesses. Naturally they had to put up barbed wire fencing here. As with any pawn shop they have a wide selection of mostly used tools, musical instruments and electronics. There are quite a few long guns and some hand guns. Even several compound bows. Jewelry is of course there too. I felt their initial prices on most items were rather high but I'm sure it's because they will always negotiate. On the topic of negotiating, I tried to negotiate the sell price of my handgun but they wouldn't offer more than their first offer. This was about 35% of what the gun sells for used these days online. I'm sure they'll try to sell it for a bit more than that. I didn't want to bother with navigating the bombed out parking lots for another pawn shop so I just took the offer. I'm going to own this place. I pawned a perfectly working cameo silhouette vinyl cutter for only $30 & my maturity date is on Sunday. They clearly aren't open Sunday's according to Google. So either I'm able to remove my $300 item from this shop tomorrow or court will decide the rest. Oh yeah & the maturity date its tomorrow. Time ticks. read more

this place has rubbed me so wrong that I actually am writing my first yelp review......They had / have a pistol for sale.....a beat up colt king cobra.....advertised in their showcase for $899.00 ...... they told me three weeks ago that they would take $720.00 cash out the door. I called today to ask if they still jhad it and the guy on the phone says "oh....I have a king cobra on my desk but I haven't priced it yet." So im thinking they have another one in, different from the beat up one.......he takes my number and someone else calls me back a couple hours later and says "ok we got you a price....$1299.00" I say ok well ill look at it when I come back for the other one....and then I find out we are talking about the same gun.. I tell the man...."you told me I could have the gun for $720.00 cash are you going to honor the price and he says ....NO.....you should have bought it three weeks ago!" What kind of moron says that to a customer? What kind of moron adds $500.00 to the price of a gun that clearly has sat in the showcase for over a month and no one bought! I collect and deal Colts...and even a brand new in the box king cobra stainless wouldn't bring much more then $1300.00, this one didn't have a box and was in ROUGH shape....I would have rated it POOR. EZ pawn has hired a manager that literally is one of those people who get online and see peoples ridiculous asking prices of items and thinks that his are worth that much...even though nothing is selling for that price.... hes asking more than high NEW IN THE BOX retail for a beat to crap gun......I mean really dude? How about honoring your prices....or pricing things rights the first time. So many issues with this deal.... one he clearly knows nothing about guns, two he knows nothing about customer service, three he knows nothing about internet prices VS what things are actually worth.....Please fire this guy if you own this place....he is running your business into the ground. read more
