We paid for the time to figure that out plus one more mover added 45 mins later. They were quick, but clearly, 2 of the 3 movers had little experience and were really not up for the heavy lifting. They rushed through everything and were reluctant to put things anywhere but the garage. To be honest, I did not WANT them bringing more into the house because they were getting careless. In the end, we had A LOT of broken items. We had a number of heirlooms that were shattered, not cracked, shattered. They even managed to completely shatter an entire case of glass jars that were still in their original box, as safe as could be possible. This only could have happened if a stack of boxes fell over in the truck. I moved 4 houses this year already. These were the most inexperienced and least customer focused as well as the most costly yet.

The "customer service" (office staff) here is the worst I've seen. Rude, short, & just plain…read moremean. Problems with the access code? Don't bother to call "customer service". Billing issues? Easier to spit into the wind. Want to close your account? Be ready to be accused of lying about the condition of your unit, because they ask all kinds of questions & then go check it to see if you were telling the truth. Oh, and you have to wait outside in the hot sun, or rain, while they check your unit. No waiting in the office.... Maybe you could steal a pen??? The worst I've ever experienced.

I thought I could trust them, as it's their job to keep my stuff safe. As it turns out I was very very wrong. I don't think the security of paying customers belongings is very important to them as I found out when someone broke into my storage unit thru the ceiling and stole or destroyed many of my things. Someone was in my storage unit for several hours going thru box's at their own leisure finding things to take. Yeon mini storage is an indoor storage facility and someone got inside the building then climbed on top of the storage units and cut thru the ceilings which are made of chicken wire and were then free to take what they pleased. Did Yeon mini storage pay for the lost items? Of coarse not. Did they even apologize? Of coarse not. My unit was not the only one broken into, and I am not sure what they have done to make the building more secure since then, but someone there told me they added more security camera's. I guess this way they can watch the video of the crooks walking out with customers belongings. I realize there are a lot of criminals out there who are very clever when it comes to stealing but as a storage facility you your number one priority should be keeping customers belongings safe, and if you can't do that you have no business even existing.

This is both a review of the PODS facility in Clackamas, OR, as well as a review of PODS in…read moregeneral. First, a shout-out to Chris Harle, forklift/warehouse, at the Clackamas, OR, location for his genuinely friendly attitude and all of his help. He made picking up our items at the destination for two separate moves so much easier and less stressful. THANK YOU CHRIS! And to PODS for taking such great care of our stuff going from one end of the country to the other. The move before this saw our stuff being transferred to several different carriers and their trucks - resulting in lost boxes, ruined items, long delays, and up-charges at every turn. But with PODS everything arrived at the destination in perfect order. Our only minor complaint was that, even though we told them exactly where to ship our POD and to do so immediately, it sat in the originating warehouse for an additional month which cost more for storage. But I would absolutely use their service again!
