[[HIGHLIGHT]]i had specific instructions for my move both to the rep on the phone (xavier he's great) and to them directly. all were not really cared for properly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I should have just gotten my friends and a uhaul to move, but i was promised it would take 5hrs. i was billed 5.5hrs. tip top of the money i had left. and they didn't even have time to move everything. why? because their recklessness with my things i didn't want them carrying my computer monitors. they were hired to pack and move stuff across portland. [[HIGHLIGHT]]they came at 1:30 when they said only to tell me that they didn't know they needed all the packing stuff. they eventually arrived nearly 2hrs later and towards the END Of the original window i was promised without any 'hey we will be there at this ETA'[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]they said they got stuck behind a train, which is fine i guess? but no update after that until i called and complained, which got me a 5% discount, which is nice i guess?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but like everything that happened after were MASSIVE red flags, both for the computer and the 'movers' which felt like contractors they just hired for whatever without properly vetting. i had a small move, 2 rooms. they were the slowest movers and most reckless movers i've ever hired. but i don't really blame them fully for that. supposedly they were working since 8am and just drove up from salem or something. they didn't even eat lunch. is that even legal?! no wonder they came to the door exhausted already and out of it. These 2 guys did the best they could, but honestly with how exhausted I was from helping them (something i SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD TO DO), they were doing a good job, but that doesn't really matter. In the end this guy ruined my $2000 custom built standing desk for music. not sure if i can get it repaired or fixed. he undid it and said he will put it back together. it was pretty easy just a few bolts into the joints between the wooden top and the legs and putting on the keyboard tray. easy stuff for the most part (when you have a drill, i don't own one). this guy didn't even look at where he was drilling or understand how the desk was put together after showing him specific things. he just drilled in the bolts and they hit a part that they're supposed to go into but was put in backwards making it impossible (on purpose) to get the screw in. this guy just kept drilling harder and harder and when i asked him about it he was like yeah it's supposed to sound like that. He either was so exhausted he couldn't think straight or just took on tasks he could have said 'yeah i don't know how to do that, can you do it?' either way now i have a broken desk that's only partially built and put together. i am really glad i moved all of my expensive stuff to my place with a friend last weekend, because they definitely would have broken a lot of very expensive things! I also gave them a mattress cover to put on the mattress, and they struggled doing that. You are movers wtf?! i zipped it up about half way and moved on. Then when we got to my new place they didn't even use it and put the mattress on the pavement to get a better angle or something. like what was the point in bringing it?! They also dropped a bunch of precious memories i had in a bin in a bin, they said they took them out because the outer bin couldn't close (bs). They were holding it open wrapped around their arm and i asked them to close it as it doesn't look secure and he said it would be fine, then immediately drops it with pictures and papers dropping on the ground and getting dirty. Anyway this all just happened. and there's no way I can live in my new place due to the lack of time they afforded to me to actually place things in the right spot. At least my bed is in the right spot. luckily for now i am in a short term rental because my last place had mold and why I am moving. i am highly allergic and being there as long as i did, both to wait for them to show up and how slowly they worked on loading the truck, I am feeling sick again because of it. The estimate was low balled to say the least because these guys move at a snails pace because this company overworks them and treats likely their staff like crap. these are probably more desperate people looking for an easy pay day. one guy was like 'i worked 4 days this month' and the other one worked 6 days in a row. a 12 hr day without a break outside of driving (which isn't a break) isn't really fair or legal? I paid nearly 1k for this move, and you can't afford to give these people a proper break between moves? I'm sure they weren't making nearly enough either. Lastly they pressured me to sign a thing at the end of the receipt that says everything was delivered intact, which i didn't sign. Anyway go with another company, not worth the risk. I didn't have another weekend to do this move as i need to have a livable space and that takes time as well. Anyway the movers were careless, slow, expensive, and ignored instructions. read more

If you read one thing from this review, it's this: do not hire All Service Moving unless you're willing to risk unexpected charges, damaged belongings, and a company that refuses to stand behind its work. We provided a complete inventory of our home and were quoted for one truck. Your team spent an entire day packing our home and never once mentioned there was a capacity issue. It wasn't until the very end of moving day, after everything had already been packed and loaded and we had no meaningful opportunity to make another decision, that we were told we needed to pay for a second truck. As a result, it ultimately required two trucks to remove our belongings from storage, effectively doubling the cost we had been led to expect. Unfortunately, the handling of our belongings was even more concerning. During move-out from All Service Moving's warehouse, numerous damaged items were identified and photographed. We also documented furniture stored directly against other furniture with little or no protection, exposed boxes, and delicate items packed and stored in ways that unnecessarily increased the risk of damage. As we continued unpacking, we found additional examples of improper packing, despite paying All Service Moving to professionally pack our home. Wardrobe boxes were not used for hanging clothing--the hanging bars were never used, and clothing and shoes were piled throughout the boxes. Delicate lamp shades were packed with dirty outdoor items. Clothing was packed alongside a floor cleaner and a greasy kitchen rack. Fragile decorative branches were packed without protection and arrived broken. These were not isolated mistakes. They reflected a consistent pattern in how our belongings were packed, stored, and handled. Despite photographs documenting both the damage and the way our belongings were packed and stored while in All Service Moving's warehouse, the company has never taken responsibility. We spent months trying to resolve this privately before writing this review. During that time, we repeatedly provided documentation, waited through postponed discussions, and requested the documents supporting the company's position. Those documents were never produced, and All Service Moving never took responsibility for the damage. Moving is one of the largest expenses and most stressful experiences many people will go through. When you hire a moving company, you're trusting them with everything you own. We expected our belongings to be handled with care and, if something went wrong, for the company to stand behind its work. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'll start off by saying that the people that handle the the scheduling are lovely. Enrique made me feel like he had my back and I was so happy to get a mover in such short notice to get my mom's room more home-y in her assisted living facility.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The move was three blocks. The items moved were simply: A large dresser, a queen sized bed they disassembled and put back together, a night stand, an entry table, a freestanding coat rack, two paintings and a mirror. No boxes. The damage they inflicted from their carelessness in such a short period of time was breathtaking. I've added photos of where they just dragged the dresser out without taped drawers and they all came out and one carved a significant slash into the wall. A small desk was left with new scratches on it as well. Upon reassembly of the bed they split the wood along the exterior of the side panel. I've attached some photos of damage and receipt where he wrote in "CASH!!! " and made the total $100 more. The company did not charge me this. He just rage wrote it. There were two movers. The lead one clearly hates his job, myself or both and let that be known upon arrival. I accepted the move before they left because I was not about to complain to someone this angry. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only reason I checked the receipt was because he called to tell me that the moving company didn't save my payment method and he needed it. I thought this was odd and told him i didn't have the credit card on me and would call the main office. We had moved with this company before. The latest move being very unsatisfactory. We had an IKEA bed that was a Malm model. Somehow on the move into our new place they lost our specialized hardware that puts the bed back together. After reaching out to them via phone to tell the company of our predicament, we were told that the truck that moved us would be given the once over. Nothing was found. After trying to ask them what are they going to do about it we were told they would get back to us. No call was made so I called them a couple more times and the last person I spoke with said he would check the truck again and get back to me. No return call was made. So we ended up having to order the hardware pieces online with IKEA and it was two weeks before the necessary parts arrived. This meant we had to sleep on the mattress at floor level with all the bed frame parts and drawers around us for those two weeks. It was more than disappointing, to say the least, that the company didn't offer any compensation for putting us out. Especially since we paid the rate of $1113.75 and tipped the crew of two $100. Not only were we ignored, the company did not once apologize or say they were sorry. The next morning the driver came by to pickup his tool kit that he had forgotten. He arrived at 9am and we went to sort the bed shortly afterwards to then discover the parts were not to be found. Had I known earlier, I might not have returned the tool kit to him. Also two of the drawers that go under the bed were broken. The crew acknowledged that they handled the hardware so we know they had it and they would be responsible for this. My feeling was that the hardware was tossed when the truck was cleaned and they didn't bother to apologize or make amends to us for our two weeks sleeping on the floor. I left a poor review on their own site after this and never heard anything back from them so this is why I am posting it on Yelp review. I only gave a rating of two stars because of how we were satisfied with our previous move. However, it would've been only one star if this had been our first move with ASM. read more

These folks did not do a site visit, even though I warned them they may not be able to get a truck near the house. A crew of two arrived promptly. After spending 45 minutes trying to maneuver the truck in, they went back to their warehouse for a different truck, which still couldn't pull in. When 95% of my stuff was loaded, they said the truck was "pretty much full," so they just left the remainder with no plan to arrange for it. I fought with the company and they eventually agreed to get my things a few days later. Even though I had boxes all packed so they just had to load, it took 3 of them from 10:30-5:15 to move me 1.5 miles away, all while the clock was ticking. Their manager said they're all tired and on OT so they move slowly. Not OK read more

We hired this company July 10 2025 to move us from Milwaukie OR to Happy Valley OR. We now have a broken Weber Grill (will not work due to bent valves), a lot of badly damaged furniture, and two lamps that are "missing". We also had a lot of damage to walls and trim paint at both houses where they ran things into them. There were boxes that arrived that had obviously dropped that we were not told about (and items in them badly damaged). Our queen bed has a lot of damage and both nightstands have dents and scrapes. Our piano has several knicks in one side of it. Our garage fridge has a large scrape in the enamel. We had to pay $900 to have a room repainted due to a gouge in a wall made by them. One of a set of two twin beds is badly gouged everywhere. Boxes were stacked on end, upside down, in wrong rooms, with no regard for fragile stickers or room labels. To date (two months later) this company has not offered us any settlement. We will attach just a few photos of the damages. None of this damage was brought to our attention but certainly they had to be aware of a lot of it. Please think twice before letting this company move your furniture! read more

I cannot recommend this moving company on any level! They ignored my instructions, did a very poor job of marking boxes with the contents or where they came from, and then just threw my belongings seemingly randomly into my storage unit, putting heavy boxes high up and on top of more fragile and less heavy boxes. I was recently forced to move out of my home of twenty years on a very short three day notice. Due to this very short notice I was unable to get new accommodations to live in, and had to store my belongings until a new home was found. My siblings came to help and my brother decided to acquire a moving company to pack and transport my belongings to a storage facility in SE Portland. All Services Moving was able to do the job on short notice, so they were hired. They arrived on the scheduled day, at the prescribed time of 9:30AM. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Lead introduced me to the team and asked me to show him what all needed to be packed and moved. I showed him everything and gave clear instructions on what I wanted done[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I explained what things were to go and what was to stay behind. I explained what items I needed quick access to from the storage facility, and asked that these items be near the from of the storage. I felt confident he had listened and would handle my belongings with professionalism and care. The final outcome was anything but professionalism or any form of care. [[HIGHLIGHT]]First I told the lead that I wanted to pack and move my computer system myself, so I could be sure where it and all the components would be in one place, easily found for reassembly after I found a new place. The Lead did not seem to like this idea and protested a great deal, telling me I would need to sign a waiver to do this. I had no problem signing a waiver, but none was ever offered to me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. As it turned out they boxed and moved my computer without telling me, but they left the display monitor behind on the living room floor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once they were offloading the truck into the storage I reiterated that I wanted all the computer system items up front and with ready accessibility, this request was ignored completely.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The boxes with my computer system items were offloaded early and place in the very back, and highly inaccessible, area of the storage. After I saw this I asked again to have all the computer items moved into a more accessible area, but was once again ignored. As it turns out I had to dig through the entire 10x30 storage unit to retrieve my computer system, which took a great deal of effort on my part. Another problem was the poor marking of the boxes, requiring me to open almost every box to see if I needed what was inside for my new residence. The movers also piled many heavy boxes on top of other less heavy boxes causing some boxes to be crushed. When I needed to go through the storage unit to find things I needed, once I had acquired a new residence, I was confronted with many very heavy boxes of books piled high above my reach, causing a great deal of effort and strain to move them down to a more accessible area. It just seemed like as they unloaded my belongings into the storage unit all they wanted to do was get my stuff out of their truck and get home, regardless of what happened to my belongings. It seemed to me that they just tossed my belongings willy-nilly into the storage unit, with an uncaring attitude, as long as they could get out as quickly as possible. read more
