Her patience and calm demeanour not only helped me learn how to drive in California and pass the test, but also how to manage my anxiety in taking the test and on the road, so much so that I almost regret passing cause now our driving lessons are in the past. I took about 6-8 lessons over 4-6 months and used their vehicle for the driving test. I would recommend taking 2-4 lessons and then consulting with your driving instructor about how many more you may need, as it depends on each person. Book lessons far in advance cause they're popular! And space out as needed to afford them financially, and if possible, practice with a personal vehicle in between lessons.

I had a very important DMV appointment, and their office somehow failed to log it altogether -- even though they had no problem taking my payment right away. When I called to confirm the appointment, I was told there was no record of it. Instead of owning up to their mistake, Kenya gave me attitude and offered nothing useful except to "reschedule." The issue was entirely on their end, yet she acted like she was doing me a favor. I asked to speak to Edward, the so-called manager, and of course, he couldn't be bothered to talk to me. He had his secretary handle it instead -- who clearly had no authority and offered a bunch of useless, unacceptable suggestions that didn't help at all. I eventually had to resolve the situation myself -- something they should have handled from the start. Luckily, there happened to be another driver at the DMV at the time, or I would've been completely out of luck. This entire operation is unprofessional from top to bottom. They lack communication, accountability, and basic customer service skills. Kenya was rude, Edward hid behind his staff, and nobody took responsibility for their own mistake. If your appointment actually matters, do NOT trust this business. They will take your money, mess up your schedule, and then blame you for their incompetence. They pair you up with an instructor, whom you know nothing about, and of course I want to avoid a "bad" teacher as much as possible -- but there's nothing in their website that makes me feel at ease about deciding on a location/instructor! Happy to report everything went great though. Longer version: I took the Level 2 lesson as a first time stick shift driver. I first booked with an instructor that wasn't actually available that weekend, and the office was super quick to reschedule and set me up with another instructor. First great impression. However, my instructor, Aaron Jack, was truly who made this experience world class. Aaron was hospitable and welcoming since the beginning, and a pro through the 3 hour lesson. He was encouraging, patient, and calm (which obviously are huge when you're intimidated as hell not knowing how to drive stick), constantly saying things like "it's totally okay man!" whenever I stalled.
