I've never written a bad review before. I brought my iPhone 6 here to switch out the screen due to it being cracked. The original screen lasted me 6 years! After I brought the phone here it started to overheat and battery drain significantly. Plus, I dropped it 1 time with a glass cover and phone protector and the screen is cracked again. Please read entirely. I originally called Orange County PC Repair in Laguna Niguel to help fix an issue with my PC. Here was my issue. I installed a new GPU and did not have the correct PSU to power it so I replaced it with my old one which was working. I could not get it past the black screen and "preparing automatic repair". I called and spoke with Mike. He said he'd take a look at it but to bring it down to their Laguna Hills location, EZ Wireless. I brought it down (Monday) and paid my $49 service fee. I explained the situation and he said he'll call me in an hour. An hour passes and no call so I give it some time. First update was that he is flashing my memory and reloading windows. He'll call me in an hour when its done. I said perfect. I called to follow up. He said the computer just shut down and he said that I possibly shorted something in the PSU. He asked if I unplugged my PC before working on it. I did. He says it's not turning on so you'll need a new PSU. He wanted to sell me a Cosair Gold 850w for $180 installed. I figured why not, I need one for my new GPU. He said it would be here the next morning. He also mentioned he would call me in the morning. The next day (Tuesday), I called late in the morning and Mike said that it would be here at 1pm and he would call me. He also stated instead of the Cosair Gold 850w he would install a PowerSpec 650w and save me some money. I figured cool. That's fine. I called at at 2:30pm or something like that and he said that there is a bunch of wires and it's going to take some time before they can get it running. It'll be available the next morning. He said things like "this can't be rushed". I'm a patient guy so I said fine. At about 3:30pm I get a call from Mike. He said the computer won't boot and recommended a new motherboard and CPU. He recommended a Ryzen 5 CPU. I cant remember the motherboard, but he was asking $600-$700. I said no and I will be by to pick up my computer. Keep in mind, my computer was able to boot up to a black screen but stalled. During my drive, he sent me a text saying he has parts for the computer for $400. I ignored it as I was on my way to EZ Wireless. I arrived to the shop and the computer was on the floor. He said sorry and pointed to the computer. I went to pick it up I noticed a screw was missing so I asked for it. He brought it from the back and I put it back on to secure the panel. I placed the computer on my front seat of my car and flipped it where I can see through the clear panel. I noticed my ram was missing. I went back in and said I'm missing it and again he went into the back and grabbed it. I installed it. I took it home and tried to troubleshoot it myself. I plugged my PC back in to see if it will turn on. It did. Not a PSU issue. But now it's not recognizing a drive. I never had this issue before...so I went in to take a look and noticed they didn't connect the power to my hard drive. So I connected it and boom it recognized the driver. Now I'm back to square one. It won't load past the black screen with the blue windows. I gave it a day and I returned back to it (now Wednesday). Did some adjustments in the BIOS and then the computer booted back up. Memory is wiped but now it's working! I hate to write negative reviews but this place deserves it. They tried to SCAM me into a new computer that I did not need. No way! I have basic understanding of computers and know when to trust my gut when things don't seem right. Please avoid Mike at EZ Wireless aka Orange County PC Repair in Laguna Niguel. He'll try to sell you a computer you don't need or repairs that are unnecessary. And not properly put your computer back together. read more

I was unfortunately referred here by uhaul since they were an authorized dealer. To my dismay, the truck that I have reserved was not returned in time. The guy that I was talking to made it seem like it always happens and it was uhaul's fault not theirs. Even if it wasn't their fault I don't appreciate is how rude he was. He kept raising his voice at me and talked to me with an annoyed tone. The LEAST that he could do was be accommodating and helpful to resolve the issue. I asked for my options and he was very dismissive. Mind you, I was polite the whole time not once did I raise my voice and he had the nerve to talk to me with that demeanor. He gave me the wrong number of another branch and told me I should just google it then just left to go to the back and told me to sort my things out. Judging from the comments this was not the first occurrence. Save yourself a trip and just go somewhere else. The pictures of the truck we picked up were from too far and barely showed any of the dings or scratches. We had to take more of our own pictures when we picked up. The gas showed 1/4 more of a tank than it actually had. We took a pic and added it. When we dropped it off we put how much gas the picture showed just to be safe. When we dropped it off we put the keys in the Dropbox. We didn't realize that we were supposed to take pics again of the gas at drop off. They charged us for gas, even though we dropped it off with more gas than when we picked it up. If you have to pick up a uhaul from this location I'd recommend trying to get a different pick up location. read more

Went the extra mile to make it right. I shopped around for a replacement screen for my Google Nexus 5x, and EZ-TECH came up as my best option for price ($95) and for reviews nearby. They ordered a screen and the next day I dropped my phone off for a couple hours to get it fixed. Unfortunately, when we turned it on it was clear there was an issue. There was a green line through the screen, and I had an international trip the next morning - there was no time to get another screen ordered in. On my trip, the faulty screen went from bad to worse, making the phone inoperable. I had to have it repaired out of country so I'd have a phone to use, and never got the faulty screen back. When I returned, I called EZ-TECH for a refund. They were in a tough spot because without the screen, they're out of pocket for the $58 screen. They offered to refund the labour price via check - fair, given the circumstances. However, the cheque arrived with a nice note, and a full refund for the entire price. I brought my iPhone in for a screen replacement and the very first day the screen stopped working. I came in the next day to get a replacement and the newly replaced screen looks and works just fine. HOWEVER THIS ONE BROKE DOWN ON ME JUST A FEW DAYS LATER! This time the owner refused to replace it for me cuz he told me that the screen does not have the security sticker and they are not able to fulfill the service. The screen was replaced but the home button DOES NOT WORK. Why would anyone fix the screen and not have the home button work??? I cannot unlock my phone with my thumb nor cannot use it properly. To top it off the color on the screen is off. They have RUINED my phone. The guy gave me my phone and said the software was updating so I was not able to check it out soon as he handed it back. He walked out the door right behind me. Their store sign stated they close at 7pm, but he left at 6:30pm when I left. I highly recommend EZ Tech to anyone who needs a quick phone fix. I had shattered my iPhone 4 screen and came here to get the glass replaced; I only had a short half hour wait and then was out the door with the phone and a new screen protector as well for only $55 -- the cheapest that I found in Orange County. Later, I noticed that there was an odd blue tint/reflectiveness to the screen and called them up to ask about it because I had seen reviews warning of low quality glass screens from other repair places that refused to replace them; EZ Tech explained that it must have come from a bad batch, and had me come in later the same day to replace the screen again from a new batch for no charge! Had the original screen not been bad, I would've given 5 stars, but don't let the missing star fool you,the customer service here is incredible.
