This clever lady showed my iphone getting poor charge, about 16 months ago, was due to "water damage with erosion" on a big screen under magnification of microscope, the part needed to replaced, charge $99 and offered a life time warranty , I was so impressed , lisened to her and paid the fee, she gave me the old part as a proof . The problem recurred a few weeks ago with burning on the charger tip; she showed me again the charger part got "erosion" and claimed it was a " water damage " again , that excluded the life time warranty ! She blamed me the arguement not admitting the water damage. She would charge $80 , a discount, yet could not replace the part right away. I got a second opinion immediately and noted the charging remains working , and was advised to visit APPLE directly. I got repeated diagnostic tests at APPLE and was told the charging part is not a problem without erosion nor water damage , can be due to the charging cable from the third party and the battary issue. APPLE diagnostic tech said it is not supposed to open the iphone to replace the part inside, that needs to be done by APPLE , also the old part she gave to me was not clear an APPLE part at all . In summary , this clever lady like a genius on iphone , can be a lier and would show your iphone charger got erosion from water damage , watch out ! Even APPLE does not charge $99 to replace the charger. read more

I have had two experiences with this business and both have been exceptionally good! First, I needed to replace the battery on my 2019 Macbook Air. I tried going to the Apple Store at the Irvine Spectrum but surprisingly, they do NOT carry this part in stock! How bizarre. I was told to leave my computer with them and return a week later to retrieve it. No, thank you. I called More Than A Fix the next day, dropped off my Macbook in the morning, and everything was finished 4 hours later. The second purchase was to replace a cracked screen on my daughter's iPhone 14. Again, the repair was complete same-day and took about 4 hours. What a great find! I feel so lucky that I called More Than a Fix - you never know when surfing the internet, but this is a trustworthy tech repair shop!!! I was ready to just drop off my computer to have the battery replaced. When I arrived, Monse must have had a lull and did not have to, but took the time to replace the battery in my work laptop. 10 minutes! I had a bad experience with another repair shop that had over 400 supposed 5 star reviews. So thought I would try again. Went to More Than a Fix and agreed on a less expensive option. When the less expensive option was not going to work, they repaired the iPad with the more expensive option. They said they didn't want to have me come back unnecessarily. When I offered to pay a little of the increased cost, they refused to take it! They did not solicit any review, just a honest, kind, and professional small business.
