He shared a personal story about how his own wife had been rear-ended, which helped reassure her that her feelings were completely normal. That simple act of kindness made a huge difference. Juan made sure we were safely out of harm's way, clearly explained what the next steps would be, answered all of our questions, and gave us practical advice about what to expect. He was informative, patient, and communicated everything in a way that was easy to understand. He also went above and beyond when we realized two sets of golf clubs were locked in the trunk of the damaged vehicle. I couldn't figure out how to access it, but Juan took the time to open the trunk through the back seat so we could retrieve the clubs for my brother and sister. Absolutely terrible experience with this towing company in Van Nuys. They also operate under the company name Moe'z towing. My car was towed from a parking area near a bank and I was forced to pay $544 just to get my vehicle back after it had been sitting there for only a few hours. The price is outrageous and completely disproportionate to what actually happened. The entire process felt extremely predatory. It's hard not to feel like these companies are just waiting for someone to park a little too long so they can tow the car and charge hundreds of dollars. There was almost no transparency about the fees, and the final amount was shockingly high for something that took them minutes. On top of that, the experience at the tow yard was unpleasant and stressful. No clear explanations, no real help, just a massive bill you're forced to pay if you want your own car back. Situations like this make it very clear how aggressive and unforgiving private towing can be in this area. If you park anywhere near lots monitored by this company, be extremely careful -- a simple mistake can cost you hundreds of dollars instantly. I had to request roadside assistance through my insurance. After waiting about 2 hours. EZ towing showed up. This company engages in predatory towing practices and extortion. Before even checking my insurance information,they loaded my vehicle onto a flatbed. then he said your car is not covered and we can't collect our fee from your insurance. The driver then demanded an outrageous $500 to tow the car just five miles to my home. I agreed to pay him and he said I will see you by your destination address. When I asked for a moment to verify coverage with my insurance, the driver aggressively took my keys, peeled away at high speed with my car to their tow yard, and held my vehicle hostage until next day. To make matters worse, both the driver and the management ( Fred ) at the tow yard were incredibly rude, disrespectful, and completely unprofessional when we went to retrieve the car. In the end, they held my car until I paid an exorbitant $1,200 fee just to get it back. This business is unethical, unsafe, and completely predatory. Avoid them at all costs. read more

This was unexpected because I regularly use the same card without any issues, including for high-value purchases, and I have never had problems with it before.
