My roadside assistance provider assigned BenDave as a provider for me when I got 2 flat tires. Shortly after, when I received the ETA, I called them to let them know we might have an issue with the timing as I was told the dealership closes at 9 and locks their gates. At first they sounded helpful and said they would see what options they had, and we ended the call cordially. I got an automated call about 5 minutes later that they were cancelling the roadside assistance. I was given the option to decline the cancellation, which I did. I then tried to call them with new information that I'd received directly from the dealership that I would be able to drop my car off regardless. They did not pick up my calls, and I found out about 30 minutes later that they cancelled the tow anyway. Overall poor communication, not there to help, while creating a false sense of hope. David (the driver) arrived in under 20 minutes--faster than I expected for rush hour. He was super friendly, explained everything clearly, and even offered to test the battery before towing. Turns out the battery was totally dead, so he towed me to my mechanic a few miles away without any hassle. What really stood out: the flatbed truck was clean, he wore a uniform, and he even had water bottles in the cab for stranded drivers. I was almost side swiped by driver who was speeding. I'm not sure why. He was towing a car, so hopefully, that person's car gets to its destination. But it was scary as a passenger seeing this tow truck cutting us off on my side, and my driver had to quickly step on the brakes while on the freeway. No company should allow their drivers to drive almost 90 mph. (I know it was almost 90mph because we were going 80mph.) Especially while towing someone's car. At least the car was on a flatbed. I did call the company right away. The man asked if it was a specific color truck. I told him yes. He said he knew exactly who it was and that he would talk to him. So I cant believe my experience with this tow service. It's 1am and I am in a rental car and have a flat tire with no spare. I call the roadside assistance and they tell me BenDave towing will be there at the latest 90 minutes from now but it should be sooner. An hour later a tow truck pulls up and I'm like that wasn't so bad. He pulls in front of my car I get out and started packing my stuff because the rental company informed me he would take the car and I would have to find another way home. I'm done and look up and he hasn't gotten out of the truck. Then I kid you not he drives off. I call roadside assistance which in turn calls BenDave and they say the tow truck driver had been followed by another tow truck earlier in the evening and he didn't feel safe doing any jobs in that area of town!! I said your client called you and sent you all of my information so you know it's a legit call. Can he come back. He said let me call and ask. Twenty minutes later no call so I called him and he says I'm sorry but he doesn't feel comfortable doing the job. I googled and they are 8 minutes away in Burbank. Did I also mention I am in Los Feliz not exactly the most dangerous place to be in LA. If you have another option don't waste your time with the company. Tow driver from NC was really insulting and had a short-fuse the whole time. At one point he demeaned me and then another time when he unloaded my SUV, he noticed it was partially backed up into a handicap parking stall and when I noticed it he said, "Too late I asked you if you're sure you want it there," stating as he unhooked the jumper cables to the car's battery. I made complaint to my insurance company also. This is the most rude and unfriendly tow company I've ever had to deal with. I was just stuck behind one of their tow trucks. the driver was driving inconsiderately and dangerously. They first cut me off to get into my lane, and then proceeded to drive 10mph in a 30mph area, causing a huge line up behind then when there was many opportunities to pull over. they also on many occasions drove into the opposite lane. There were definitely moments I thought they were going to hit oncoming cars. Hopefully the car being towed on the back makes it safely. read more

I was referred to them last night through my auto insurance policy. The driver arrived earlier than estimated, was really kind, and knew was he was doing- he worked so fast! My car was in the most awkward spot in an In n Out parking lot when it broke down and the driver handled it with ease. Sometimes getting a tow can be awkward because the driver is unfriendly or is rushing and you're already stressed out, but this driver was really nice. His car was very clean and he drove me and my dog home, parked my car, and sent me on my way. Was in a collision in a rental car and didn't want to get on the freeway to exchange it at the rental place due to the damage. Rental car company said they would be sending a tow truck and the driver would let me ride along to the airport rental location to get a new car. When the driver arrived he was polite at first but when he realized I was supposed to ride with him he quickly turned aggressive. He said that he would not be taking me no matter what. I told him he couldn't have the car if I wasn't riding along but he wouldn't even let me finish my sentence and kept cutting me off. He called his supervisor and said I don't want to take the car. He told me dispatch would send me another driver that can let me ride in the cab and left. Waited a while and called the supervisor to find out they had no intention of sending another tow and I was going to wait there forever. Both the driver and supervisor were not good at communicating, they both were stressed and consequently rude also. Ended up driving the damaged vehicle all the way to the airport. When you need a tow it's already a bad situation, you would think the people they send to help had the situation handled. Good thing I was already at a safe location. Can't imagine if they just left me on the street at an accident site. Can't trust these guys, wouldn't recommend. read more

Do not!! I repeat DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!! My partner was involved in a 4 car pile up that left us having to tow our vehicle in. It already took them 2 hours to get to me. Just to inform me that "His shift was up" and that he had to take my car to the tow yard wait till his night guy gets in it was 6 when he got to me, them drop off my car latest would be 8pm, he DID NOT get that approved my my insurance company later to find out it's actually against them to do such a thing. Because now we can not track our vehicle leaving us in a bigger situation by not knowing how long or where my car is. We would call multiple times to figure out the location because shops usually close at 6/6:30 the latest I own the shop it's being taken to, so I had my employee stay later till 8 like he said it would be there by. 8:30 rolls around still no sign of the driver 8:45 still nothing... I let my employee go home because at this point it's ridiculous that I had to wait that long. Then it's 10pm I get one miss call which I call back right away to be told " the driver is there and has been waiting" No one is answering!? Screaming at us mind you we also just got released from the hospital all phones are dead.. no compassion at all! Said that's not my problem, I replied with, you have been waiting?!?! I've had a guy out there since 6 waiting for you 4hours! To drive 20min away? Come on. On top of that we would call to ask for updates to make sure someone is there , just to be harassed, disrespected and flat out hung up on because it was "Not there problem" how is this not your problem when you have my car??? I'm confused. On top of that it's now 10pm and my car was finally dropped off.. TO THE WRONG LOCATION! By far the worst company I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I was in an accident today and called this unprofessional company at 5 pm, i did not get my car to the place it needed to be until 10 pm at night!!!! Not only was it dropped in the wrong location but the owner of the company was extremely rude and unprofessional. He cursed at us, denied our calls, and told us he wasn't our "secretary" when all we were trying to do is locate our vehicle. I was 2 minutes away from calling 911 and reporting my car as stolen because they refused to answer my calls nor did anyone verify with me that my car was at its final destination. But Gabriel was able make the adjustments to get the car loaded. He took pictures of the car before he left and then texted me a picture of the car at the dealer once it was dropped off there.
