Maybe I'm conditioned to take my products only to apple and let them suck every last dollar out of my bank account for repairs. Bravo to apple for making me think only they can fix my products but I'm no longer fooled by that marketing tactic. Thankfully I decided to trust that someone has the ability to repair my apple products other than apple. I took my iPhone XS Max in for some major repairs; front, back and battery. Alfredo was up front about costs and turnaround times. I was explained my options and dangers of trying to save a quick buck in the long run. I trusted the Jedi Masters recommendations and my trust was not ill placed. My phone was masterfully repaired and warranties explained clearly. Comes back grabs his laptop and states he will have to look up replacement parts and price. Just then a fed-ex driver comes in delivering a package to which he puts down the laptop to get the package and have a conversation with the driver. I unplugged my phone and left. Frist. You were rude and completely disregarded the services I requested. Second, I was NEVER asked if I wanted a new phone or to have my phone repaired. Third, I was placed on pause while you concerned yourself with another matter. THE BLANTANT DISRESPCT. Was it becasue I am a woman and you decided what I was going to with my property and monies. I guess I thought I'd have to take my laptop to Westchester or NYC, which would be pretty time consuming. I want to add that the first screen he received failed while still in his shop. So he had to order and install a second one, and I don't think he charged me any different even though it had to have been ~double the labor time. Plus - he obviously checked his work. And, he apologized for the delay, even though he didn't cause it. I don't know about you but a lot of things nowadays, people take shortcuts or don't care about the quality of work or just fail to do the simplest little checks to assure a job is done right. I found this business on Yelp but with no reviews so I was a little skeptical. I texted Nick, the owner and I checked his Facebook page and found he had all good reviews. I made plans for him to come to my home which he did promptly at the designated time. He sat in his car for about 20 minutes to replace the screen. When he returned from his car my phone was perfect. He was very kind to wash his hands before touching my phone, and handled it with care as he installed my case. The last time I bought a case, the salesperson had dirty, greasy hands and got the grease inside and outside the case. When he was finished, he carefully wiped everything down.
