I could go on for about three long paragraphs about how the visit went - but I will summarize it for everyone here. It was a bad idea. ===== The staff would have preferred that I never asked to plug in their equipment and spend time to properly tune a guitar in order to see how the guitar plays and sounds. Perhaps they are ignorant, but it felt like they were willfully ignorant. We were asked to turn off the smallest amp because it was giving the large woman behind the counter a headache (i.e. stop playing because I can't listen to my movie on netflix on this computer - and I don't want to spend time making certain that your questions and concerns are addressed). Only one of their amps (the smallest one - a dictionary sized 10W) was testable because it was the only one with a 2-prong plug. It took 4-5 attempts to completely retune one guitar because the neck kept resettling after each attempt to properly tune it. They can't keep the gear in tune. It's doubtful they know how to test most of the electronics in the store since it might actually require effort. If anything - they are afraid that someone who actually knows their stuff about the item being sold could talk them down. So - if you are some poor ignorant drunk chap who doesn't know much - I'm sure they will find a way to easily separate you from your money. As for me - I won't be setting foot back in that pawn shop - EVER. And I hope you don't either.

As we walked in we saw a gal gathering all the outside items and bringing them inside. She was polite and did mention they closed in 10 minutes. She is the only reason this is not a 1 star review. When we walked in a guy behind counter immediately said they were closed. I said your sign says otherwise. I also mentioned the gal outside bringing items in for the night. He said he didn't care and that it was closing time. Also another gal came out of a door in the back and yelled at my wife to put down items and get out they were closed. We didn't argue we just left. Rude and obnoxious will get you nowhere, and as a business owner myself, a little FRIENDLY ADVICE. When you choose to be completely rude to your customers without even so much as a hi how are you or may I help you then you can expect complaints.
