This is the best pawnshop in Las Vegas. I have been to the others (Super Pawn, EZ Pawn), and they are SO rude compared to the extremely helpful folks at Metropawn. Metropawn works with me to make sure I'm happy with the arrangements (and I always am). When I call to ask about the status of my loans or for any other random kind of information (the kind of requests that used to frustrate the clerks at other pawn shops even though it's important stuff) the clerks are so knowledgeable, and if they don't know off the top of their heads, they really do what they have to in order to give me an answer. I never, ever go to other pawnshops anymore. Metro Pawn is also conveniently located and easily accessible. Going to the pawn shop used to be stressful for me but since I discovered Metro Pawn it has become so much easier. read more

My husband purchased a gun on an auction site from this business. Ten months later he receives a call from the LV police telling him that the gun is stolen property and he has to surrender it the our local police. He contacts Metro Pawn tells them what happened. He has the complaint number that the police gave him and the officers name. He asks what they will do for him since he now has lost the gun that he paid them $400. The rude lady says they won't do anything for him. Really??? They sold him a stolen gun whether they knew it or not is on them. They received payment. They should go back on the person they bought the gun from. Buyers beware--- The item could me stolen and you will end up out the item and the money! DO NOT BUY FROM METRO PAWN!!! read more

A few days ago I came here to sell my ring which appraised at $4,500 and I had realistic expectations that I wouldn't get full value for the ring. The woman helping us wasn't very friendly and asked me how much my ring was valued at. After I told her the appraisal price she said that's what I thought. I was surprised when she only offered $800-$1,000 for it since it even has a diamond certificate. I declined the offer and as I was leaving the woman said well we are open until 6 if you change your mind. I went to another pawn shop and found out that the woman from this pawn shop called them so they would refuse my business pretty much trying to force me to go back to her pawn shop. My man and I walked into the store and this old white one eyed man was being racist from the jump. My man is black. Was not willing to take both our items. This other lady was kind enough to do so but his white cracker ass walked his ass back to the register and started raising his voice at her and said he wasnt going to take them and gave them back to us. While this other customer came in and sold all her shit without a problem. Mind you she White just like him. But gave us problems!!! You can't have people like him in your shop running your business and running your customers away. Y'all need to fire his white racist ass. HIS bitch ass name is BARRY. If you ever need to go to a pawn shop, this is the only one!! You will not find a more professional, non-pressured environment. When you get, ask for Ryan. He was upfront, honest, and very straight forward. No beating around the bush. The management was very quick, and no lines to wait in! They had 4 staff members on duty! I pawned some jewelry, camera equipment, and my ps4. The prices I received were the highest out of 5 pawn shops I went to. Please, do yourself a favor and only go with Metro Pawn. Been coming to this pawn shop for years, friendly staff whom I equally enjoy bantering with as well as bartering. They go out of there way to help by sending me to a friendly jeweler or just polishing a gold ring I'm picking up from a pawn. Tia the store manager is always professional and willing to work with me even when I'm a pain in the but sometimes, and Ryan who thinks he's GQ can handle my ball busting which he deserves! These guys gave me a great deal for the item I pawned. Made me fully aware of their policies before the end of the transaction. They also allow you to get your item back by paying monthly interest + the loan amount, as opposed to tacking on the full 3 month amount, and forcing you to pay it, even if you were to come back 2 days later to pick up your item. Fair and friendly service is what I received, and it's the reason I'll come back here again, before any other pawn shop. read more

Unfortunately, I don't know the names of any of the staff. However, in the two or more years that I have been in and out of the store, I have never had a negative experience with anyone. I believe that I have always been given a fair price for the items I have obtained loans for. There have been a couple of times I was not able to retrieve something by the due date, and they have been generous and accommodating by providing an additional extension. Went in to sell a ring today, knew we wouldn't get full value for it ($4,500), but expected more around $2,000. They told us they could offer $800-$1,000 which we thought was pretty lowball. We declined and they said they were open until 6pm if we wanted to come back. Then we went to another pawn shop and discovered this one had called others to block our business in order for us to come back to them and accept a low offer. I called in, Scotty answered in a very cheerful charismatic manner, I explained my situation to him and he assured me they would be able to help and he wasn't lying.
