The store is very clean and well organized and Tim let me fully test the camera. The price was very fair and Tim worked with me to make sure I could take care of a maintenance item without having to cover that cost after the purchase. This was my first actual pawn shop purchase and I really appreciated Tim's professionalism, friendliness and effort to make a fair sale. I will definitely be a repeat customer if the opportunity affords itself.

They were open about their process for evaluation, and even discussed possible pricing for some additional future sales I am considering. I could not recommend this establishment, and its proprietors, more strongly. Just excellent. One more thing: I found that this is a generationally family-owned business, of which there are exceedingly fewer and fewer these days. Supporting them, as opposed to their franchised competitors (one of which is mere feet away in the same shopping mall), is important. I purchased both on separate dates for a total of $630 and sent the 1805 first to PCGS for certification. PCGS confirmed the 1805 was a counterfeit, a local accredited coin shop who I sent the first through to PCGS then confirmed the 1846 was also counterfeit. I brought back and requested a refund, business refused. Employee refused to then give any contact information for the owner when requested. I have reported this business to the BBB, FTC, and Local Secret Service field office for selling counterfeit collectible US currency.

I saved several months to buy the chain for over $400 and the gold charm that hangs on it I paid over $300 for (separate, reputable jewelers) Before taking it in I take the time to clean the item and finish it off with a polishing cloth. I only needed $75 but why take the chance. I had pawned a few things at this place before and *always redeemed them. ie, I always go back and get my stuff and it works ok for what it is. I get some money up front, they make a nice profit at the end. I've done it enough times over the years I can tell the man behind the counter recognizes me (it's always the same guy). Not suggesting we know each other's names, but I'm a good, repeat customer let's say Long story long he says he can do $30. No missing a zero. Thirty dollars for a $700+ necklace. I get that it isnt brand new (maybe 3 yrs old) and that gold prices rise and fall or whatever but to lowball like that, even if I was some jerk (which I'm not) I dont like the idea that someone I'm taking my business to would do such a thing to such an outrageous degree just because they think they can.
