They're extremely clean, probably the cleanest pawn shop I have ever seen. Their manager Raul was so polite and friendly! The offer made to me was very reasonable, unlike other places that only look out for the business's sake. The actual transaction took about 10 minutes but I spent another 20 there just conversing with the manager. I would recommend anyone to go visit this pawn shop. The attitudes we get everytime we're here is astonishing. Especially from Gigi - who was the original sales person. It's ridiculous. Everytime we've come in since original purchase is we're told there was no original purchase even though the original sales person remembers. Their system can't find the order. Then can magically find some details under my name which makes no sense because it was a surprise engagement. My ring got resized recently (my husband was told at sales time lifetime resizing - but they declined this and advised it was full price. They eventually wavered and gave it to us at no cost which I did appreciate) and I realized after a few days I picked it up that there was a massive gap on one side that I hand noticed before. So I brought it back in. Of course I get an attitude about it. The First lady told me that it was my fault there was a chip on it. Then she took it to the jeweler who stated he's NEVER touched my ring ever in his life. Again, we bought it here, have had it resized once before this resuzing and then it had been resized a week prior to this interaction. Long story short - Mary (who is the most helpful person in this store) said she would take care of it. Would be completely redone. They called us and let us know it was completed. All better. I go in and it's almost exactly the same. Barely any different at all. They take us back to the jeweler who tells us that it's the head is crooked and the only way to resolve would be to get a whole new head. At their expense. Great, let's get this taken care of. I even at this point offered another solution where we would take on some of the cost and maybe upgrade the ring. We were told we would get a quote by the end of the day. We left again and less than 2-3 hours later we get a text with a video sayings it's completely fixed and resolved and we can come pick up the ring. No quote. Here we are again, at the store right now and it's still imperfect which I'm just at this point going to settle for because I'm so massively over this place and the customer service we've received. Never ever again.

Normally on Yelp, I offer fair but somewhat cute or comical reviews. This one is all business... I visited them on a weekday. I had called the other location a few days earlier and was instructed only to make an appointment if they were having a promotion. No mention of a promotion, I decided to just show up. When I arrived, there was one employee and the rest of the space was empty. She proceeded to ask me if I had sold gold before, if I had been a customer, etc. I said no. I gave her my items and before really looking at them she asked how much I expected to receive. This made it appear they are willing to negotiate, but they aren't. Since I had not done it before, I was open to hearing what she would offer. She tested each piece and made small talk with me. After the items were arranged, she casually mentions a promotion they will be having this weekend (Notice the other location never mentioned this). I ask about it and she says they will give you 50 percent more. I asked if she would be willing to give that to me because I live really far away and cannot come back. She simply said, "No. It's not the weekend". Hmmm. Then why tell me about the promotion? She asked where I lived and when I told her the area she asked why I lived that far away and why I came to them? (EXCUSE ME?) I ask again, with no offer of calling a manager or anything, she says, "No. I can't do that. But today I will definately give you the best price I possibly can". Oh... okay. So you DO have discretion, I think to myself. I wondered why she wouldn't try to help a customer out? She gives me a price. I say ok. Then she says "Well, is this okay with you?". There is that scent of negotiation again. I say yes and she proceeds with, "Well, I want to make sure you are happy with the price". I respond with, "Is there room for anything different? I understand the weight is fixed and pricing of gold is set daily". She says, "Yea. It is". Ok. So then why are you asking me if I'm happy? I get the money and leave totally not satisfied. Like any other person, I wanted the promotion that was waved in front of my face. I made the choice to call a manager and let them know what happened. I did. She was very kind and offered to give me the difference that I would have gotten during the promotion. She was completely understanding. I got the remaining amount and a very nice letter in about 2 days, which tells me she put it in the mail that day. Had my experience been similar to speaking with her, this place would have gotten 5 stars. The other employee was lackluster, at best. Samantha (manager) said she would speak to her. I believe she will. As a note, I did get a thank you from the woman that helped me, on the same day as the check. I do not feel they are related, so this means they send thank you notes. That was nice. Overall, while I do feel they handled the situation correctly, I can't say I'll run to them next time, but I do feel they tried to repair the situation and did so in a very professional manner.

Update: DISHONEST JEWELER. I raved about the service and the wedding band I purchased in February…read more2020. Unfortunately, now I'm extremely disappointed about both. I noticed a crack in the wedding band in Nov 2020 and informed the merchant at Silver & Gold Station. I asked for a repair and was informed that the warranty did not cover cracks. So, I asked for a replacement, but was initially told no. After continued communication and discussion, the merchant said, "This will be a one-time replacement and it will void the warranty". The merchant told me the ring would be at the kiosk for pickup. I reminded them that I lived in Gulfport, MS and offered to pay for shipping as I did with the initial purchase. I did not hear back from the merchant and the issue fell off my radar because I had to fulfill my military duty. Once I returned from duty (about 6 mths), I was able to go to Houston. While there, I made a point to go the Silver & Fold Station to pick up the ring. THE RING WAS NOT THERE!!! I was told by the merchant that "someone has already picked it up. It wasn't you?" HOW IN THE SAM HILL does that happen if I did NOT send someone to pick it up?!?! Nevertheless, the merchant did not honor our agreement and said that "nothing could be done because it had been too long and the warranty is no good anymore". Guess what...the ring has broken in half as of Nov 2021 and the merchant will not return my calls or text messages. I do not recommend this jeweler.
