Great place if you are into Traxxas brand. Only Traxxas stuff is displayed and sold it seems. Also decent selection of parts and supplies, etc. people also seemed to enjoy working there and helping customers. With only one brand to sell, sales can be biased some what, and I saw that first hand. Great store nonetheless.

Super friendly. Insanely informative. I keep going back almost every other week or so. Bought 3 vehicles from this store and upgrades. They make you feel comfortable asking questions and encourage the newer people to become involved in a way that I never expected i would be. Now my 4 year old is addicted to racing and I'm greatful I can share this with him. Juan is the bomb he's helped me a lot with hardware and tools from his own personal stash. and also the owner. Giving me tips and tricks for common small issues people run into when running their rcs often. Highly recommend

This was my first visit to this hobby shop and I'm certain it won't be the last. The staff were incredibly friendly and Juan was extremely knowledgeable with the 9 Year old Traxxas I took in. I showed him the issue and he instinctively grab a $3 part from the wall and started to install it. A couple of minutes later and my Grave Digger was working as it should. What makes the service even better was he noticed some loose screws and started to tighten those as well. He didn't need to, but he did! If you want knowledgeable advice and great service on your RC purchase, parts or repairs, this is definitely the place to go!

Love this place. They are very honest and have great knowledge. They mainly sell Traxxas RC and have great recommendation. I originally came in for parts for my old Team Associated RC. Picked up a cheap RC boat they didn't worked out and they was happy to let me exchanged it. I end up getting a e-revo 1/16 and loving it! read more

Got tired of other hobby shops in the Houston area not trying to really help me on my custom extended project truck and googled this place and the first thing walking in I experience is the staff getting excited to see my project build especially the custom skid plate, but besides that really willing to break up a set product to to satisfy a customer certain needs, endded up I bought the competed setup but I truly appreciate there efforts to go to that level for customer service and satisfaction. I will be back for slicks for my Drag truck, this will be my only Go To hobby shop from now on read more

I try to shop local but there's no appreciation for customer loyalty here, like exclusive deals or reward program maybe even a simple perk to say thank you for being a loyal customer. I ordered parts through this shop and 3 weeks went by and my order was never proceeded. I ended up having to buy the parts online, then they stuck me with store credit when I cancelled as if it was my fault that they never ordered my part. read more

The folks at The R/C Hobby Shop are very friendly and helpful. Within seconds you feel at home with their warm welcome and knowledgeable advice. I much prefer the one on one experience over the bleak online sales websites. Would totally be a 5 star review but after a few years of deciding what boat I want I finally give in and get one. Oh yes the M41 oh and I order everything you possibly can with it one hell of a bill put it that way. So long story short one color for the boat is not available so I say what ever get the other one go thru check out and everything yay. So then I wait a few days get everything but the boat so I hope online guess what the boat I ordered is now on back order and the other one is now available so I talk to a rep and low and behold instead of telling everyone hey not till mid July will they ship no they just let you order so now im sitting here with everything but a damn boat to play with until mid July. I would just like to say THANKS TRAXXAS for becoming such a shit company now that you have gotten so big. Will probably be the last thing me or any of my buddys buy from them.... read more

Me and some friends stopped by Craft Land the other night after dinner, and it ended up being a…read morereally fun time. It was my first visit, and exploring Houston's Chinatown at night just adds to the vibe. Bright lights, great energy, and cool little places like this tucked into plazas. We came mainly for the claw machines, and they definitely delivered. These aren't your usual scammy machines where you walk away empty-handed and annoyed. The win rates here are actually decent. We saw a bunch of people pulling out prizes, and we managed to win a few cute plushies ourselves. There's a wide variety of machines too, with everything from small trinkets to giant stuffed animals. This place could be a fun date spot if you're both a little playful or competitive, but honestly it's perfect for kids. The atmosphere is light and casual, and there's plenty to keep them entertained. One thing I didn't totally get was the "tufting" part of the name. After looking online it looks like you can do rug making workshops but I'm not sure where they'd host this as the place was full of claw machines. That being said we didn't check that part out, but maybe next time. Overall, Craft Land is a cool little late-night adventure, especially if you're in the area and want to mix a bit of nostalgia and prize-hunting into your night.

We came in during the evening time and stayed till a little past closing to finish our pieces, and Mark was absolutely amazing and so patient in helping us wrap up and clean up. I have been to other pottery painting places in the past, but this place by far has the best selection of items at a super reasonable price range. I found multiple items that I would've wanted to paint and take home. During the time there, Mark made sure that our group was well taken care of, understood the use of the brushes and tools, and shared fun stories and jokes while passing by us every once in a while. With the music in the background and the colorful walls surrounding you, this is a great space to channel your artistic talents and have a good time away from the hustle and bustle of life.

I know that 25% may not sound like much to you but to me, a discount is a discount (smile). Plus I had a great conversation with him and Michael(?) about MTG; they're definitely very passionate about board & card games. They have anti-scalping policies in place for Pokemon. As for the space itself, decent amount of parking (more in the back). They're very popular for Warhammer, so there's a ton of product for those who play, and several tables set-up with many people playing all afternoon next to us (the 'playing hall' is pretty large!). They also have an aisle with board games for sale, and a counter with TCG products. Restrooms are spacious and clean.
