When I arrived, the place looked like it was in the middle of a move, but she explained that she was remodeling. She never contacted me about the cost to repair my bracelet. Eventually, she quoted me $350 for the repair but offered to take half the amount, saying she would make it up to me. I ended up paying $175, which included tax, but that didn't quite add up. Regardless, I just wanted my bracelet back. I've decided I won't return to her for any future jewelry repairs, nor will I recommend her business to anyone. It makes me wonder: what if I hadn't had the extra money to pay that $350? I would have had to leave something so special behind.
