I was home for the holidays and the plan was to meet him for a late breakfast and he suggested this place, which I had never heard of before today. The restaurant had simple diner vibes and I was very much looking forward to a good meal, and they did not disappoint! I ordered the corned beef hash with two eggs over medium so they were still dunkable. The hash was very very good! I thought the pricing was reasonable too. Old school small diner. The prices are reasonable, service is great, and the food is better. I had the Italian Frittata which I highly recommend. I could eat it everyday. The onions and peppers were perfectly cooked and the sauce and mozzarella were excellent. My wife had a breakfast sandwich with ham and egg whites on a hard roll and she loved it. My daughter had chocolate chip pancakes which had tons of chocolate chips. If you like old school diners with great food, this place is for you. read more

I go by here quite often but had never stopped, this morning I had some time to kill and was in the area so I stopped and had breakfast. I ordered my usual, Scrambled,Home fries,Whole wheat toast and coffee. It was good, the home fries were nice and hot, the eggs could have been a bit hotter, the coffee was good. The place is nice and clean and quite large inside with a lot of seating available. And there is more than enough parking. Prices are competitive, and the waitresses were very nice, and they kept your coffee cup full. :) I'd go back again. read more

I am genuinely blown away by the horrible quality of the food at Ezzy's. Our party of 7 showed up on a Sunday morning and understandably had a bit of wait. It wasn't an issue at all. When we were seated, most of us were given breakfast menus (one person requested a lunch menu) at that brunchy time where either breakfast or lunch is acceptable. When one of us decided that none of the breakfast options sounded appealing, our waitress was no where to be found and he had to get up and find the lunch menu on his own. Rather than being handed a menu as a reward for his efforts, he was told to sit back down and wait for a waitress. I got a small breakfast platter and asked for my eggs scrambled with cheddar. What I received was scrambled eggs with an unmelted slice of American cheese right on top. I asked did my bacon super limp (the opposite of well done). My bacon was crispy. The pancakes tasted like cornmeal and not savory at all. Plus the syrup was in plastic bottles and incredibly diluted. Speaking of diluted, those poor souls amongst us that ordered apple juice received apple juice colored water. Their juice was incredibly diluted as well. The waitress tried to offer us orange juice instead but honestly... if we wanted OJ we would have ordered OJ. One of us got a garbage plate with a burger on it. I think the "chef" just took an old McDonald's burger patty, microwaved it, and threw it on top of the rest of the stuff. I will never, ever show up to Ezzy's again. We surprised the place with a group of us coming in for lunch. The staff were happy to make table arrangements to get us all seated. It made us feel welcomed. The dinner is located on Buffalo Rd. between Mt. Read and Howard Rd near the city and town line. The menu has several items and is a typical diner menu; we all had something different. Service was great and was on top of it. Everyone got what they ordered and no complaints. We all finished are meals (or boxed) and left rather happily that we stopped by this diner. Found a gem this past weekend! Clean cozy little restaurant on Buffalo Rd. Went for breakfast and it was sooooo good. Typical breakfast menu with a couple of specials including Frittatas. The number one thing that impressed me most was everything was hot. Not warm it was hot, which is not easy to do. Hash browns were crispy, pancakes and French toast were tender, sausage was tasty and not greasy, eggs were hot! The waitress was attentive and friendly and our coffee mugs were never empty. Used to work there many moons ago back when I was still in high school. You literally cannot beat the prices or portions. If you value quantity over quality, this is your restaurant. My boyfriend was craving some good breakfast. Unfortunately we did not get this at Ezzy's. The restaurant is your typical diner setting with booths and long tables for big parties. After much thought, I had the strawberry and blueberry waffle with Ezzy's special. My boyfriend I believe had a European frittata. The waffle was big and it came with strawberry and blueberry pie filling (which we knew) and whipped cream. There was no fragrant batter flavor to the waffle and it felt empty, no crunch at all. The Ezzy's special is nothing special. My sunny side up eggs' egg whites were a bit raw. The bacon was just strange. They were very flat, no crisp or bacon flavor, and had a weird gamey taste. This was the first time I did not finish bacon on my plate. I chose hash browns for my special plate. It was not crispy and tasted like nothing even with ketchup. The only thing I liked was the toast and butter.... My boyfriend's frittata was also underwhelming. When it arrived there was a poorly melted slab of cheese on top of everything. I thought it was mac and cheese! The whole dish needed more salt. There was a lot of it but quantity does not compensate for quality. Overall we will not be back. read more

We used to go to Ezzy's for breakfast 1-2 times a month. The food was always great and fast. We hadn't tried breakfast take out since the pandemic, but ordered for the first time this morning. It was delicious, and everything we have been craving for months! Stopped in here on the way home for some late breakfast. I ordered the daily double, two others had frittatas, and the other person in the group ordered eggs Benedict. I was asked if I wanted my french toast thick or thin which I chose thick. Instead when it arrived it was as thick as a normal slice of bread. Disappointed to say the least as I was hoping for some nice thick french toast, though the scrambled eggs were great! The home fries were pretty good as well. The fritattas were just okay and my guests said that if they were to come back they wouldn't order them again. Instead of using canned vegetables, fresh chopped veges would have made them taste a lot better. The eggs Benedict were decent, nothing to write home to mom about. The coffee tasted like it was burned a bit. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but it wasn't great either. If you want a quick and cheap sit down breakfast this is your place. Cheap does not give you quality. I was part of a crew of Linemen from Eastern Canada who were sent to the Rochester Area after the wind storm that hit your area. We kind of found Your restaurant by chance as we were looking for a place to eat after having arrived after about a 17 hour drive. Personally I grew up with one foot in dry land and the other in the Gulf of St. Lawrence so I feel like I know what fish should taste like. I had an order of fish and chips at your place and it was great, it was as good as any that I had within a stones throw of the Atlantic Ocean.
