This is the best gym in the area! It has everything you need: weights, machines, squat racks, pool, hot tub, movie room, outside section, massage chairs, child care, etc. All of the equipment is well kept up with and broken machines are quickly repaired. It is well kept up with and doesn't have that gross gym smell. There is always staff cleaning throughout it the day. Even though it's been open several years now, they still add to it and make improvements so it is well taken care of. There are all types, levels, and ages of people who come so no one should feel out of place The staff in the mornings and afternoon are extremely friendly. Always welcome you with a smile on their face and are very helpful. My only recommendations for improvement are that the equipment could use a deep cleaning more often, and there is no airflow in the squat rack corner. It gets very warm and stagnant so a fan would be useful. I used to go to the Eos on Ehrlich but that location was not kept up with and very dirty. Came here to use the pool because my usual EOS location's pool is under maintenance. I went on a weekday around 1pm so luckily I got a lane to myself. The water was a bit too cold but once I started swimming, it was okay. The lockers were clean and the showers were nice. The pressure of the showers could be better but at least it was clean. I love how they play spa music.. it felt like I was in a spa and not a gym lol. The rest of the gym area looked very crowded though. Parking lot was also packed but still plenty of spots left. Overall, no major complaints, but that's because I use the pool and not the rest of the gym area. read more

This is the Costco of gyms. Prepare to spend more time waiting for a machine than working out. The classes continually fill up and they don't track or penalize no-shows. The sauna sucks. It doesn't help that people are constantly coming in and out. People lay down in the sauna. Like what? You aren't the only person in here. But that's the kind of people this gym attracts. You would've never seen something like that at Life Time when it was open. The personal trainer who gave me a free intro session cut it off halfway, claiming my safety was at risk when the simple fact is that I was perfectly healthy but prepared for an introduction to personal training, not a 1-1 HIIT session. Oh and good luck canceling your membership. You basically have to give 60 days notice despite the contract stating 30 days. And if you later decide to rejoin, you will be faced with having to pay the initiation fees and any regularly charged annual fees AGAIN, regardless of whether or not you paid it within that same calendar year. Can't forget the parking situation! Parking is so horrible, you'll spend more time circling the lot looking for a spot than you will finding a free squat rack. I've seen a lot of negative reviews on here but it seems like these are all people who go at night because I haven't had any issues when going in the morning or afternoon. The staff is always friendly when I walk in and it's not too crowded. It is difficult to find a parking spot around 10/11 am when the classes start but the gym itself is spacious and not over crowded. There are always machines open. Turn around time on fixing machines is really quick. I've never seen a machine out of service for more than a couple of days. There's almost always someone vacuuming when I'm there so it's kept clean. They do need to enforce re-racking weights and wiping off equipment more. I've seen EŌS trainers leave weights on after training their clients. Definitely recommend. It's also a lot nicer than the one on Ehrlich read more

They just need to workout and get off so others can use the machine too! When you walked in day or night, it's super crowded and it's loud like going into a cramped small stores. For the hot sauna in the women's room, it literally said to take off your shoes when going inside there, but every women going in there with their shoes on! So me and a friend have been going after 9 pm oince they have opened. I would definitely say that it being recently opened its a lot of people, even at night.. Mostly it's younger individuals just hanging around, not really getting on anything but making this the hangout spot. And if you have the black pass don't expect towels. For some reason they are either not cleaning them or keeping in front and not telling you. They definitely need someone else in front. The gym is beautiful and has just about everything, but most of the clientele seems to be very young.Ive been going to the gym for over 50 years and have tried to get along with everyone. But many of the young ones here, are very disrespectful. I had an altercation today and went to find the manager and the manager came and talked to the young couple and told me they'll only be ten more minutes, no mention of gym courtesy was discussed at all, and I felt like I did not belong there at all. The manager is probably in his twenties and the kids were teens., kids leading kids. Typical gym that will entice you with pretty things and how amazing the facility is with friendly smiles as if they are your best friend. But the moment you cancel they have zero compassion and treat you like dirt. Due to a health issue I haven't been to the gym in 6 months and finally was able to go in person to cancel since over the phone or online isn't an option. They said in order to cancel I had to pay for my last month which due to contract I knew, however I got a call afterwards saying I need to pay the annual fee as well. Even though I haven't worked out or stepped foot in the gym for 6 months and won't be again moving forward they still want me to pay the annual fee for next year. The "manager" had zero compassion and hung up on me. Rude and disrespectful. Originally when I joined the gym I wanted to go for the classes however they are so limited in options and the hours aren't after work friendly. I should have known I would be met with an issue when I cancelled but to claim there is nothing they can do about the annual fee is absurd. First time stepping into a gym on my own, and I was extremely relieved and left the place excited about coming back. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable, with a great balance of introducing me to the space without being overly pushy in terms of sales for gym plans. The facility is beautiful, spacious, and updated with a fun makes of areas to work out such as the 'backyard', an indoor-outdoor space, a cardio cinema with a big screen to keep you occupied while doing cardio, and many other amenities that make the memberships well worth the price. My favorite part was the facility's EGYM system which, for a beginner like me, was a huge benefit. It gamified workouts and showed me EXACTLY what I needed to do, including auto adjusting the weights based on however it calculated what I could handle. Overall made everything way less overwhelming starting out. Also had great recovery areas with compression therapy and cryo included in their highest level plan (which was extremely reasonably priced based on the amenities). i went to enroll in the eos. i asked if they took silver sneakers(seniors have this gym benefit through their medicare advantage), but told me only partial. also i was advised i had a trial period to decide if i want to continue. i decided to cancel my membership. i went in person and cancelled two days before the trial period ended. i asked the front desk if i would receive a charge and advised " absolutely not." i also inquired about a confirmation that i had cancelled. eos advised i would get an email with cancellation. cancellation email didn't occur. i was charged 77.88 a day later. i did contact eos and was so disappointed wouldn't assist me. told me to call corporate. also i called silver sneakers and was advised the gym should have taken complete and not partial payment. the manager and other staff did try to up sell me and insisted "this deal is better than silver sneakers."(please don't ask me what deal. they offered me many, so confusing.) i should have been told the truth and not paid. all my neighbors who have silver sneakers reported on facebook the other eos fitness in tampa have taken the silver sneakers entirely like the ymca. i would like my money back otherwise i will continue on fb, and other media sites to give eos a review. read more

Please do the 7day trial before you sign up for this gym. It's so crowded that you won't be able to exercise. When I say crowded, I mean there won't even be a treadmill open, It's not worth it. There's also a lot of middle/high school kids here which is fine but it just adds to the amount of people. It's not worth it to buy any membership other than the one for $9 because you'll never be able to get into the recovery rooms and when you do go in just imagine there's people literally staring at you waiting for you to leave, It's weird. If you go on the weekend there's less people. Just don't be like me, I signed up before it opened and now I'm stuck in a membership. Two weeks in and I hate it. When I try to cancel they say they'll still charge me $74 for the annual fees plus next months payment. RUN read more

I started with this gym at the beginning of summer because of their hours and childcare services they offered. Fast forward to last week 8/5/2023. I dropped my 9 month old for my hour work out. When I arrived to pick my baby up from the childcare center, the employee working stated that my baby was fussy that day during his time in the center. I found it odd since my baby is ALWAYS happy and it was 9 am when I dropped him off, so not nap time hours for him (I get compliments on his behavior ALLL THE TIME) On our 20 min drive home, my baby whimpered on and off. I told my husband that something was wrong with him. We checked him over and everything seemed to be normal (no marks or anything of that nature) Today, 8/9/2023, I scheduled my baby another session in the childcare center so that I could work out assuming that last Saturday was just a fluke. THE MOMENT I handed my baby to the childcare worker, he started to scream. I instantly took him back, filed a report regarding last weeks incident and how he reacted today. Some might call it separation anxiety, but not for my baby. He loves everyone regardless of if he knows you or not. We have older kids in the house, and it is noisy. So the other 3 children in the center that day were no way "new to him" or a concern for him to act the way he did. I received a call from the gym that they looked over the footage from last week and did not see anything wrong during his time there. They also stated that they talked to the employee from that day (8/5/23) and she stated that my baby is normally very happy and that Saturday in particular he was not. I find it very strange that my 9 month old reacted the way he did. Like the employee stated in regards to his normal behavior, he is HAPPY. I have no facts of any wrongdoing, and I am not writing this review to point fingers or accuse anyone of wrongdoing to my 9 month old. I am writing this review in caution to parents who have babies and are leaving them at the center in case something like this has happened or happens to their baby while in the care of the center at the gym. I am still working out at that location because it fits my needs, but I cancelled my childcare membership. At the end of the day, we know our babies the best, and we know when something isn't right. The front dest staff is not helpful at all. I've been three times and have not been able work out. I was under the impression I needed to validate my account before working out so I've gone in to do so and their system has been down all three times. I spoke to the manager today and he informed me I do need need to validate before working out which means the front desk staff has sent me away without letting me know I could still workout. I've been a member since the beginning and we are at the end of June and I have been able to work out yet because of undertrained employees or laziness of not going through the process of letting me workout without a barcode.
