I am warning anyone who is considering joining EōS Fitness -- DO NOT JOIN. Once you sign up, they make it incredibly difficult to cancel your membership. My 78-year-old father joined in December 2025 believing it would be a safe and supportive place to work out. He was told he could add other members for $1.00, but instead his account began being charged $388.00 per month. My Father is in a Wheelchair. On top of that, the personal trainer assigned to him repeatedly showed up late to sessions and continued charging him weekly -- even after he clearly told her, weeks in advance, that he no longer wanted to continue training. Despite his cancellation request, the weekly charges continued. We have gone to the gym multiple times in person requesting that his membership be canceled. Each time, we were given the runaround, and the charges to his credit card have not stopped. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to resolve this. This feels like predatory behavior toward an elderly customer. Taking advantage of a 78-year-old man with unauthorized and excessive charges is unacceptable. We are filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and if this matter is not resolved immediately with a full refund and written confirmation of cancellation, we will be pursuing legal action. This has been a horrible and stressful experience for our family. Please think twice before signing any contract with this company. read more

Where do I even begin. I had a horrible experience signing up for this gym. I've been a member since October 2024, and only recently realized I've been charged twice a month for nearly a year. That's over $400 in extra charges. When I brought this to the staff's attention, the associate I spoke with was kind and helpful, but when their manager, Zack, was looped in, he refused to speak to me directly. Instead, he spoke only through his associate and essentially shrugged the situation off, saying "too bad." I was then told that I would most likely not be receiving any refund because I "signed up for two memberships." The lack of accountability and customer care here is staggering. Even if this was a system error or a mistake during signup, a reputable gym would work with their members to make things right. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed, ignored, and financially taken advantage of. As cool as the environment might be, the distress, poor communication, and lack of resolution make it absolutely not worth it. Save yourself the headache -- I wish I had. read more

I have been having nonstop issues trying to cancel my personal training, I haven't even been to a session and they are refusing to even entertain the idea of voiding the contract. The gym is very well equipped. It has tones of different cardio, weight lifting, and functional equipment/machines, a movie theater (that is not being utilized, the sign says something along the lines of "coming soon"), two turf areas, a dry sauna, a pool and a hot tub. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, and for the amount of equipment, the $10/month fee +$49 annual fee + (variable) sign-up fee is a decent deal. for the area, it's an OK gym, I don't particularly like the way the fitness industry is running right now and the way that they train people. It's a money making machine which doesn't really benefit the clients very well. Do you wanna lose weight you gotta diet there's no and if we're butts about it, you can't exercise away a bad diet. but for the price, it's a good gym. I don't particularly like at all that they put that green grass stuff. My father actually invented that stuff and it's not a great flooring to have in the gym because all of the toxins and all the stuff is made to be hosed off and if they're not hosing off and cleaning out center, and all the mold and toxins and stuff we're going under it besides that it's like my service dog wants to pee on it. I really wouldn't wanna like I don't wanna lay on that stuff personally I don't know why they didn't just stick to regular gym flooring. i'm going back to personal training myself and I believe that high intensity interval training and yoga are the best combinations of things if you wanna be at your best to completely different modalities helping to completely different things and you know if you want to do a little bit of powerlifting with it, great but make sure you're in shape first so that you don't hurt yourself. read more

Mis led me into signing a contract for personal training. Manager Freddie said he froze my account yet I just got charged again. Impossible to reach anyone, keep getting blown off. I've read this place is hard to cancel with, this should be fun. Gym was great, lack of managers, lack of clear communication. Freddie even told me there were numerous complaints. I had a very disappointing experience at EOS Fitness in Orlando FL the Clarcona and Hiawassee location. Every time I visited, the same assistant manager relentlessly pressured me to sign up for a personal trainer plan on NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, despite my clear refusals constantly due to the cost. After repeatedly saying no, they offered me a short-term plan, which I decided to try. When I attempted to cancel within the specified timeframe, I was met with constant delays and no resolutions. Eventually, I spoke with a manager named Ruben, (which multiple staff members told me to talk to) not only denied my cancellation request despite me never starting any sessions and then proceed to give unsolicited rude and inappropriate comments about my figure and appearance. He suggested I could afford the membership if I "budgeted" better and "stop eating out". When I furthered tried to reach out about this situation with customer service they also couldn't help me resolve this solution. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional but deeply unacceptable and disturbing, leaving me feeling uncomfortable and frustrated as a woman. The way this situation was handled is truly disrespectful. I would like to resolve this matter in a timely manner. read more

I had originally left a good review for this place. I cancelled my gym membership because I moved out of the area. I was told I would have to pay one more month which I was ok with. Come to find that one payment of 10$ came with a $63.88 annual fee. When I called I talked to the manager Jay, and he said yes even though I paid an annual fee for my first year and cancelled before my second I would have to pay the annual fee again. Said it wasn't his problem. I've used EōS in Arizona and was my only go to gym. When I came to Florida I was so happy to find one had opened here. I will not be returning to EoS again. read more

EOS Fitness Update: It's been a year since my last review. This gym only became worse. Trash everywhere, from the floor, the cup holders, to the restrooms. There are always dumbbells or weight plates laying on the floor, broken equipment, empty towel holders. Rude and untrained employees, including the manager. Unmannered members who slam weights, bring their own speakers and blast music, scream louder than my headphones (even though I pay for the black card and most of them don't). If this gym just keeps on focusing on quantity over quality, they're gonna eventually replace all of the good members with the destructive ones and end up spending more money to fix the equipment. At this point, if I could give a zero-star rating, I would. Also, if you're thinking about cancelling your membership, try to do it more than 30 days prior to when your annual fee is due or you'll get hit with an annual fee on top of your monthly fee. read more

EOS Fitness, I am a very disappointed member as are all your members who work out from 11pm to 5am. 75% of the members were not aware the gym will no longer be open during those times starting on 4/1/24. Trust is very hard to build but so easy to lose. Members do not trust you. You increased rates for members who joined you in the 1st 90 days after you said you would never increase their rates. You changed hours after you won members over to join a 24/7 fitness center (false advertising) and you do not make membership aware of the new hours due to not posting where everyone could see. I did not receive an email and at least 30% of the members I spoke with did not get an email. Lastly you ask for a 30 day notice if one cancels but you gave a 2.5 weeks notice and had the audacity to charge the next month (April 2024) when we cannot use the facility. After we had been coming here a couple months, I noticed that the gym started to become less clean as time went on. Weights everywhere, paper towels on the floor, the parking lot has trash scattered throughout. We had decided to give it another chance this week. My son went to use the restroom when we first arrived on Monday and came out and told me that the toilets were disgusting. I went in and checked it out, and sure enough, filthy. I moved to a new home and after being a member of Anytime Fitness for 10+ years I joined this gym. It was 24/7, very large with lots of equipment. While it has anything you could ever want from an equipment standpoint, the maintenance and cleaning was poor. Broken equipment stayed that way for weeks on end and the gym was often a mess. Some of the team members would do basic cleaning, but lots of them just stayed at the desk playing games or watching TV on their phone. Super odd for what has to be a very expensive gym. Not great but livable. Here is where it got much worse for me. As stated I was a member of Anytime Fitness, but this place worked because it was 24/7. That changed at the end of March. They put up a sign in the lobby that April 1st forward they opened at 5am weekdays and 7am on weekends. I have to be at work at 7am in dress clothes. I work out 90-120 minutes a day. Due to this I normally start my workout at 3:30am or 4am. 5am does not work. Ok they change, I get it. The day I saw the sign I quit and joined a different gym. I told the person at the first desk. Here is where this turns silly. In looking at my app on my phone it shows a payment due from me on April 18th. I went to the gym and asked why. I was told that they have a 30 day cancelation policy. I get that but I did not quite because I wanted to, I quit because they changed hours significantly, making it no longer possible to use the gym. It gets worse. I spoke to two managers and was then assured that I would not be charged for the month. Today one day before the payment is set to be charged I called and was told again that I would be charged. These people are the worst. Save you self the trouble. Join Crunch, Planet Fitness or Anytime. Avoid this place. read more

I'm writing this because Eos Fitness is basically trying to charge me for a membership that I never used, or agreed to buy under the circumstances they claim because. To begin this gym is located in Tampa, I was not even living in Tampa I'm from Orlando, FL. I came in to look at the equipment that was supposed to be available when I came in the majority of the equipment they were trying to sell me on was broken. No parking, or lockers were available the massage chairs were broken as well. I took pictures; They tried to say that they had this $1 dollar membership available for Valentine's Day special which was not true. So I never used their gym and none of the equipment. Yet they still wanted and attempted to charge me for something that was never used. I signed up for a membership and I was excited to get in and start using it. I received a call a day later from someone saying I needed to come in and finish setting up my membership. I go in and here it was a meeting about setting me up with a personal trainer (which cost extra). I had no want for a personal trainer nor do I have the extra money for one. The gym is rarely cleaned and thuggish clientele will hold equipment they're not currently using. Other than that, I had no complaints until they stopped being open 24hrs. I was not on contract. I had to change my payment info and it was impossible to do online due to their convoluted third party payment system. I went in person to change my payment info. I was informed the payment was due yesterday and I'd have to pay additional $15 on top of the $28. That's over 50% late fee on a payment that's not even 24hrs late. Not to mention I'M NOT ON A CONTRACT. How's there a late fee on a payment I had no obligation to make? So, I asked to cancel my membership and I was informed they could not do that. I would have to call a number to cancel my membership. That call was routed to somewhere in India where the representative was barely comprehensible. It took 20mins to finally cancel my membership. They sent me a confirmation then a bill charging my over $100. So it went from $43 at the gym to pay to over $100 after I cancelled. I talked to Chris at the gym where he said he'd wave the fees if I'd just pay for one more months dues. Even though it's not right to ask me to pay for time I'm not using, I agreed. Took time out of my day to go in and fulfill my part of the agreement and paid the $28. Chris then reneged on our agreement and everyday since then he has been trying to steal another $68 from my account by attempting to charge my debit which I had to turn off and now have to replace. It took me all of ten minutes to find a better and reputable gym nearby. read more

My daughter has been coming to EŌS little tykes for 2 years and she went from super scared, to totally loving it. The young folks working there are thoughtful and great with kids. The equipment in this gym is A1! There is enough weights for every one and they even have 150lbs dumbbells for power lifters and bodybuilders. Whatever issue that may occur with the equipment I just inform Keke who is the manager and she handles it right away. read more

I walked in today thinking about a membership. I met Chris and he was so kind and patient with me. I have horrible anxiety and several other issues. He listened to me and tried to get the best option for me. I am very appreciative that I was able to sit down and speak with him. He is a hard-working, understanding, and patient person and I hope others around him appreciate him as much as I do. It literally takes one small act of kindness and he was that for me today. Unfortunately this gym did not live up to my expectations. I would wake up and get to the gym around 5:30am. When I arrived to workout some of the areas would not be clean at all. No weights re racked just laying all around on the floor. I wouldn't be able to find certain dumbbells as they are spread across the gym. It became frustrating that I wanted to cancel my membership even after sending in a complaint via the website. I called to see how I would go about canceling the membership and was told to just come in and somebody would help me. I sent my husband as he is on the membership as well at about 5:30pm on a weekday. He returned home to tell me that a manager needed to be there to cancel. I said okay I'll just go and do it on a weekday morning. I arrived at the gym and the young man that checks people in and out at the front desk was able to cancel my membership. He was not a manager at all as I have seen him there throughout the day. My mind was blown that somebody would just lie to us about how to cancel our membership.
