I'm giving EōS Fitness a 3-star rating based on my overall experience. There are definitely aspects of this gym that I still appreciate--[[HIGHLIGHT]]some of the staff members are genuinely friendly, and the facility itself is solid, clean, and has everything you need for a good workout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I still continue to go there because, at its core, it's a great gym environment. That said, I did have some experiences that impacted how I view the professionalism and customer service side of things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]While applying to become a personal trainer at this location, I went through an interview process with the fitness manager, Bryan. After being invited back for a second meeting and practical demonstration, there was a moment where communication felt unprofessional--I received a message that included the wrong name while I was already preparing for the session.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It left me feeling like the level of attention and care toward applicants and members isn't always consistent. I also heard conversations from other members that made me personally question the quality of guidance being given in certain situations, especially when it comes to injury-related fitness advice. While I can't verify everything I heard firsthand, it contributed to my overall impression of inconsistency in staff experience and training. Another issue I ran into involved stretch session billing and cancellation timing. I had requested to stop sessions due to personal financial hardship, but the cancellation and billing process took longer than expected, and I was still charged. My refund request was ultimately denied, which was frustrating given my circumstances at the time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I understand policies are in place, but I do think there should be more flexibility or clearer communication when members are going through hardship situations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall, I would say this is still a good gym with strong facilities and some great employees, but experiences can vary depending on who you interact with. I have paid for the highest membership for about a year now but rarely am able to use the amenities I pay for. They have 2 cryo chairs and at least one is out of service most days. As I am writing this today one of them has had a high temperature error making it none usable for 30 days! Also..the movie room doesn't play 24/7...if your an early bird your out of luck. When I signed up I was told it was 24/7. The massage chairs are often broken as well and I have gone in there to find someone sleeping in there...not in work out clothes...more then once. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only thing good about this location is the people working the front desk. They are always so nice and helpful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]..it's sad they have to hear us complaining about broken equipment daily. EOS sucks plain and simple. I was owed a 3 month credit after referring two members after they had a membership in good standing for 90 days. I had to call two months in a row because I kept getting charged. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Today I spoke to Delilah and asked for her managers info. First she said he couldn't give it to then she told me his name is Parker. Then said she can't give out his number or share details of when he works so I can speak with him.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I asked who the general manager is and she said she didn't remember because she was so new. I think she's lying or dumb. I've never worked a job and didn't know my manager's name.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Delilah will be working there or for a minimum wage for her entire life with those skills lol. I've gone to EOS on and off for years. I've tried other major gyms in the area and the others don't quite match up in my opinion. The prices are good and the variety of equipment is amazing. The only reason I gave it 4 starts and not 5 is because not all the gyms have all the amenities. All in all, I'd recommend EOS to anyone serious about their fitness goals or just getting started. read more

I started going to EoS for the pool. The only good thing to says is that it's swimable. It's 25 yards and has water. Only 3 lanes. The pool deck is gross. The water temp is usually cold. I've heard the staff saying that they never received training on how to check or adjust the temp. The bottom has a weird side to side slope where the depth for each lane varies. With that, walking or water aerobics are very difficult. The rest of the gym is just OK. It has heavy stuff to lift. There is a good variety of aerobic machines, though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff seems very standoffish and unapproachable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When we were getting the membership, it felt more like I was buying a car. "Oh, that price is too high? Well what if I could get you that same level of membership for half the price?" Despite all that, the gym is VERY popular. The parking lot is usually packed. Lots of teenagers and lunks. After being coustumer for 1 year, i can not stop the contract. They still charge my card even if i let them know with 2 months before and from the last month i have in writing from them. The 3 rd party "abc" just ignore my mesages and EōS messages and still charge my card. I have to go to bank and raported! Be careful when u give them your card! And if u do this, before u want to cancel your gym membership, change your credit card and your numbers on that card, to avoid them to charge you again... and again.... And again! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I talked with 5 guys from EOS and try to cancel. All of them insure me that everything is ok, i have 2 emails from 2 difrent persons that confirme that my contract is ended, but still they charged my card.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And now they lie again that i will get my money back in 7 business days(what already passed). The gym is new so how bad can it be? Just kidding, this place is full of problems. The roof leaks when it rains, there aren't enough bikes, recumbent or regular, and several of them have damaged gears. The circuit machines often have cracked and damaged covers on the high contact areas and other machines have broken signs on them for extended periods of time. The biggest problem here is the clientele. This gym has a problem that I haven't experienced at other gyms in the 30 years I've been going to various gyms. The men's bathroom is always full of guys, young to middle aged, posing and taking picture of themselves and each other with full view of other men using the urinals. This is a felony in Arizona (specifically, Arizona Revised Statute 13-3019). It is illegal to take photos or videos in locker rooms or bathrooms where people have an expectation of privacy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have notified this gym every way I know how and at least 10 times with dates and times. They don't care. They are now complicit with the felonies being committed in their establishment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They recently charged me the annual fee so once I have gotten my use out of this place to justify the annual fee, I'll be going to another gym. Beware of signing up for this gym. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have had a nightmare of a time trying to cancel my membership, after my health failed, and doctors directed me to not go to gym.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (Lungs) I was instructed by EōS management to get a doctor note, i got a letter and delivered it to the gym the next day. . [[HIGHLIGHT]]The financial institution that is in charge of eos, started sending me emails stating they would not cancel my membership, and they would continue to charge my bank card.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a fit. So, I canceled my debit card. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They threatened me with collections, if i did not let them have more payments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I said " bring it'. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After back-and-forth with ABC Financial for three days on emails and they're empty threats, they finally gave in and said they were canceling my membership[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Beware of these petty companies that all they wanna do is empty your wallet . As i am a disabled veteran, i find it utterly disgusting that they would do shit like this. Ill see if all the other disgruntled folks writing complaints might be interested in a class action against this entity. read more

I stopped going there for a while because it was dirty and the machines are old fashioned. First, not sending receipts for auto-payments is shady. I should not have to call the local gym to get a receipt with the company's name, amount, and what I am paying for when you automatically withdraw the funds. Second, your billing poral is ancient and looks like a shady scam site. The purchase history documents don't have your business name, does not list that I am paying membership fees. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Third- if you are going to outsource your customer service, then train them to think outside of the script and to communicate clearly. I go to EOS Fitness on Lake Pleasant, and while I appreciate having a gym nearby, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been disappointed with how crowded it always feels.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even around 8 pm, it's hard to find the machines I normally use. The spacing between equipment is also too tight, which takes away personal space and makes workouts uncomfortable at times. I really think the layout could be improved by rearranging the machines to give members more room. I don't use the extra recovery amenities--what matters most to me is being able to work out without feeling cramped. I like how PlatNet Fitness is set up, and it honestly makes me consider switching back. I hope EOS can make some adjustments, because I'd love to continue coming here. read more

I love my membership with EOS. There is a huge variety of machines which helps to keep my training interesting and fresh. The equipment, locker rooms, and swimming pools are always clean. When I go to the gym, no matter how early, the staff there is friendly and open to helping. When I joined EoS Fitness in July, I wanted to work with a personal trainer and am so happy that Ryan Hamilton and I are able to work together. After a few years of not working out at a gym, I needed a kick-start to my strength training and body composition. Training with Ryan over the past 5 months has made a huge difference in my physical and mental well being. Ryan has created consistent workouts uniquely designed for me and my body type. Whether swimming, cycling, or strength training -- Ryan is extremely knowledgeable. He's also helped me to stay focused when I travel by adding in a variety of exercises I can do on the road. Ryan is adaptable and when he knows I'm stressed, he'll laugh and encourages me to "box it out" which always helps! Bottom line, Ryan is very interested in my attaining my goals and is both super friendly and fun to work with. I'm looking forward to working with Ryan in 2025! read more

This gym is clean, has all the equipment you need and a knowledgeable staff to help you reach your fitness goals. I have an EOS less than 2 miles from my house but I choose to workout at this location (7 miles away) because of my amazing trainer, Ryan Hamilton moved to this location. He continues to help me achieve my goals and has helped me lose 30 lbs! Ryan has over 20 years of experience in training people just like me, triathletes and even Vegas performers! We recently incorporated swimming into my workout routine and I had no idea what a great whole body workout it was! My fitness, stamina and swimming skills continue to improve. I finally answered the phone and asked them to please leave me alone and the next day they called me AND texted me again! And I got more emails. I was good with the gym at first, great location at the Gilbert EOS. Good luck cancelling! The website will tell you to contact customer service, but there's no way to do that. I went into the gym and spent about 30 minutes with a front desk person who said I had to cancel on an app. It was silly. Yesterday I'm still getting charged for a personal trainer, after cancelling my membership. Apparently you have to cancel that separately but they don't tell you that, or how to do it. read more

During my time at EOS fitness, I had a lot of personal trainers due to high turnover. Due to the high amount of sessions I had banked up due to the transitions in trainers (they never paused payments), I was forced to use them essentially. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once I was done, I kindly wanted something short term and instead of telling me that isn't possible, I was signed up for a 4 month long program without my knowledge, with no real way of getting out of it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They will point to the contract and my signature as their default response, but realistically I would never sign anything that was forcing me to pay through June 23. I gave EoS in Peoria a 3 star rating because although the equipment is state of the art, I refused to sign up for a new membership because of the incessant sales calls I received after taking a tour. One call was fine, checking to see if I was interested in signing up. I told the employee I was still thinking about it and if I wanted to, I would come back to the gym and sign up. Then the calls continued, telling me I missed an appointment and offering sign up bonuses. If someone is interested in joining your gym, they will on their own. You don't need to call them over and over again. read more

No one know anything going on here, Everyone has a different answer for everything that goes on in this gym don't even waste your time! They will over charge you & when you try to speak to the operating billing manager Manny he will not answer your questions and most likely hang up on you. This place is far from a reputable company. Awesome gym... Zero transparency. I signed up for this gym around Christmas with a zero dollar enrollment fee. My girlfriend and I decided to do the family plan. Roughly 45 a month. I clearly asked the person signing me up what my first bill would be. I was told I would be charged for the half the first month and then charged for all of February. I was not once informed of any annual fee's. I also was a member years back and only ever paid month to month With never paying a yearly fee. So I was expecting my first bill to be about 60-70$. Nope. Just over 170$ was charged to my card. Additionally there's now a card processing fee they don't tell you about. They'll charge 2.99 each time they run your card until you put a bank account and routing number in. This is not the EOS I used to know. Not once were any of these charges talked about while signing up. I should cancel this membership out of principle but they're unfortunately the most convenient gym for me to go to. So ask for clarifications on what your bill will look like. They still might not tell you though. Saddest part about it is the guy signing me up was training a new employee on how to do it. read more

Fraud salespeople.. Say one thing and do another.. Avoid at your own risk getting any kind of refund back. I was told about receiving a $66 refund multiple times only to find out they had denied my refund with some word salad excuse.. Multimillion dollar company and can't give back $66. the gym has a big variety of machines and workout areas, as well as classes and a pool and a cool down area as well. even though it is usually busy, there are plenty of machines and work out areas to accommodate everyone. i signed up for four months of training, and had several different trainers during that time. the first was pretty good, then two that were not well trained (each for a short period of time), then completed the last half of my sessions with Ryan Hamilton. He is personable and on time (though it's good to be aware that a30 minute session is a 25 minute session with him), and he really knows how the body works, and how the machines and exercises work to build muscle and strength. he answers any and all questions with knowledge and in a way that I could understand. have learned a lot from him! read more
