I came in with just a daily pass from my membership, and they let me in with zero hassle -- super smooth experience from the start. I was there for about three hours and got a solid workout in. The facility itself is really well kept -- restrooms and locker rooms were clean, which always makes a difference. The building looks great overall, and what really stood out was the outdoor workout area. They've got this artificial grass section that's actually really nice to train on -- it gave the place a unique vibe compared to your typical gym. The people there were also friendly and chill, which made the whole experience even better. If you're traveling or just want a good gym to drop into, this spot is definitely worth it. read more

Pros and Cons to follow. There are a lot of both, and right now the Cons are coming out on top. When I started back in September, I would have given a 4 start rating. This really should be a 1 star, but I want to be fair and see if EOS can remedy the leak issue any time soon. If so, I would bump this to a 3. PROS: (there are more than these, but these are the items that made it worth joining vs. other gyms or just training at home) Cheap -8 squat racks/olympic lifting platforms with plenty of bumper plates -2 Concept 2ski ergs (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Concept 2 rowers (repaired quickly when broken) -3 Assault Air Runners (Many times one of the monitors is down, but not a lot of people use these so there's typically at least one in working order that is available) -1 Assault Bike (been broken for 9 weeks; obviously not repaired quickly when broken) -Tons of dumbbells -Decent assortment of kettlebells -Love the turf training area with plyo boxes and the sled -Sauna and steamroom -Very crowded (no one's fault, and this is also a good thing because people are getting out and training!) CONS: -The Assault Bike has been broken since late April. So actually closer to 11 weeks. At this point, just move it off the floor if it's not going to be fixed. -There are ongoing, unresolved leaks in room with the squat racks/lifting platforms (see photos). I didn't start to really pay attention to this until around March, just because it would be frustrating when people are waiting to use a rack and one or more of them would be closed off with signs and a bucket. But there have been ongoing leaks since FEBRUARY AT LEAST. Then it started to be every single day. At this point we are not even bothering to put the "CAUTION WET FLOOR" away (when a spot isn't actively leaking, the signs are folded up and leaned against the wall). One of the lifting platforms has what looks like wood rot where one of the leaks is. I originally thought it might be condensation, but I realized that this area is directly below the lockerooms, showers, steam room, etc. Steam room was also out of order last I checked. I would not be surprised if there is currently a mold issue, and if there isn't, it's a matter of time. The facility looks beautiful from the outside, and is generally nice on the inside. From walking by, you would never know that one of the rooms has been leaking for months. -Finding matching kettlebells is often like looking for one of a pair of socks. There are only single pairs in many of the weight denominations, and as long as you are willing to hunt upstairs, downstairs, in the squat rack area, and outside in "The Backyard," you can usually find the one you're looking for. Not always, but usually. -Dumbbells and DBalls are scattered everywhere throughout the facility. Other than creating a mess this is not a huge deal because there are SO MANY dumbbells here and I only use the 20lb. Dball. Demonstrates a lack of respect for the facility though. I realize it doesn't take many people to mess this up, but it also doesn't take many people remedy this. I have respectfully reported these issues (with the exception of dumbbells being everywhere) to the front desk on several occasions, and I welcome the opportunity to speak with an operations manager. read more

I went in person to get my trial offer but after waiting 15min, I left. I went 8am and apparently the staff that helps out with membership and trial offers come in at 8am or later. It felt like they have enough members so they don't need my business. read more

I used to be a loyal member of this gym back when it was Gold's Gym in Rancho Cucamonga near Victoria Gardens. In fact, I lived over 15 miles away and still made the drive because it was that good. The difference between then and now is honestly shocking. Gold's Gym used to have employees constantly walking the floor cleaning equipment, vacuuming, replacing trash liners, restocking paper towels, and maintaining the facility. The gym felt clean, organized, and professionally managed. You could tell the staff cared. I've now returned to this EōS location several times since the transition, and each visit has been more disappointing than the last. On my most recent visit, I was genuinely surprised by how far this gym has declined. A large number of machines were broken or out of service. What was even more frustrating was the lack of basic cleanliness and maintenance. Multiple paper towel dispensers throughout the gym were completely empty, forcing me to walk across the facility just to find one with paper towels. Several dispensers were broken or missing entirely. The gym itself felt neglected. Every time I walked past the front desk, there was rarely anyone there. The staffing levels seem extremely low compared to what this facility once had, and it shows in the overall condition of the gym. What disappointed me the most is that this used to be one of my favorite gyms. I would drive miles out of my way to work out here and always left feeling great. This time, I actually cut my workout short and left early because I simply didn't want to stay. The broken equipment, lack of cleanliness, empty supplies, and overall atmosphere completely took away from the experience. It's sad to see a gym that was once so well-maintained fall this far. Unless management starts investing in maintenance, cleanliness, staffing, and equipment repairs, I wouldn't be surprised if more long-time members decide to take their memberships elsewhere. I truly hope EōS turns things around because this location used to be something special. Right now, it feels like a shadow of what it once was. EōS just took over the 23 SoCal Gold's locations and it's been smooth so far. This is my daily go-to and favorite gym -- same staff, same equipment, no interruptions. They're slowly changing the signs, and now I've got access to more EōS spots, which is a nice bonus. Still the best place for my workouts. Solid transition. read more

When I first walked into EOS, the sales staff were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. They promoted their membership and told me the first month would only cost $1, and that they would waive the initiation fee. At no point did they mention any additional fees or recurring charges. Two weeks later, I was shocked to see an $84.98 charge on my account. I had never been informed about this fee. I went to the EOS Rancho location to ask about it. The front desk staff explained that the salesperson had not thoroughly gone over all the membership fees with me and suggested I come back the next day to speak with the manager, David. When I returned, David showed absolutely no intention of resolving the issue. Instead, he blamed me, saying that I must not have listened carefully enough when the membership was explained????? How ridiculous is that? Why is the assumption that the customer didn't listen, instead of admitting that the salesperson failed to clearly explain the fees? That's not customer service--it's avoiding responsibility. The contrast between the sales experience and the customer service afterward is unbelievable. The sales team was eager to sign me up, but once there was a problem, no one wanted to take responsibility. The only positive part of my experience was the front desk associate. She was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful. She provided me with the contact information for upper management and explained how I could file a formal complaint. My colleague and I applied for a 7 day pass on their website to try out the gym based on the recommendations of other coworkers. When we arrived they would not honor our pass and try to force us into a monthly membership. They said we'd have to speak to their GM who was busy. We waited 20 minutes until the GM spoke with us demanding our HR contact info to help lower the monthly membership they were trying to force us into. We left after it became clear they would not honor our 7 day pass. They were very aggressive and more concerned with your pocket book than providing the customer service that would secure your patronage. read more

I have been active in the Fitness world for 20+ years, so believe me when I say I do understand the effects of high volume amounts of clients using the same equipment over and over. There is obvious wear and tear. However, this gym has shocked me to a whole new level. It is a matter of time before somebody gets hurt here and sues and Eos will no longer be a thing. They obviously did nothing to upgrade equipment after EO's took over goals. The floor is ripped up and bubbling, and I've tripped repeated times caring extremely heavy dumbbells. Weights are constantly on the floor or not racked properly, paper towels, crumbled up on the floor everywhere, the bathrooms are disgusting... And most of all the equipment is broken. Today I was using a shoulder press machine, low weight, high rats, so there wasn't a whole ton of stress on the machine and a bolt holding one of the main arms, easier to say one of the support holding all the weight, broke. Literally a bolt shot out from the machine. I picked the bolt up covered in grease and now my hands are covered in grease took it to the front desk and they couldn't be bothered to come see what machine I told him it was from. I asked for a manager, and it was told they were both in meetings and she pointed at them and when I looked over, it was two guys goofing around at the membership desks. Severely disappointed in what this gym is versus what it should be given its location and it's wanna be "bougie "appearance. This gym ranks amongst the top three worst gyms I've ever been to. read more

Ever since this became an EOS it has not been up kept very well. There's water leaking from the ceiling at the squat racks. Water faucets, bathrooms, lifting machines have been constantly out of order waiting for repair. There are weights everywhere, barbells missing, and rand equipment all over the gym. The weightlifting equipment is dirty and in terrible shape. They look and feel decades old. The actual floor is torn and bulging in multiple spots. Last time I was there people were slamming machine weights really hard and the workers couldn't care less. Which contributes to the poor condition of the equipment. As someone else mentioned, the cardio area upstairs is great. If I was running this gym and actually wanted to improve the experience, I would take notes from Chuze Fitness. read more

I used to come here to the Rancho Cucamonga Victoria Gardens gym often back when it was Gold's Gym. I loved coming here back then because it wasn't as crowded, even in the summer months, and I could get on all the machines I needed to complete my full body workout. Recently since this gym has changed into EOS, it doesn't feel the same anymore. It is extremely crowded, which could be overlooked, IF the machines were in good condition. There are always a couple machines that need to be repaired and sometimes they sit that way for weeks. It's difficult to get a decent workout here because of this issue and I don't think I'll be coming back for a while. My membership expires in 2027 and I won't be renewing with EOS. read more

Wow!!! Ever since EOS took over from Golds this place has gone down hill fast! You would think a bigger company taking over would be a positive but can't be more wrong. They are cutting equipment repair employee hours big time and it shows. On any given day there are at minimum 5 to 8 machines broken. A paper towel dispenser hasn't been replaced in over a month! Gym friends are all fed up and switching gyms. So sad.... Get it together EOS! read more

Equipment The first floor are machines, squat racks, smith machines and dumbbells are separated by walls in a semi open space. The barbells didn't have clips so that was weird! Upstairs / second floor is cardio and recovery, there are bikes, stair stepper machines and treadmills along with a turf area. I didn't lay eyes on the recovery room but they have it. Cleanliness The cleanliness left a little to be desired, strong chance you'll come across balled up used paper towels. The cleaning supplies they provided were scarce, many of the dispensers were bone dry... during flu season no less. Food / Drink The selection of protein and hydration was fair, nothing out of the ordinary Front Desk No issues with customer service, they answered all questions adequately! read more

I've been going to this gym since it first opened back when it was Gold's Gym Rancho Cucamonga. I was a member for about two years before switching over to EōS Fitness in Jurupa Valley. After the transition, I decided to come back and honestly, it made me realize how much things have declined. The biggest issue is that the staff and management clearly do not care about the condition of the gym. There's a lack of leadership, and it shows in how everything is run. Machines are constantly breaking there's something new out of order every day and it takes weeks for repairs. Cleanliness is also a major problem. The gym often smells bad, especially in the cycling room where there's a strong, unpleasant odor. Basic supplies like paper towels are frequently out, and the spray bottles either don't work or aren't maintained. It feels like no one is staying on top of anything. On top of that, the steam room has been broken for over a month, which is unacceptable. Even when it was working, staff would shut them off up to two hours before closing. For members who can only come in later at night, that's extremely frustrating and inconvenient. The only reason I still come here is because I like the cardio area it's one of the few things this location does well compared to other EōS Fitness locations. At this point, I just want this gym to be like the other EōS locations. They need to have someone from the district come in, retrain staff, and seriously reevaluate management. Whether that means new training, new leadership, as well as bringing in new equipment something needs to change to get this gym back to how it used to be and up to the standard of other locations. I love this gym. I have been to all gyms, this one outshine them all. Affordable, friendly, clean, motivating and great atmosphere is the verbs I would use to describe this gym. I've been a member for 10 months now...I go at least 3-5 x's a week....lost 25 lbs since I joined and have made it my habit to go and always feel great when I leave. Gym is very nice, well kept, but the people that are working there not so nice seem arrogant. I don't know what is it about gyms putting people at the front reception that lack customer service or maybe is this new younger generation. Back in my day... jk but that area can improve a little more. I also noticed it gets busy in the evenings you see a lot of people standing around with their backpacks or bags...not sure why. I go grab some dumbbells and mimic the workout I would have done on the machine . I tried liking this specific location to join but the parking is the worse and I don't have that kind of time. My first impression was negative due to the receptionist desk people then adding all the other stuff it's a no from me However like I said gym is really nice ! One tall bike on North wall has had a broken strap for about two months. Reported three times latest one week ago still not repaired. Now second of four tall bikes has a broken strap. Not repairing timely shows carelessness and a lack of attention to detail. read more

I understand having plumbing issues but how long does it take to repair. Yesterday they had what seemed to be sewage water flooding the whole first floor. Coming from someone who is used to golds and other gyms towards Pasadena, Arcadia etc. this place as a golds had already gotten bad, way too small and equipment not taken care of. Employees did very little to upkeep the gym, as simple as putting away equipment. Now as an EOS, this place is now even worse. This place has deeply fallen off since its new ownership. This is the first gym that I have gone to where staff are rude and dismissive. Andrea at the front desk saw me standing in front of her for honestly 3 whole minutes before even acknowledging my existence. Then when finally asking if I needed anything she deeply sighed as if asking her to work at her place of employment was the biggest burden in the world. On another instance, I went just last week and I had gone to purchase a water. There were 3 employees in the front, doing literally nothing, and they glanced at me but never once acknowledged me. It took two minutes for me to say "excuse me" for them to reluctantly assist me. Lastly, this gym is also the first gym I have gone to that have LONG and LOUD repetitive ads about joining EOS as if the people inside were not already paying members. I used to be a member at Golds but cancelled right before the transfer to EOS. I finally decided to come back and give it a chance to see how much of the gym itself has changed. I went in a saw a familiar face working the front desk so it felt like when I used to workout here. I tried to do a 7 day pass to see if I wanted to rejoin but was told since I was a member in the past (over a year ago) I didn't qualify for the 7 day pass. It was a bit disappointing to hear but I decided to just asked for day pass option. So the receptionist introduced me to a membership sales person. Xavier said it was $20 which I was hesitant to pay but ask my friend that was with me if that was okay before I decided for both of us and we both agreed to just pay the fee to get our workout in. Then the Xavier said okay it's gonna be $40 so I thought he meant $40 together?? However we just needed one day pass. After I explained to Xavier that he first said $20 he kept rudely stating no it's $40. I then very kindly asked to speak to someone else. Xavier did not like it and stated "why do you want to speak to her (the receptionist I'm the manager. Being in a managerial position myself I know that this is not how you treat customers. VERY UNACCEPTABLE! Even if the other person would just tell me the same information it's the delivery that matters. He mistakenly said the "wrong price" and instead of taking accountability and just apologizing, wanted to act like he never did that when 3 people heard the same thing. I want to address the way this situation was handled because it felt unnecessarily escalated instead of deescalated. As a manager, maintaining professionalism during conflict is important, and the communication came across dismissive and reactive rather than solution-oriented. I don't think speaking over people, becoming defensive, or escalating tension helps resolve issues effectively. At this point, I genuinely believe either new management is needed, or there should be extensive retraining on professionalism, communication, and conflict deescalation for Xavier. read more

Honestly, 80% of the time that I come to the gym (which is a lot), I'm disappointed by the staff. There are MAYBE 2 employees who are welcoming and friendly. The rest literally will ignore you standing there while they socialize ( a lot) or half ass help when you need something. You'd think that of all places, a gym would be somewhere with friendly, nonjudgmental, welcoming, and personable staff because 1) this is the most sacred OR the hardest time of some people's day 2) the gym can be a super vulnerable place & 3) everyone there is trying to better themselves in some way -- so you'd think the staff would be supportive with at LEAST a "welcome in" or a "have a nice day!" It's crazy...I thought that was common sense.... Or at least human decency lol. 1/9/26 l arrived at 4:55am with a couple of friends and waited 15 minutes outside for the doors to open at 5:00am. I then returned to my car to warm up, and by 5:26am, I was annoyed. As a result, l left. Many gym-goers were waiting, and the weather was bitterly cold and windy. My schedule allows for only an hour-long workout before I head to work. Even the staff at Philz Coffee was already open and ready; maybe consider giving them a key. This shows a complete lack of respect for members' time and safety--while they continue charging $49.99 per month without delivering the service promised (Note I use to pay 44 dollars a month when it was Golds Gym). I was a bit skeptical of the transition from "Gold's Gym" to "Eos". The aesthetic of the gym changed which changed the ambiance as well. Machines are consistently breaking but they keep up with maintenance as they can. So I purchased the bring a friend version of the membership. Well my friend is my daughter and she's 17. They won't let her in but I can buy her a membership. What a bunch of unethical fraudsters. Oh so my daughter can't go to the gym because you people failed to disclose what qualifies a guest. Dishonest business practices. Staff are rude. Place is overcrowded with droves of teens standing around texting not aware of their environment. Paper towel machines suck. Maintenance is absolute garbage. This place is a total rip off. New management is just a bunch of jerks. Parking is horrible too. I'm going back to a different gym, this place is a joke now. read more

Been coming here for years and it was the best and cleanest gym around. Ever since EoS took over this place went downhill. It's filthy now, it stinks and the equipment is always broken. On top of that all the EoS members from everywhere else flooded the damn place and started coming here so it's ridiculously packed with kids that just come to bullshit instead of actually working out.
