I would stay clear of this place. My friend and I rented a RXR Pro R over thanksgiving holiday weekend. T]we initially thought it was a 2025,but when they pulled up, it was a beat up 2023 Polaris that has visible damage everywhere and was filthy. While we were unaware at the time, we later found out it has been driven 3400 miles. Think of that...that's like LA to Chicago and back to Vegas in on sand and dirt of 3 and half Baha 1000 races. Desert Rentals contract has so many provisions in there that renter is liable for...the real question is what damage is NOT included. The font In their contract is so small, you cannot read it on an iPhone. Desert Rentals discourage you from using a credit card by charging a 6% fee for credit cards. No credit card charges over 3% but they know what we all know, if you have issues, you cant dispute it with Venmo or when paying cash. We later found out there were a host of safety issues. The Display screen was cracked, storage lid latch broke so it kept popping up when we drove it and we had to tape it down. Safety latches in trailer were broken, pin connector to trailer was not working, trailer door latch was not working. We towed it with a brand new 2025 Raptor R. We got to our campsite and drove it less than 30 minutes and the ball joint just broke. The other side was very worn. I don't think they ever changed them. They also altered the Polaris with aftermarket suspension and a lift kit, but the ball joints and A arms are stock so its no wonder it broke, it was under so much additional distress and not designed for the upgrades including HUGE Aftermarket wheels and rims. 30 minutes of use., still a full tank of gas and this clunker breaks down. We called and texted them repeatedly. After multiple attempts, they texted back and told me sorry, you broke, You deal with it. We objected so they offer to send someone to our campsite with a part but they wanted us to attempt to fix it. NO WAY we are touching this thing. What a HUGE liability. Just think if something else breaks and then they now say our repairs it was caused it. It is our opinion; they are trying to pawn off their old car maintenance issues on us. Their driver showed up same night with a trailer and hauled it back. He said, a new ball joint is suspect to breaking and I am like, NFW. I an not a licensed mechanic, however, I run a body shop and deal with mechanical issues all day at work. The life span of ball joints can be as much as 2000 miles under normal use. This is when I knew for sure these guys are shady. We have other photos we tool of other areas on the car that show lots of wear and maintenance issues that support this. The following morning, they texted us for the trailer (their driver came out with a trailer) and we drove the trailer back in 3 hours traffic, on Thanksgiving day, and it ruined the entire holiday. They have since refused to return our calls, text messages and emails asking for a refund. We paid them $2392.50 for the 5 day weekend, even though we drive car for 30 minutes and they got it back same day and they have refused to refund us or even give us any accounting. In addition to the multiple complaints we are filing for multiple safety issues, fraud, deceptive practices, we have filed a small claims action four our money back. IN the spirit of transparency, we did warn them that absent of a settlement, we would be taking all these actions, including sharing our experience on social media. This was in no way meant as a threat to extort them, it was based on the facts and we are taking all steps to get properly reimbursed as well as notify potential consumers of what to look for if you plan on using this company again. read more

I rented the maverick X3 side by side 4 seater for 3 days from this business and my experience was horrible. The can-am rolled over as the tires were in bad shape and had no grip. I asked the tires to be replaced before pick up, but owner said they were fine. The UTV overall was worn out, radio was not working, suspensions making noise and many body parts were loose. Be aware, the company does not offer insurance and has a $6,000 deductible and has charged many parts that were not damaged on my card. Based on online research: "having bad tires on a UTV can increase the risk of a rollover in Glamis. Tires play a crucial role in providing traction, stability, and handling, especially on sandy and uneven terrain. Worn or unsuitable tires can reduce grip and stability, making the vehicle more prone to tipping over. It's important to ensure your UTV has the right type and condition of tires for the terrain to enhance safety." read more

UPDATED REVIEW (in response to business owner's response. Original review at the bottom). Daniel, my review was an honest account of my experience with your business. I'd also like to respond to each of your points... The importance to clients and the timely process you claim to employ were not evident to me while I waited for hours to pickup my rental with my family in the car. Perhaps other customers will have better luck. As I'm sure you know, it takes substantial planning and coordination to execute a long family camping trip to Glamis. With that said, when we spoke on the phone in early December (at which time you accepted my $500 deposit) we agreed to an 8:00 am pickup. With your word, I began the planning on my end with multiple family members. However, you didn't keep your word and sent the 10:00 am appointment email just a few days before my trip. I consider this to be dishonest. By this point it was already a huge inconvenience that you changed the pickup time because I was already committed with others to be at your yard at 8:00 am. You did "accommodate" a 9:00 am pickup but then you texted that you were 45 min late and then never showed up. And as you stated, your staff didn't attend to me until 10:15, and then I still had to wait until 11:30 for the Maverick to get prepped. What's the point of making appointments and promises if you can't keep them due to "prior commitments"? My point about not getting the vehicle that I reserved/expected was not about the price difference, it's that I didn't get the vehicle that I reserved and was expecting. I consider this to be dishonest as well. Perhaps others don't mind if they reserve a Ferrari and get a Volkswagen, but some folks do. That was my point. Additionally, I did not appreciate your staff blatantly lying and saying the turbo R and RR are the same thing, very dishonest. And the machine did not run flawlessly, it broke down in the middle of the dunes at night (hence the replacement belt situation). But you're right, I did not complain. If you read my original review, you'll see that I agreed with you about the $265 cost for the replacement belt being in the contract. Also, I searched my emails and, to your credit, you did in fact send the invoice on January 4, my apologies for missing it. However, during pickup, your staff repeatedly told me the cost was $200 for the replacement belt, therefore it was very frustrating to see a much higher charge on my account. Sure, it was in the contract, but why would your staff tell me repeatedly it was only $200? Wouldn't you consider that to be dishonest? Perhaps it was just a mistake on their part, in which case a simple apology would have gone a long way, but you took the defensive route and blamed me for not reading the fine print. Where's the accountability on your and your staff's part? The characterization of my experience with your company is first hand and very accurate, but you would not know this since you never showed up for my pickup appointment. My demeanor towards your staff was frustration, and understandably so after waiting for hours, however I apologize if I came off as rude. The "interruptions with other clients" were simply me asking if it was almost my turn after hours of waiting. Entering the "restricted area" (garage) was unintentional as I was just looking for an update from someone after waiting around your yard with no updates. To be very clear, I'm not asking for any type of refund or compensation from your company. All my review was intended to do is advise future customers of my experience. If you truly value customer feedback and strive to improve your company, as you state, then you're welcome for my feedback. Stop attacking anyone who gives a bad review. Perhaps you do have an honest company with fast-working staff and reliable equipment. The price for all of this equipment rental was very reasonable and easy to book from our very first call to inquire about the package Daniel was very helpful and professional. Daniel was very patient and thorough when it came time to pick up our rentals, the instructions to operate all the equipment took time and not rushed answered all questions before we could leave his lot. Very friendly staff, they encouraged us the whole time! We visited from Virginia and had a good time the only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't take our own pictures before starting. They were nice enough to take pictures during our ride but we would've liked to have been in control of that part. Also I know it may look hot but wear pants!
