I've been a member of this gym for years. It is a very clean, well-maintained facility. Plenty of machines and floor space for all. A big plus is that I can use my "Silver Sneakers" membership here. I have used the personal trainers and they are the best and will work with you at any level. No pressure. The staff and trainers are very knowledgeable and friendly. Took a bit of a hiatus for other locations for a while, but kept my membership here because I honestly couldn't beat the price, nor the convenient location close to home. The facility moved a while ago to a different location within the same shopping center. It was definitely a great upgrade. I have to say, this is definitely my favorite Fitness 19 gym! It's more conducive to the workouts that I like to do so I particularly love the huge turf area that has various functional machines! All you HYROX peeps, if you're looking for a gym to train that has an ample amount of turf area + Concept 2 SkiErgs, this is the spot! All the members here are extremely friendly and courteous. I also like how you can get on any machine without a lot of people congregating. They have a wide selection of treadmills that are against the windows so you get a lot of natural light. They have a pretty good size weightlifting area, next to that is the squat rack and also some bumper plates so if you're into Olympic lifting you're able to do that as well. Just the complete versatility of this gym separates it from others. The staff is always really friendly. As a place to work out, it gets the job done. They have a good selection of machines to choose from. The one thing that frustrates me is how dirty this location is. I've been going to this location for over a a year, and every time I go there is some type of trash or dirt that I have to deal with on a machine. I think this could all be fixed if the staff just walked around and kept an eye on the gym floor. But all they seem to do is congregate at the tables behind the front desk and hang out. For what we pay, we should at least get a clean place to workout. read more

I've been a member of Fitness 19 Rancho Cucamonga since around the COVID years, and the decline is impossible to ignore. The music is consistently played at an excessively loud, nightclub-level volume. This is not occasional, it's every single visit. I have to ask for it to be turned down every time I walk in, and when they "adjust" it, it's so minimal you can't even tell the difference. That's not a solution, it's dismissive. I've gone directly to the manager multiple times about both the volume and the cleanliness. His response is always the same: "I don't know." No action, no follow-up, no attempt to resolve anything. I'm a semi-pro bodybuilder, I know gyms. This is not normal. There's a difference between a motivating environment and a level of noise that's simply excessive and uncomfortable. The cleanliness has also declined compared to previous management. The facility is not being maintained the way it used to be, and it shows. At this point, the issue is not just loud music or cleanliness, it's leadership. When a manager's response to repeated concerns is "I don't know," that says everything. Nothing gets addressed, nothing improves, and members are left dealing with the same problems over and over. This location is not being managed to a reasonable standard, and it reflects directly on ownership. read more

Brain dead staff ruins the gym. I work out before going to work and would watch the TV for news, traffic, etc. Recently the audio has not worked from an app. I was given by staff in the past to watch TV. I've asked to staff members how this can be fixed and both had the same exact answer. "I have no idea how that works". No effort to at least say "I'll ask my manager, find out and let you know". I've been going to this Fitness 19 for years ever since they were in the corner of the shopping center. Just recently, I dropped my airpod while on the stairmaster and unfortunately got stuck in there. The manager was really helpful & ensured me that maintenance would come eventually and be able to get the airpod out & took down my name and phone number. The next day I returned and sure enough they had my airpod out of the machine & held for me. The manager and staff were super friendly and helpful! The only gym I go to but never had any problems or issues with anyone or the equipment aside from some machines needing maintenance and being unavailable for a week or so. Staff and people who go here are good. No fights or anything. Most people are proper folk. Don't come here if you're trashy, good atmosphere and good vibes only. Had nothing but good experiences with Fitness 19 until they moved too far away, it became very inconvenient for me and my family. I finally called to cancel my membership in October and this month I was still charged for 3 of the 4 memberships after all 4 should have been cancelled. Called the gym and an employee named Patty, Patricia Alvarez, was rude and unprofessional and without explanation put me on hold and let someone else help me. Of course I was angry when I called, I had a right to be, but I wasn't disrespectful. Was going here consistently for over a year until I moved to Vegas. I attempted to cancel it but they suggested I put it on hold instead. I agreed (to use when I visit Cali) They then decided to tell me that I would need to prove I moved to cancel it and then after sending in proof and attempting to contact them through several ways they sent it to collections..... And to the owner that responded. No it wasn't clearly communicated at all and I did what you guys asked but you still sent it. So last resort isn't what happened. Geo Torres' Mon and Friday zumba classes make my life happier. He is a fantastic dance instructor which has great zumba song lists and all kinds of Choreographies. I've been coming here for 3 years and I enjoy working out here at least 3-4 times a week. It's not a fancy shmancy gym, but all the essential equipment is here. People are courteous overall. I think I've seen a person with a tripod once. This gym is probably the last haven not infested by TikTok gym influencers. People complained about the lack of cleanliness, but I disagree. I've seen staff/contracted cleaners clean the gym on the regular. We can all agree some people are gross and not respectful of a shared space. The gym doesn't have control over that, but they do strive to keep the place clean. Staff is friendly. More often than none am I greeted by staff. Even after a workout with my sweaty rbf and headphones in my ears, the staff always greet me good bye. It can be overcrowded at times. I've just figured out when to go at non busy times. All in all, this place keeps me healthy both mentally and physically. Great place to start your fitness journey or if you need a new gym. read more

I was hesitant at first to go to a personal trainer but after my husband's transformation I gave it a shot and it was the best decision l made hands down!! Where do I start. I purchased training sessions back during Covid. I have been requesting a refund since then however every time I called I call I was told no refund can be done but the can honor what I paid in training sessions. Today I called to schedule the sessions and was told I cannot use my credit anymore. The representative was so rude he told me I was a liar and cannot get any training done even though I paid for them. I paid $800 for these sessions which they will not honor or refund. The 4 star rating is just to be kind. I won't be returning to the gym but if he were to ever run a restaurant- consider me the first guest! I had a sour taste in my mouth of the gym because of a cancellation, I had moved and had a canceled my membership back in October, but after "confirmed" cancellation I kept receiving calls that I owed a balance and my payment was pending. I was patient at first but became annoyed as it was 4 months later and now, well into the New Year with phone calls of the automation center that there would be dings to my credit. I had tried to call the gym and the automation center for months throughout this confirming cancellation (I had emails to the manager) but was starting to get worried this wasn't taken care of. I understand the manager was on paternity leave (totally understandable) but 4 months of an unresolved issue added stress to me. Imagine everyday getting a call from a bill collector you know you don't owe money to, but them pestering you that your credit would be hit. Not to mention, any time I called the staff- they said they'd look into it and take care of it but again and again I'd loose trust someone was on it because it never was really fixed. UNTIL TODAY! I called and Ivan took care of me. He didn't downplay the issue, he solved it. He noticed that I'd been dealing with this long enough, and like a person in management should (if he's not- he SHOULD be) and took care of my issue after doing some digging rather than pretending to do anything. It really changed my impression of the gym and I hope he's in management some day wherever he goes. True story. Give the guy a raise and let him lead a team. It's nice! Signed up using my health insurance program and that process was painless and pleasant. They have plans starting at $9.99 and the equipment is better or just as good as 24 hour fitness. The gym is smaller than 24 but it's not super crowded and the bathrooms are very clean and high tech? The sinks there have a faucet that has the hand dryer on either side of the water spout (I posted a photo, that's better than my description here). The staff are really nice and greet you when you walk in and leave. Plenty of parking in the parking lot and it's in the same lot as Starbuck's, Ralphs and an almost hidden gas station in the corner. read more

Decent club - decent equipment - clean. Bored, uninterested and unfriendly staff. Clearly the manager has not trained the team on customer service. This appears to be a corporate policy, or at least a lack of interest by the entire firm. I base that on their phone billing system, which is ridiculous. I'll continue to use the gym, but I won't recommend it. If I had it to do over again, I'd join elsewhere.... P.S. - the general manager called and is new since my last visit - perhaps the service is better. I raised my rating from 2 stars to 4 just because he was concerned enough to call. read more

I'm impressed with this facility and the staff. It's quite a large, neat and clean facility. Sometimes it can get busy especially Mondays and Tuesdays. But still you get your machines without much wait. I have been training with Freddy, since I joined here and have seen a significant improvement in my fitness level and have lost quite a few pounds. He has a wealth of knowledge about exercise physiology and always willing to share his expertise to achieve my goals. He takes time to understand my individual needs and tailors my workout plans accordingly. I have a bad lower back and what I like most about him is that he goes above and beyond to make me comfortable and motivated during our sessions.
