In the past where I've personally experienced poor sanitation protocols at other regular nail salons. Safety is always first, and her method truly reflects that with the services being offered. Paramedical pedicures and Russian manicures are trending and really should be implemented more in general, and Shanna and her team are simply ahead of the game by offering these services first here in Tucson. This is SO refreshing especially now that we know so many beauty products and fragrances are toxic these days. (It was the first time I've ever came home from a pedicure and didn't smell chemically and/or of strong perfume from lotions.) I normally get monthly pedicures from a typical nail salon, and even though I go monthly, my skin is still incredibly dry. The atmosphere is tranquil, and the overall look is airy and clean. There's distance between clients, mellow music... Denise does a really great pedicure. I don't want to say too many good things, because I don't want her to get overbooked , but her friendly, professional manor is great; she listens to what I want, asking questions if there are options. I leave with soft, nicely manicured feet--and they use DazzleDry--a polish that dries in 5 minutes and lasts nicely (they have other polish types as well --all non-toxic).

My manicurist was incredibly helpful and cared about giving me what I wanted rather than what he thinks looks good - which I have never experienced at any other salon in Tucson. I appreciated his willingness to help me replicate the nails I wanted. L. and I do not agree with anything that she has stated. Do not let that one review persuade you from booking with Erica! I have been going to see Erica for about 3 years. She is one of the best nail techs I have ever been too. She keeps her work space extremely clean. Her quality of work is top notch. I get gel on my nails, and regular polish on my toes. She does have her own private room which makes it nice when the salon is busy. She has a TV that you can watch while getting your toes done and always has nice calming music playing.
