Love getting a pedicure here! The room they use for nails has walls of windows looking toward the Catalina mountains. Just beautiful. The atmosphere is tranquil, and the overall look is airy and clean. There's distance between clients, mellow music... Denise does a really great pedicure. I don't want to say too many good things, because I don't want her to get overbooked , but her friendly, professional manor is great; she listens to what I want, asking questions if there are options. I leave with soft, nicely manicured feet--and they use DazzleDry--a polish that dries in 5 minutes and lasts nicely (they have other polish types as well --all non-toxic). read more

Everything was simple, and the services I had (express pedicure and eyebrow wax) were was very nice. Both the technicians I had were very friendly! I took my best friend here for her bachelorette party and they treated us all very well. Each of us got a private massage and we all got to bring our own sparkling cider, which they kept cold for us. I have nothing bad to say other than spa water should be offered and bathroom should be suggested before services start to elevate the experience. However I had an amazing experience and facial I got the age rejuvenating facial 117 dollars and I would say that it made my face so so so soft and plump. I'm 27 and I noticed a slight difference I'm just trying to get my face to be perfect for my wedding day in May. It's a very cute place that's clean and very relaxing. Finally made to the North location and it's lovely! A very different vibe from the downtown location. It's much bigger, open and more modern. It has an equally tranquil vibe. I really love this spa for pedicures. The ambiance is so calming and the staff is consistently great! Pedicures here are a little pricey, but the special touches, like a cup of warm tea and picking a delightful aromatherapy scent are memorable and add to the experience. I've been coming to this location consistently for almost 6 months and I have never been disappointed by my treatments. I get a mani and pedi once a month and have seen several staff. The only downside is they book out about a month ahead so you better plan! I love their ORLY Gel FX manis and am always amazed by how long lasting they are. Once a month really is enough and it still looks good, if a little grown out by your next appointment. Everyone here is professional and easy conversationalists. The layout is open and airy with loads of big windows. The vibe is very chill. The appointment times can be tight so sometimes you may wait 5-15minutes past your scheduled time but usually the person checking you out acknowledges your patience with a small discount, how kind! read more

I waited to add this review since it looks like they mainly delete bad reviews on their Yelp page. For this reason I will also post a review on my social medias, google, TripAdvisor, ect. My friend arrived on time for her appointment. I unfortunately arrived 5 minutes late with my other friend seeing as we live 45 minutes away and didn't time correctly. No excuse. That was our bad. Interesting enough we were not sat down until 9:10 AM. The attitudes of the two women who did my friends nails was unacceptable. The only nice one from our visit was the woman who did my pedicure. She was kind, even offered me gel when we didn't request the add on. The other two gals barely spoke a word, didn't introduce themselves, and gave off a "mean girl" attitude. When people are coming to your place of work for a service, it's common sense to be a nice person. If you aren't able to provide add ons to a service, there is a respectful way to relay that message. These two ladies (a shorter light haired Hispanic gal, and a red head gal) were rude. If this is what Greentoes is all about, then clients should stay away from this location. There are plenty of other salons who have a better attitude towards customers than this establishment does. The owners of this company should back their workers, but to an extent. They shouldn't condone rude behavior. It shows me that they are most likely the same exact way. I won't be recommending this place to friends, family and clients. I've been going to Greentoes for pedicures for about a year now and can't believe I'm just now writing a review - it's my favorite place to go for when I need some self care, and though it's on the pricier side, I have found that it's worth the splurge and have never been disappointed with my pedicures. The ambiance is so calming and relaxing, and the oils/lotions that they use have such a lovely but not super overpowering smell. I have been getting my facials done here for the past few months now and I can't stop coming back~ I even added a Swedish massage to my last visit and it was absolutely AMAZING! I have been getting the Signature Refining Facial done by Veronica and she always does an amazing job making it a relaxing experience and really makes sure to focus on my skin needs whenever I come in. I honestly love all parts of the facial, from the dermaplaning, to the extractions (even though it hurts, its a good pain removing all the bad stuff from my face), to the masks, the facial massage, and the mini arm massage as well. I would highly recommend this facial for a relaxing, rejuvenating experience. Visiting from out-of-town, I selected Greentoes in part because of the good reviews. I was not disappointed. I had a Slow Beauty Pedicure from Imelda. Imelda's calm, quiet, and gentle presence immediately put me at ease and relaxed me. The pedicure she gave me was amazing. Then I had a Slow Beauty Manicure from Sandra. Sandra is friendly and engaging and gave a lovely manicure. I enjoyed hot tea throughout both treatment. The facility is spotless and is surrounded by large windows so there is a lot of light. Debra the new GM contacted me recently to amend my experience of frustrating, cancelled appointments earlier this year. I went in for a facial with April last week and the experience was absolutely wonderful! The spa is beautiful and peaceful, they use great products (one of which I purchased for home) and the staff was friendly. April did a great job and my skin is still glowing a week later. I will be going back for other services since this was a good experience. I think it's challenging for spas that are short-staff lately since I tried several day spas in the past 6 months with a similar experience of cancelled appointments, no returned calls and just when I find great people, they leave for another spa. Had a smile on her face and brought me tea and the list of the companies services to view while she was working on my nails. I booked a massage for my sister in law and power peel facial for myself. She's a mom of two under two and I'm visiting from California, wanting to treat her to a relaxing massage. It was her first time ever getting one and she said she really enjoyed it. My facial on the other hand was alright. Veronica was very nice and I enjoyed the dermaplaning but I left expecting and wanting more. I got a 5 second consultation as I entered the treatment room. It felt very rushed. I am also a licensed esthetician and know what goes into giving and receiving a facial. I've never received a facial and didn't get extractions done. That's the best part of any facial in my opinion! Again, I'm from out of state and probably should have asked over the phone if extractions were included. I wouldn't return. read more

I absolutely love Greentoes and recommend them to everyone! I have been visiting their downtown location and was thrilled to learn that they would be opening on the north side of town. Let me tell you, if you're in the mood for a massage, waxing, or nail treatments, this is where you need to be making your next appointment. Gorgeous atmosphere. They have huge windows at this location that overlook the mountains (look past the road!) and everything looks luxurious the moment you walk in. Big, comfy seats for when you're getting your perfect pedicure done. They are environmentally friendly, as are all of their products, which is something that I really care about. They use SpaRitual products and I have always had nail color that has lasted 3 weeks (sometimes longer!) when applied by the technicians here. I came in on Tuesday, November 27th, and was thrilled with the new location and my pedicure. I booked a later afternoon appointment (they have appointments until 5pm!) and was greeted when I walked in. They offered me a beverage and let me take the time to pick my perfect color (a gorgeous dark metallic blue). I was then escorted back to a huge, comfy chair and my feet where placed in the nicest, warmest water in the world. I chose a jasmine scent that is to die for--but they have lots of great scents to pique your interests. I've always tried different ones but I was in a jasmine mood. I got the signature pedicure, which includes soaking, salts, a very lovely little foot massage with oils, callus removal, nail color, yes yes yes! Everyone was super friendly! The staff here really is great, and as odd as it sounds I like to be able to "trust" someone before I let them touch my feet. And I've never felt anything but trust, warmth, and good vibes at Greentoes. Today, all we can talk about at work is my pedicure and how great my feet feel! I absolutely love this place, at first I was a bit nervous going in but after the nail tech talked to me I felt a bit more at ease. My nail tech was so kind and took really good care of my hands and feet. She cleaned my feet to make them look absolutely spectacular. This place is pricey but it's totally worth it. For gel nail polish they will charge you $20 extra of the type of mani and pedi service you get. Understand that this is more of a service based place than the usual mani pedi. Normally, I would give this spa a five star rating, but in the end my experience fell short in the customer-care and follow-through department. The facial was fabulous, but when I paid with my debit card the person asked if I wanted the receipt, I said "no"....first mistake. I went to work and checked my messages at 6, there was a call from the salon but I thought I would call tomorrow morning. I went to dinner and shopping and my card was turned down twice. When I got home, I checked my account and $17,000.00 from Green Tooes had been charged to my account. My account had been put on hold, and $5,000 had been removed from my savings. The next morning I called the Salon and my call was not returned. I called the next day and a person looked into it saying it was no big deal and it will say pending but the transaction had been cancelled, a lame "I am sorry". I didn't feel very comforted by this, and my account had been on hold for 3 days. I then emailed the main Salon and the next day I heard from the owner, he said he was sorry, but there was no offer of ammends, an appology email or card...at least a 20% off cupon. Really??? I worked my way through college as a nail tech and would have never treated a client in this manner. Even though it is a great salon, I will not return. There was absolutely no accountability for the mistake and how it affected me. read more

I enjoyed Kaylah who did my pedicure but didn't like that a door couldn't be left open and of course no open windows. The choice of polish was very limited. I noticed how strong the odor from the polish was once I got in my car. I had the air conditioner and the windows opened and still found it so offensive. That has never happened from Essie and other polish that is generally used either from a shop or preferably when I bring my own. read more

I've had two experiences with this spa location. The first was when I went to get a gift card for Christmas. They where out of gift cards and just printed a piece of paper saying I paid or regular paper. It was raining and I asked for something to put the paper in as I went back to my car and they said no. The whole time I was there I was treated with a rude dismissive tone. Okay fine it's almost Christmas and pro local be stressed. I just called to make an appointment for myself and my aunt I gave the gift certificate to before she left for the season. The woman who answered the phone laughed when I asked to make an appointment and said they don't have any appointments for 3 weeks out. My follow up question was what about your other location. She went on to tell me they too wouldn't have available either. Then she proceeded to hang up immediately on me. So again I'm really regretting ever buying a gift card to this place! I called the other location and they said they could get me in that same day (I was not able to make that time, but I just goes to my point). All and all super bad first impression. I wouldn't us the gift card I have but that would just be benefiting them more so I just I will need to use it so I'm not just giving them over $100 for rude service for nothing. read more

This is one of the worst massage places I've ever experienced. I've been getting massages for years and I'm not even sure their massage therapist are licensed. I was brought in late for both of my appointments and the massage ended early both times. It was not the 60 minutes that I paid for. There is a certain flow of how massage therapist work on your body and both therapist did not have it. It was a complete waste of my time and money. My first experience was horrible so I requested a different massage therapist for my second appointment and it was not any better. There is a reason they don't follow up with a satisfaction inquiry.
