I have used them twice now-once - planned and once - unplanned. First service was to clear dryer vent since it had not been done in the 8 yrs (new install) I have owned the home (my bad). David cleared it, tested the air flow and everything worked fine. Advised of a future need which would be a warranty item thus a little more cost and time to complete. Second service - 2.5 mos later late on a Friday, the dryer went into a full alert due to high pressure and shut itself off (built-in safety mechanism). I contacted the company that evening baffled as to why and when could they send someone to inspect it. They responded late that evening that David would arrive first thing Monday morning. He arrived on time - checked the airflow which was fine but the alert was still active. So David went into the crawl space to inspect the duct system and behold it was bad and dangerous (from 8 yrs ago) - flex duct which was easily 3X the length required, 2" vs 4" piping in/out of crawl space using pvc piping, compromised flex duct in the laundry room causing dust to settle around and behind the washer and dryer units - not evident in the open area. It was all incorrectly installed and ultimately dangerous to my home. I was fortunate that I had never suffered a fire. He quoted me a repair and 4 days later he was onsite resetting the whole duct system. Ran into a problem with ducting into the crawl space, dispatched a couple of his guys to come and assist and the work was done in 3 hours, space cleaned and everything tested and the alert was resolved. Pricing was acceptable. I will definitely engage them again if and when necessary. Thanks

I've been a customer of GB HVAC Services for years, and they've consistently been on time,…read moretrustworthy, and there whenever I've needed them. When my HVAC system recently failed, I obtained quotes from six different companies. GB HVAC not only came in with the best price, but they were also, by far, the most professional throughout the entire process. I did a lot of research before making my decision, and one thing became very clear: the quality of the installation is just as important as the warranty. While some companies advertise 10-year labor warranties, I'd rather work with a company that stands behind its workmanship and does the job right the first time. The installation was flawless. The crew was professional, respectful of my home, and cleaned up so thoroughly that I couldn't even tell they had been there. To top it off, a senior HVAC technician came out afterward to perform a final quality inspection, which gave me even more confidence in my decision. In a market where choosing an HVAC company can feel overwhelming, I can confidently give GB HVAC Services my highest recommendation. Whether you need routine maintenance or a complete system replacement, they're a company you can trust.

DO NOT USE AIR DUCT RESCUE…read more I hired Air Duct Rescue to clean my air ducts on Friday, and immediately afterward my AC stopped working during an extremely hot summer weekend. Whether they caused the issue directly or not, the timing was too significant to ignore, and their response afterward was completely unacceptable. I contacted them on Monday and explained that my AC had stopped working after their service. Initially, they refused to send anyone out until Tuesday, despite the fact that my family had been without air conditioning all weekend. After further discussion, they called back and said they would send someone that afternoon. Later, I received a text stating that a technician would arrive between 2 PM and 5 PM. No one showed up. At 5 PM, I called to ask for an ETA. I was told they weren't sure when the technician would arrive and that it might be 6 PM or 7 PM. After waiting all afternoon, I told them that was too late and asked them not to send anyone. They agreed and said they would instead send someone the following morning. Then, at approximately 7:30 PM, a technician unexpectedly arrived anyway. Not only did they ignore my request not to come, but the technician rang the doorbell and pounded on the door hard enough to wake my jet-lagged parents and my 3-month-old baby. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and disrespectful of my family's time and circumstances. Poor communication, missed commitments, failure to honor scheduling agreements, and showing up after being told not to come are not acceptable. I would not recommend Air Duct Rescue to anyone.

I wish I had followed my gut feelings during the initial visit; now I am having to pay another company to re-do half of the work. I called to have a rain pan installed (that wasn't currently installed) and the termination cap replaced (old, rusted, looked bad). Their salesman comes out, we discuss my two needs, he flies a drone over my house to take a look, and gives me an exorbitant quote. We discuss more, and I begrudgingly accept to do the job for the price offered because I need it done. I provide the deposit for half the amount to get started. He emails me the invoice, and he only has the rain pan listed for the service. I ask him to correct it on the spot. He suddenly gets amnesia, claims we didn't just discuss the two items that we just agreed upon for this huge fee, and that we had only agreed upon the rain pan being installed. I told him to update the invoice with the agreed upon services/items or give me the deposit back. He refuses to give me the deposit back, gets upset, says he's "never going to find a termination cap that fits," says the current one is "just fine," but updates the invoice to reflect what we discussed (I SO WISH I HAD JUST INSISTED ON GETTING THE DEPOSIT BACK OR STOPPED PAYMENT ON THE CHECK, AND JUST PAID THE STUPID FEE FOR THEM TO COME OUT. Would have been money well spent to get rid of them.) He sends a guy out the following week to take measurements for the job. It then takes an eternity for them to return and actually do the job. They keep claiming they can't find a termination cap that will fit. About 1-2 months later, I get an email with one photo of the completed work taken from like 20 feet away (even though the guy is standing on the roof and could have provided close-up shots). I never hear from them again. The following years, every time it rains, I hear rain coming in the chimney (which I had never heard before). I hire another company to come out, clean the chimney, and give me some options on correcting Chimney "Pro" Cleaners work so the rain doesn't come into the chimney (the WHOLE point of a termination cap is stop the rain and other things from coming into the chimney! BIG FAT FAIL!). When the new company comes, they take close-up pictures to show me what's actually up there. Chimney "Pro" Cleaners had purchased a termination cap that was a completely different size, took metal shears and made cuts up the side, forced the cap around the top of the chimney, and drilled screws all the way around to try to make it fit to the shape. I have to pay to replace it again and repair the damage. Awesome. So if you want to waste your money and have to hire another company to repair the repairs, go with these guys.
