Absolute life saver...after seeing so many glowing reviews (whenever you see 4.9 stars and over 50 reviews you know someone is doing something right) I immediately reached out to Rohan after our HVAC heat stopped working on the coldest day of the year (so far!). It was after 5pm, and within a short time Rohan called me back that night and set up something that next day. I so appreciated that because not everyone returns calls after hours, and we (well I) was panicked. It's an old system and thus had multiple problems that Rohan diagnosed, one by one. Each time he did he called me downstairs so I could see what was going on. Not only did it build trust (which he didn't need to do - I could feel from the get go his trustworthiness) but it helped me to understand and learn. All of this troubleshooting required multiple trips and additional parts needed (some where he didn't leave until 9:45pm, one on a Sunday - his off day where he insisted on coming). It also required work arounds for an old system, and finding parts (who knew a Trane doesn't use universal parts?!). But all along he kept a really good attitude, and always went the extra mile. We got a new thermostat and he opened it up to make sure the wires were all put on correctly (when he didn't have to) as just one example. He cleaned everything out - coils, etc. as well. He just deeply cares about his work and clients. He even checked in later that night once things were all finally fixed to make sure all was still good. When you have a problem that you know nothing about you have to rely on others. You hope they know what they're doing, are really good at it, and are truly looking out for you. Rohan was a life saver. Our HVAC stopped cooling one fine day making our upstairs very hot (perfect timing). Home warranty was an option but you know you always get scheduled with the worst of the worst, and they couldn't schedule me in for a few days.. I checked up some reviews on Yelp and HVAC Guys showed up as the only 5 star reviewed provider. Curious I checked other platforms and all had glowing reviews, so I messaged the business on Yelp, and got a response almost immediately. It took me a bit to respond to him, given the chaotic household on a Saturday evening but I was made aware that there is an emergency service fee and the repair charges to fix! Rohan was on his way around 7pm! Rohan has a good demeanor and very personable. He got to work immediately and diagnosed the problem (capacitor). Within 20 mins I had my HVAC working again. He gave him quite a few pieces of relevant information about my HVAC and even cleaned the coils outside to make sure everything was tip top! The total charge was reasonable - please don't compare these with DIY costs as HVACs need some level of knowledge and expertise. They accept all forms of payment but Venmo/Zelle make it super easy to pay for the services. Highly recommended. They also offer maintenance, which is top on my list prior to me turning my heat on. read more

I had the pleasure of working with Rohan as I also had the displeasure of my heating system conking out while I was out of town. Came home and it was 60 degrees in the house when the thermostat was set to 70. Rohan got back to me right away and got a technician out immediately. They changed a fuse as the fuse was blown. Then our heat was back on. Overnight, the issue occurred again where the heater conked out, and Rohan was out of town in another country. He wanted to be able to look at it personally versus sending another technician out, so he suggested I go with someone else who can get there faster. Instead of making me wait, he refunded me the fee for the fuse as he wasn't able to solve the problem. His communication, kindness, and level of service were all exemplary. I would be happy to work with him and his team again in the future. Words are inadequate to describe the amazing service I received from these guys! I had another company tell me my HVAC needed to be replaced but I felt as though I was getting a sales pitch. Three weeks in July/August: A mosquito whines in my ear - I don't bother swatting it away. A ceiling fan hums and thrums overhead, pushing hot air around the cramped room. Half unpacked moving boxes lie scattered and abandoned. My cat stays crouched under the bed for endless hours - he can't move in this heat. A bead of sweat rolls down my face as I force a smile on camera, trying to pitch a TikTok dance that is not too sell-y. Update: Client wants the logo bigger. The wet towel I keep draped around my neck every day is molding and beginning to smell. I smell. The apartment smells - a thick, unavoidable, nasty sweet smell coming from the floors, the walls, the air. The apartment has become a sauna and it is sweating out its toxins. Dishes pile. Flies buzz. I can't clean. I can't move. I can't think. The temperature inside sits at a sickening 85 degrees, almost proud of itself. I'm on the edge of madness. I might possibly already be mad. I used to cry hot, angry tears. Now I just stare. A knock at the door. A smiling man in a blue polo stands before me. He's Rohan and he represents HVAC Guyz & Plumbing. In the afternoon, Rohan heads out to grab the crew some lunch and offers to pick something up for me as well. Before they leave, Rohan walks me through what to expect and how long it might take before I start to feel the results of a new AC unit. He reminds me that I can call me anytime with any questions or concerns. The next morning I wake with blankets bundled around me. I beam as I shuffle over to the thermostat - the temperature is set to 68 and the internal temperature reads at 68. A perfect match. Before I have a chance to update Rohan with the good news, he reaches out to me checking to see how things are going. We laugh, we cry (ok just me) - but wow. What an amazing experience. I had been without air for almost seven weeks. I had been stood up by two other guys this week. I wrote Rohan on a Saturday morning around 11:30. He replied immediately, told me there would be an extra charge for the emergency call, and said he'd be here between 12:30 and 1:30. He burrowed into my crawlspace (which hadn't been opened until this week in 9 years oops). He was able to guess very quickly what was going on, and ran a test to ensure he was right.
