Thought you knew what F45 was? Cute. Try F45 Klein and…read moreprepare to have your expectations bench-pressed into another dimension. (Keep reading--even if you don't like corny jokes.) I've been to other fitness classes and "functional fitness" gyms, and let me tell you... this one hits different. The coaches are somehow equal parts drill sergeant, hype squad, and therapist. They know your name, your limits, and exactly when you're about to fake tie your shoe to skip burpees. (Nice try, though.) And here's the kicker, they actually know what they're talking about. Just because someone has a cert doesn't mean they should be coaching. These coaches? They coach. The vibe? Immaculate. The workouts? Brutal... in that "why am I smiling after nearly passing out?" kind of way. And the community? It's like the cool kids' table if the cool kids welcomed everyone and high-fived you just for showing up. Even if you've been here before or thought, "I've done this type of workout," come again. Seriously. You've probably never experienced it like this. F45 Klein has that magic mix of accountability, fun, and sweat-soaked camaraderie that somehow makes you want to keep coming back. Try one class. Worst case? You get a killer workout. Best case? You accidentally fall in love with it. Either way: worth it. And if you've made it this far and are thinking, "I can't do that, I'm sick / injured / [insert reason here]"--don't sell yourself short. Thanks to the coaches here, I've been able to safely work through both injuries and a new illness diagnosis (hello, multiple sclerosis) while still losing body fat and gaining muscle.

It's terribly sad that I'm even having to write this review. When my family and I went into F45, we…read morewere looking for something new, fun, and exciting. And honestly, during the free class they offered us, those were the vibes I got from the place. It wasn't until after the class ended and we were confronted by the extremely "salesy" owner, Jay, that the vibe 100% changed. He provided us with packages they offered, and although he knew we were very hesitant to even purchase anything, he was still extremely pushy. The facility was 30-45 minutes away from our homes (which we mentioned), my sister is a realtor working very demanding hours at the moment and, I myself, am an ICU nurse in the middle of a pandemic working 13 hour shifts. Again, although we explained all of this, the owner or manager continued to be pushy and actually almost ridicule us by saying, "come on. You don't have 45 minutes to an hour for a work out?" When in reality, if he had actually been listening to us, we were more concerned about the hour+ long commute it would take us to get there and home, in addition to not knowing if the times the classes were held would have accommodated our schedule - (As there are only classes offered very early in the AM until 9AM and only in the evening time). We asked if they offered small packages, so we could try to see if the commute would be worth us making. He said they did not offer any small packages, nor did they offer a package for 5 classes - which we specifically asked. Needless to say, my boyfriend had to walk out because of how uncomfortable and pushy he was. In the end, he ended up "creating a new package for my sister and I" that would "benefit us" in the end, charging us over $150 for 10 classes. Later that day, I started following this specific location on Instagram and was reached out to by their social media team. They offered me a package in which the manager/owner said they did not offer in-person - FIVE CLASSES for $10. This is not only terrible customer service, but it's bad business and a lack of veracity on managements end. Even after spending the money, I refuse to go back to a place with such terrible ethics and morals. I highly recommend a different training/workout facility - or at least make sure you reach out via Instagram before going into the facility and being 100% taken advantage of. HA.

The community feel is amazing and everyone knows everyone in class and everyone supports and encourages everyone to be the best they can be. If you want the best workout in town I highly recommend coming to be a part of the F45 family. I average between 650-750 calories burnt in each class. You can too if you come join me at the 6:30 am class every week day. The trainers are also amazing, fun people who will help you be the best you can and enjoy some good conversation!

I ended up with the Elite membership going twice per week and paid the additional class for quite some time... During this time I was going to PT for runners knee. After doing the rower, my runner's knee healed on its own! The coaches are great! They will ask if anyone had any injuries and help you adjust to any workouts. In 7 weeks I dropped two sizes! People around me saw the results and asked what I was doing... All I did was send them my referral link. ;) As long as you focus on yourself and goals ... it's not so bad! It can be intimidating at first and a lot to learn all the verbiage and the structure of the class. Just show up and keep going. All the coaches are great here! Don't feel bad for going at your own pace! I don't. ;) Love the perks of a membership! You can go to ANY location with no extra fees! There's only a few that will charge extra.

Once they unlocked the door to come in Kylie said we couldn't get the corner tread because she had already signed someone else on the tread. I proceeded to tell her that we were here first and she said that Rachel likes that tread and has to start there because she's claustrophobic. I told her well there's three other spots she can start on a corner. Kylie just said oh well, where would you like to start? I'm a big believer. Get there early if you want a certain spot. The staff shouldn't be saving a tread for anyone. Coach Julie is an amazing coach!

I enjoyed spending time with the coaches and other people coming. I found myself savouring when the time would come to go. I transitioned into the main classroom at the end of January 2017 and it felt the same. I didn't know everyone coming but that's not a problem for me. I don't feel insecure in gyms but I know that some people can feel really bogged down by that. I recommend being vocal with not knowing how to do something and everyone there is working on some sort of goal. The coaches are accessible and they want you to succeed and check your form. It's been a great workout each time and I love not having to think about what to do for a workout each day. I go 4x a week at random times. I've been at the 9:30, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30pm classes. I've never had a bad time. I already see the changes in my body from the month of workouts and I'm definitely a fan of Crossfit town center. I feel stronger and less tired each time I go. I've had some soreness but I've upped my water intake so it's not as terrible as I expected. I know that it can feel intimidating walking into a new place and that's where the foundations came in for me. I hadn't been in a gym for almost 2 years. I did try on one class before foundations but I knew it was for me after that class-the foundations gave me confidence and also helped me to feel familiar with the space and things I was using.
