I've been looking for a fun way to increase my cardio/endurance (I am a crossfitter) and decided to…read moredrop into a free trial class on a whim. I am so glad I did! Registering online and reserving my bike in the back row (first time jitters!) was super easy. I showed up the rquired 15 minutes before time and the lady at the front desk was enthusiastic and helpful. She helped me select the right sizes shoes, get my locket set up, and told me to help myself to a water bottle and my choice of room temperature, chilled, or sparkling water. She showed me around the facilities, helped me adjust my bike, and showed me how to clip my shoes into the bike (I struggled with this part, but she was so sweet and patient!). The class began and the instructor was friendly and upbeat. About 15 minutes into the class I was worried I wouldn't make it through the entire 50 minutes! But, the tempos adjusted and we took a slower pace to work through some shoulders and arms with the 4lb bar. Being a Crossfitter, I laughed inwardly at using a 4lb bar, but boy did it make my muscles shake! There were also intervals of sprints and races, where you can opt in or out of having your place recorded on the TVs. Since it was my first class I declined, but wish I had opted in. It looked fun! At the end of class, our instructor encouraged us to stretch. As we exited the room we received ice cold towels with eucalyptus oil. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the facility and the people. It was a VERY clean facility with very friendly people! I'm looking forward to many more rides there!

I've been going to The BackWoods CrossFit for over a year now. Still a top notch gym with great…read morecoaching. Coaches meet each athlete where they are at, and they're quick to scale any and all movements to suit each athlete and their specific goals. ============================ Excellent gym! I've visited and been a member of several CrossFit gyms, and have several years experience as CF L1 and L2 Instructor. I can say, with full confidence, The Backwoods CrossFit is among the best boxes I've ever been to. I'm happily a member now! Coach Kirbie is an awesome coach. She coaches form over weight, and is very diligent about checking in with each class member for any injuries/limitations she needs to be aware of. But, don't be fooled, she will push you and make you be a better, fitter, version of yourself. Safely, of course. The members are wonderful people also, very welcoming, which is important because stepping into a CrossFit box for the first time can be intimidating. Not so at The BackWoods CrossFit. I can't say enough good things. Great, great place. You're still reading this? Just go check it out!!

The owner, Coach Kirbie, truly cares about everyone here and it shows. She invests in everyone's goals and is very encouraging. I've become stronger, faster, healthier, and more pain-free alongside great people that keep me coming back. I highly recommend taking advantage of the free week. You'll love it. Come hang out!

I've been going to BYCF for about a year and a half and I love it! ,…read more Everyone is so nice, positive, and really make you feel comfortable. They have a variety of classes to choose from and you can always do any workout at your ability level. Classes are scheduled at all times of day , so you can find one that works for you. They provide all of the equipment needed and are very patient with beginners. The patrons are also "real" people and it make you feel comfortable in any other their classes,,,, that being said... dont think its easy! You will work your tail off and be a big sweaty mess at the end of every class!!!!

I went to Believe You Can a couple of months ago just before their grand opening and have continued…read moregoing since then. It is a gym that offers only group fitness classes seven days a week. Members can either sign up for unlimited classes, a specific number of classes per month, or drop in classes. Individual, couple, and family month-to-month memberships are available. The gym does not offer individual workouts. I have been to probably ten classes so far and enjoy them. Most of the classes they offer are Les Mills classes, which are preprogrammed choreographed routines that change every few months. They also offer a few other classes that are not Les Mills. Although the choreographed nature of the classes is not my favorite (I wish they were more freestyle), the gym has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the coaches and owner are so nice and friendly. The memberships are affordable, and the classes are very convenient, especially in our rural area. The gym is very responsive to its members' needs. My minor complaint is because the instructor is working out while teaching and the music is playing, she is often unable to correct member form and sometimes it is difficult to hear her instructions. Probably due to the fact that these are group cardio focused exercise classes, every class I have been to has been 100% women! If you're interested in checking it out, be aware that you will be surrounded by estrogen. I recommend the gym both to beginning and experienced exercisers, as they have classes for all levels. They have basic equipment but they do not have cardio equipment or machines. They offer showers but no lockers or other storage facilities, as they are brand new and pretty simple setup. And they also offer free daycare for some classes on some days. I recommend them if you're looking for new motivation or something a little different.
